Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires is a mediocre strategy and mediocre Musou title as well. It's certainly not worth the full price mark and in case you're not a die-hard fan, it really might not be worth your time either.

Forbidden West is an ideal sequel to Zero Dawn, everything that worked in the last game is the same or better, and everything that didn't work is mostly fixed. In addition, there are beautiful graphics, an exciting story, and a demonstration of the extreme limits that the classic open-world action genre can reach.

With the story all over the place and meaningless choices, Dying Light 2 is a game that will leave most of the players with zero impressions. The potential of the plot and the faint writing of Chris Avellone are present but not nearly enough to make this game worth your time. This is only for the hard core fans of the genre.

SIFU is a game that combines the sharpness and tension of an urban action with all the finesse and beauty of old-school kung fu flick. SIFU's combat system and atmosphere are highly addictive, and the advancement system will put you in front of some difficult choices. The flow and speed of the fights are impressive. You'll enjoy doing damage and hurting people in cafes, kung-fu schools, and other urban areas. All in all, this is a highly addictive and fun piece for all fans of "one man army" games.

Fans definitely expected more from these remasters, while someone who hasn’t gone through these stories before will probably still be able to see what’s great about them - despite the changes the remasters have brought. Without a doubt, the original season of Life is Strange and even Before the Storm prequel, are great adventures, but should be experienced in their original form that is still available.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus successfully refreshes the very old formula of these classic games, bringing players back to the past of the Pokemon universe but at the same time moving game mechanics into the future.

Expeditions Rome is trying to bridge the gap between turn-based RPGs and turn-based strategy games - and it succeeds almost completely. Unfortunately, mass battles during the campaign become unnecessary, so the narrative weight in that aspect is completely lost. Nevertheless, a big step up compared to the previous instalment.

While God of War and The Last of Us 2 only got a patch that allowed them to work better on PlayStation 5, the last two Uncharted titles get a little more love with special remasters that bring many new graphical options and great support for other gimmicks of the new system. In the newly remastered collection Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy both look fantastic just like we remember them, and are definitely still a must-play for all, as well for the fans who just want to be reminded of these titles in the best possible way.

With an accelerated combat system, some light grind and well-designed monsters, Monster Hunter Rise will provide you with many hours of adrenaline-filled fun. The experience that this game provides in multiplayer is unique, regardless of the complicated formation of the party. Definitely a version that every PC gamer should have in their Steam library.

The first God of War game has officially arrived on PC in all its glory. New graphics settings make this three-year-old game still beautiful, and the action can stand side by side with games in today's market. Whether you are an old fan, or have never played a God of War game before, this version is the perfect package for all types of gamers.

The huge community of farmers/players gathered around this series does not need any special recommendations, suffice it to say that the game now looks better and brings a couple of new possibilities to the old tried and tested formula. Better graphics, new maps, seasons, and new farming "disciplines" will be more than enough reason to re-enter your favorite farming simulation. And if you are new to the series, the 2022. version undoubtedly represents a very good starting position thanks to tutorials that have also matured well from season to season.

If you have already played Final Fantasy VII Remake on the PlayStation, then we can hardly recommend this port, the only exception being if you are a “PC purist” that also loves a good JRPG along the way. If that is the case, you will finally have the opportunity to try this achievement of a game and see for yourself why fans of the seventh instalment of the long-running JRPG series were so thrilled with this remake a few years ago.

I can imagine countless real-life situations where the skills acquired in this game would really help or at least make your life easier. Your brain is at stake here - you carry it everywhere you go (I guess) and use it every day! In the end, I can only applaud Nintendo again for managing to make something creative and fun from the simplest ideas, and in this case, actually useful.

The long-forgotten point & click classic Beneath a Steel Sky finally gets a sequel that takes us back to a completely different time in many ways. After many years, Revolution Software is demonstrating that they are still able to create an exciting story based on old fears about the future that are even more relevant today than before. Even new players who are not familiar with the previous instalment will get a very well-rounded story and experience, but they will still have to invest a little more than in other today's derivatives of the once-popular genre.

The fourth and sixth instalments are most often cited as the highlights of the 2D series, while five was always considered a weird Japanese game with a job system that few have played. However, from today's point of view, especially after playing the great Pixel Remaster version, I can say that Final Fantasy V is perhaps the purest classic JRPG experience in the series and a collection of all the best ideas from the 2D era. If you like this series and the genre in general, don’t skip on this one. Thank me later!

Battlefield 2042 adds little in the new department and takes away a lot from the old. Without leaning onto the presupposed Portal community, having in mind the lack of an actual campaign and overall lack of technical stability, you have very little reason to be interested in Battlefield 2042

After almost 20 years we finally have a sequel to the 2D series of Metroid games! Considering that, Dread does a great job of combining the new modern combat with the old elements of research and advancement, and it doesn't hurt that we have some of the best boss fights in the series. A true gem and a must have for all Switch gamers.
