With a simple storyline, easy gameplay mechanics, and the overall appeal of the game, you can't go wrong with Tennis in the Face.

Idle Evolution is an educational simulation game set in the distant past where you’re tasked with collecting elements and evolving them into compounds that will change and evolve your planet into a utopia. Filled with interesting trivia, it gives players a lot to work towards and learn as they go.

    iO
With so many mediocre platforming games flooding stores these days, it’s refreshing to see something unique. Although at face value iO seems quite bare, the challenging level design and interesting mechanics make it worth a look at if you like puzzles.

Overall I think The Purring Quest is a great 2D adventure platformer that you will pick up for a few hours and just have fun with. While it doesn't have much of a story, what is there does make you feel the emotions the game is showing and you will still crack a smile at the end.

Overall, this is a game that I quickly became immersed in and one of the few review games that I will continue to play and replay even after my review is finished!

Overall, Thimbleweed Park is a great game which is elevated by its story rather than its mechanics. While selecting commands is a novel concept, younger players will be frustrated by the gameplay. Many will want to give up because it can take several minutes to decipher which combination of words and items work. However, the dialogue choices and quirky nature of the game may overcome that. Only time will tell.

It stands out from the typical racing game you see today and it’s much more affordable. Although I have some minor complaints, its strengths greatly outweigh them.

Sine Mora EX is a must-have for bullet hell enthusiasts, but more importantly it beckons newcomers to the genre to have a go. Sure, it’ll beat you down with its brutal difficulty, but somehow you’ll always come back for more.

Farming Simulator 17, as with most simulation games, will not be for everyone. If you are a fan of the Farming Simulator series, this year’s version is not majorly different than previous versions, but there are enough graphical and tactile upgrades to keep returning players interested. Many bugs have been fixed too. New players may enjoy the planning, management and logistics of owning and running a farm. Either way, Farming Simulator 17 is now the best way to play a farming simulation game.

Batman: The Telltale Series still has a ways to go before it can prove that it can live up to its potential, but the first episode has the series off to a good start. The ending offers a fantastic twist that leaves me intrigued for where the story will go next, and I eagerly await episode two.

Ninja Pizza Girl tries to make a fun game that tackles important issues like self-esteem and bullying, and fully succeeds. Once I picked up Ninja Pizza Girl, I rarely put it down.

Batman: The Enemy Within is off to another strong start to Telltale’s take on the series. Not everything quite worked, like Riddler’s role within the story, but I have faith that everything will be explained in the coming episodes. The introduction of Waller could mean trouble, but it’s that ‘could’ that makes me excited to see where the story goes. With powerful allies and enemies on the chess board, and pieces that have yet to come into play, Telltale is gearing up to push Bruce past his limits.

The decision to lock both games at 30 FPS is a poor one in my opinion and maybe just keeping the original assets and increasing the frame rate would’ve served the collection well.

Among the Sleep executed this flawlessly, and it combines this aspect with a wonderful journey through the dreams and life of a child. I would recommend this game to anyone who’s looking for an experience that will leave you with goosebumps, and a story that will leave you wanting more.

Killing Floor 2 is a joy to play and while it is made far better with friends, it does fail to deliver a worthwhile single player experience. Call up your squad of friends however, and Killing Floor 2 is a masterpiece of chaos as you cut your way through wave after wave of the toughest zeds as they struggle to overwhelm you. Killing Floor 2 is a bloody mess, and it’s a bloody good one too.

A significant frame drop issue, flat storyline, and obsolete menus cause vexation, but only because they devalue what is an otherwise splendid adventure.

Definitely unique. It's more of a DLC than an expansion, but the new Mech challenges grant you some upgraded powers to unlock. It doesn't completely overhaul the game like Sky Fortress, but it contains excellent additions that simply beg you to try them out for the excitement factor alone.

One of the funniest games you can play with your friends, either locally or with your Xbox Live friends. Even if you play against the AI bots by yourself you will get some fun, or get some real challenge if you choose the Extreme AI bots difficulty.

A great game despite its flaws. The campaign could be more but still manages to be a great experience if you look past the first few missions. Multiplayer is a blast and makes up for the inadequacies found in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. If you're a fan of Call of Duty, this will appeal to you. While the formula doesn't take risks, it still works.

Candleman is a special indie game that has a lot of heart. Its story is surprisingly dark, no pun intended, but it seeks to offer an insightful life lesson, much like Spotlightor hoped to achieve with its games. Through solid platforming sections with a touching journey, it is easily worth peoples’ time, who may learn just how precious that is once they play this title.
