Football Manager 2017 is the best soccer manager simulator ever, but its new features are not good enough to forget its predecessor.

Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town is a wonderful return to the past that gives a good facelift to the original Game Boy Advance game. Despite not taking risks, its formula is very successful and delighted to all lovers of farm simulators, management and RPGs.

Borderlands 4 establishes itself as a well-rounded entry that offers updated and tremendously fun gameplay. A lackluster campaign and a somewhat generic open world prevent it from reaching its full potential, but this is a looter shooter capable of standing alongside the best in the genre.

One of the most spectacular fighting games ever made, with game dynamics that may appeal to any player... Although its main focus is online gaming. It may feel a little too shallow in content.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm presents itself without riddles, but with purity, to offer us an excellent narrative adventure that helps us to complement Chloe's story and other holes of Arcadia Bay's life. Despite its shorter duration, it has not lost its charm. The extra episode, Farewell, will thrill you to tears.

For a debut game, my sincere applause to Ironwood Studios. Not only they have taken roguelite formula to new highs, integrating driving, deep survival mechanics and a captivating science fiction story, which gives sense to their original world. Despite the bugs or the fact that the roguelite formula doesn't appeal to you, it has "something".

It's the same formula as in the first game, but this time we have much more content and many more things to do, including online battles. Yo-kai Watch 2 consolidates this franchise as the best alternative to Pokémon.

Monster Hunter Stories provides fresh air to the Monster Hunter saga with a formula in which humor, turn-based fighting and raising Monsties are the main components. Might not work for bitter fans, but if you are looking for a casual and fun JRPG or you have never played a Monster Hunter game, you'll love it.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales will dazzle the fans of the universe thanks, especially, to its elaborate and evocative story. And the charisma that Meve lavishes, the protagonist of the game. Reorder the bases of Gwent to provide more packaging to the exciting battles for house brand cards.

Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition is a remaster that few people asked for, but it offers good technical improvements, adds new content and brings us a little closer to Beyond Good & Evil 2. If you've never played it you should give it a chance and if you did, it never hurts to enjoy it again if you're a fan of the series.

Patapon 2 was really good in its orignal form, so in 4K it looks even better. The same sticky sounds, its fun gameplay, its many secrets and mechanics with depth ... It is still a great game to claim, although it is true that the remaster neglects some aspects, such as scenes that have not been remastered.

Eastward pays tribute to the 90s adventures, mixing ideas from different titles, but keeping its own style. A little gem in the visual department that can entertain you for 25 hours or more, that now, thanks to the latest patch with the Spanish and German translation and all the improvements made, makes the adventure more accessible than ever.

After inheriting the Banjo-Kazooei's 3D environmental platforming DNA, now Yooka y Laylee goes behind the 2D skin of Donkey and Diddy Kong. The chamaleonic Playtonic proves their mastery going back to its Rare legacy, offering a very sweet and enjoyable platform game that tastes like classic honey.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 lands on Switch with a "deluxe edition" that keeps all the pros and cons from the original release: a huge amount of content, repetitive gameplay mechanics and missions, varied modes, faithful visuals to the anime... A game that fits perfectly on Switch, and it's highly enjoyable "on the go".

Owlboy arrives on Nintendo Switch (and PS4 y Xbox One) retaining all its charm and beautiful pixel art that make it an indie hit in 2016. It's a nice adventure that shines in its characters and writing, but if fells short in playing time, collectibles and use of the world. At least, you can now enjoy this little gem anywhere.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD remains a fabulous 2D platformer that retains and expands on the magic of Rare's games: if you haven't played it on Wii and you like the genre, you should, as it's the best version of it yet. But at the same time, as an HD update, it's hard to shake the feeling that it could have offered something more.

It gives players freedom to play and progress the way they want, and, even if you'll miss some features from previous games, it offers even better control and a superior recreation of the rally race atmosphere.

No More Heroes 3 delivers on the things we would expect from Suda51: a kinetic and addictive combat system that ends up overshadowed by the creative liberties and eccentricities of its creator, leaving a fun but uneven gameplay experience. But the constant experimentation makes this a stimulating and surprising game.
