Despite all its faults, Saturday Morning RPG is a joy to play and while it's not the longest experience, it should keep you entertained for each moment that you play. You’ll love it for the references, then for the strategy. If not that, then for the ace combat. If you are looking for a game that drips 80s charm, then this is it.

A great game which stays true to the original while also innovating by offering a campaign and new ways to destroy ships. Some of the “weapons” are your disposal are quite powerful and significantly change the game.

Pang Adventures is a challenging blast of nostalgia from the past that brings enough new mechanics to give the Pang series a fresh feel without taking it too far from the spirit of the original concept.

The writing itself isn’t exceptional but it moves the story along, and the combat itself is a highlight that just about anyone could have fun with.

My impressions of Jotun: Valhalla Edition are overwhelmingly positive. While I feel the levels are sparsely populated, the boss battles more than make up for the slow-paced path. The game controlled and ran perfectly on the system. The beautiful art style and amazing sound design built an incredible world that should not be overlooked.

Overall, Level 22: Gary’s Misadventures was a fun game to play through that I’d definitely recommend to people who enjoy simple stealth games.

The Ezio Collection isn’t an impressive remaster and it definitely shows its age, but these games, especially Assassin’s Creed 2, were some of the best when they originally released. A new coat of paint doesn’t change that.

Despite these issues, I absolutely loved forma.8. It is a perfect example of the kind of unique content indie developers can offer without sacrificing aesthetics or an immersive environment. There are a few small kinks in the game, but it is absolutely a must-have!

Toy Odyssey: The Lost and Found is a great game if you can look past the flaws. If I were to bring up a complaint apart from the basic story, it would be that the combat feels a little clunky in the beginning when you don’t have many abilities and advanced weaponry. Despite that, it’s still an expansive roguelike experience that people who like the genre must play. You’ll love it if you adore games like Bard’s Gold and Rogue Legacy.

Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight is a great game despite its short length and difficulty. It requires skill and patience so don’t expect a casual platformer. It’s polished, beautiful and really reminds you why smaller games are so important to any console.

1979 Revolution: Black Friday is a great game that gives an in-depth look at one of the many revolutions that occurred in Iran. Looking at the technical aspect of the game, it does have a few flaws. But since the main objective of the game is to go into more detail regarding what happened and how things were during this revolution, I must be honest and say that it serves its purpose well.

In all, Episode 3 of Hitman stays faithful to the quality standards of the previous episodes and has quite astonishing graphic improvements. However, the stealth required has also increased drastically, limiting possible creative playstyles. Nonetheless, it is still a great chapter that offers all you expect of a Hitman game.

New World Order serves as a great middle episode that starts off a little clumsily but ends on a high note. Telltale’s compelling writing of this cast of well-known characters is commendable and I can’t wait to see how their story unfolds.

Bulletstorm is a mostly unchanged experience from its original 2011 iteration. The upgraded visuals are definitely a sight to behold, but for those who have already played through People Can Fly’s over-the-top FPS, there isn’t much to gain here.

Though Ubisoft could have easily played it safe by focusing on any of their existing franchises, in choosing to develop a new IP, they created an admirable fighting game with thrilling action. Its single-player campaign is satisfactory at best, but it works as a great training tool to familiarize yourself with the characters and controls. Where For Honor truly shines is in its savage battles and multiplayer, as rough as the servers may be.

Paperash has created one of the deepest and most interesting puzzle games on PC in a while, with a narrative that does not just rest on its laurels after players glance through a single page of lore. The game offers thorough backstory, giving both casual gamers and hardcore puzzle fans something that not only offers a challenge but also offers something easy to dig into. The game's art style brilliantly mixes the Arcanum look with brilliant sound effects similar to those found in Limbo, bringing you one of the most decent indie titles I've seen on Steam. Although the game is currently only on PC, I wouldn't mind seeing it on Xbox One in the future as well.

It tells a complex but intelligent story. It utilizes art design to enhance the gameplay. It uses sound design to terrify the player. And it delivers it all in an easily digestible package with replay value. I would consider Claire an excellent entry into the horror game genre.

While the “cause and effect” mechanics may not be as fleshed out as in modern titles like The Witcher 3, The Technomancer blends enough new qualities with vintage attributes in order to create an authentic world and a whole bunch of electric fun.

Maldita Castilla is fun, enjoyable and one of those games that will really give you something to work towards, and when you do defeat that boss in the game, you feel like you actually achieved something worthy of that achievement, even if they don't give you one.
