Even though Kingdom can be very frustrating at times - especially in the beginning when you have no clue what to do or what to expect - it’s also one of those “sucks, I died AGAIN. Let’s just try ONE more time!” games.- Hooked Gamers

As a love letter to the nostalgia of the ‘80s cartoon, despite its high points the game feels fleeting and leaves you wishing for the full potential of the licence to be realised.- Hooked Gamers

Armikrog is a fun little puzzler. The puzzles are reasonably enjoyable and the visual style is just lovely. But the game just seems to lack a little polish, primarily in the inventory system and the story.- Hooked Gamers

For a somewhat monochromic looking game that only has you moving a pink geometric shape through a series of concentric mazes, Expand is highly addictive.- Hooked Gamers

For now, Sublevel Zero is a game that has at once reminded me how much I love space combat, whilst at the same time introduced me to a whole new, old genre of game. Though story and presentation are a little rough, the gameplay and core mechanics are such that I’ll keep coming back over and over again.- Hooked Gamers

But the game’s strongest point is the writing. It is just superb and perfectly works with the other elements present in the game. It is so utterly unapologetic about what it’s doing that you can’t help but find it just a little bit enjoyable.- Hooked Gamers

Thankfully for Samurai Warriors 4-II, the core of the game works well enough that despite its flaws it’s still a very, very fun game.- Hooked Gamers

If you want a punishing but fun experience, you may yet consider booking your suite at Skyhill. If you can push on through all the frustrations, all the randomly generated 'F-You' moments you'll have to endure, and every inevitable death just to get a little further each time, then Skyhill is your game. If you can't, well, then you probably aren't a roguelike fan anyway.- Hooked Gamers

If you’re a die-hard strategy fan looking for something different, or if you thought Theme Hospital was fun but lacked shivving and power drill-wielding inmates, then this game is definitely worth a look.- Hooked Gamers

Overall, Jotun is a very visual game with a very memorable art style that offers a well rounded combat system in a setting that does its best to stay true to its real-life inspirations but finds itself lacking in the plot department which is a genuine shame because it's clear that Thunder Lotus Games put a lot of time and passion into this kick-starter funded project.- Hooked Gamers

Grand Ages: Medieval rewards strategists, people who like to plan ahead and like to take time to sit back and oversee the big picture before deciding what to do next. Micromanagement is not required, just encouraged, and optimizing town wealth, output and growth through trade can be a fun challenge all by itself.- Hooked Gamers

Zombi is a decent port, and although I had some struggles early on coming to terms with the keyboard and mouse controls (especially in the inventory and during combat), I did enjoy running through (and below) the streets of London.- Hooked Gamers

For two guys releasing their very first game they could have done a lot worse and I applaud them because although what they made wasn’t scary, it was actually kind of fun.- Hooked Gamers

It may be short-lived and a little rough around the edges here and there, but Planet of the Eyes is a game that balances just the right level of challenge with story to create a decent experience for players looking for a quick fix.- Hooked Gamers

Plenty of games in this style come out all the time on Steam, but it’s quite rare we get a gem. Sadly, Red Goddess: Inner World has to be added to the pile along with all the other standard action platformers. Frustration occurs at regular intervals, whether it be to the platforming, the combat or the game just not working. Rage, indeed.- Hooked Gamers

Kojima and his team saved the best for last, bringing the long running story of Big Boss to a close with a bang in gameplay, though a slightly stumbling run in the story. Despite that, the Phantom Pain a must play.- Hooked Gamers

The setting is lovely, with nature taking hold of the waterlogged city. The day night cycles add a living atmosphere to the setting, and the appearance of the sea monsters add some further drama to the story. And although I loved the telling of the stories and the landscape in which Miku finds herself, there isn't quite enough variation in gameplay to keep players interested for longer than necessary.- Hooked Gamers

It’s a game that can, and should be, completed in one sitting, and one that’s sure to stick with you, either for its unique mechanics or dazzling watercolor environments, after the story concludes.- Hooked Gamers

Crookz: The Big Heist is a game with a lot of options, but not enough of a sandbox to use them all in. A bit of the unknown would be nice to liven up the action a bit.- Hooked Gamers
