It's not a groundbreaking game, but it's an iteration that better knows how to please the fans of the franchise. A good narrative and charming characters help us to uncover the mysteries of London in spite of the bugs we find here and there.

Fast Racing Neo is a great replacement for F-Zero on Wii U. Its type of arcade racing is not very common these days.

BlazBlue saga continues with Central Fiction: new characters, new moves, great story mode and the same ultra-complex gameplay mechanics. Plenty of modes and possibilities but you'll end up having fun only if you're a fighting games master. We missed the new Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator 3D engine on this new BlazBlue, that shows 2D characters.

Guacamelee! 2 keeps the essence of the first entry and takes it a little further thanks to new powers, enemies, levels, humor and winks. Although there are some sections more difficult and small screen failures playing cooperatively, it's one of the best action and 2D platforms proposals of the year.

Bigger, better and refined, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the definitive versions of Sun and Moon. There's some déjà vu feeling with the story, but that doesn't neglect that these games offer tons of content, and that they serve as a great farewell for the series before jumping to the Switch.

One of the breeziest, funniest platforming games that we remember in a long time. If you love frantic heroes and explosive jumps, go for it.

An excellent balance between old school adventures and what we expect from the modern times. If you are not afraid of challenges with a glimpse of complexity, you'll find a colorful, enjoyable adventure.

An unmissable pack for fans of old-school fighting, with a great selection of genre classics. Some had aged better than others, tough.

One of the most beautiful and striking games of the year and a sure bet for any run and gun fan. It could use more content, but it's a blast while it lasts.

Hotline Miami 2 is "more of the same", a sequel that offers the very same elements from the original: violence, non-stop action, a high level of difficulty, a compelling storyline, polished pixel art and an unforgettable soundtrack. Based on these foundations, Wrong Number adds very little (new situations, new enemies...) but it doesn't need anything else. It is as fun and addictive as hell. If you loved the first one, you won't be disappointed.

F1 2021 is a great racing game, specially once you move into the car and feel the excellent handling and the great performance. Modes (specially Braking Point and classic content) could have been better, but you will feel like Hamilton and Verstappen racing each other for the victory.

Darksiders Genesis looked like another Diablo clone, but it has its own personality and is a Darksiders with a different perspective. It's fun, has a component of RPG and platform game and, despite its problems, is a great new game of the saga created by Madureira brothers.

One of the best musical experiences you can enjoy on Vita. Maybe its visuals aren't as polished as those seen in Persona 4 Dancing All Night. Maybe it lacks some game modes but as pure gameplay, it's one of the best and most entertaining rhythm games you can find on a portable system right now. But, as usual with this kind of games, consider first the kind of music you like: if you are more on the guitar hero vein, maybe its K-Pop (and other genres as electronic, r&b or metal) won't fit with your tastes.

Luigi's Mansion 2 HD may not be at the level of other remasters and remakes like Metroid Prime Remastered or Paper Mario: The Millennial Door, but even that doesn't stop it from remaining a timeless classic that is worth discovering if you haven't played it on Nintendo 3DS ...or revive, if you already did.

This is the best version of the classic game, with controls updated and in HD, for a reasonable price. Nevertheless sometimes graphics feel "old".

Requiem is a great sequel, bigger and better than the original game in every aspect (storyline, gameplay mechanics and technical aspects). It truly feels like a Triple A game, but it has lost that fresh feeling we had when we first played Innocence.

Shovel Knigh Dig is another success in the universe of created by Yacht Club Games, a roguelite that, without straying too far from the formula of the genre and what we have seen in other Shovel games, manages to give it a twist to make it feel fresh. And it succeeds. Guaranteed joy for lovers of the most agile and casual roguelite.

F1 2016 marks the return of Formula 1 to the podium of the racing genre, after two weak games. The handling is ‘made in Codemasters’ and the sense of immersion has increased because of details such as the safety car or the manual starts from the grid.

The Old Hunters is what every other DLC should be: fresh, challenging and full of quality content, and one that doesn't feel as if ripped from the main game. Nightmares never felt so delightful.

The Sexy Brutale is a highly unique game. It's like a Clue game, but the entire environment is a puzzle. We already know who the killer is, but we have to stop every murder. The art is gorgeous and it's a great start for Cavalier Game Studios.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess for Nintendo Switch 2 is a remarkable port for one of the hidden gems of 2024 and one of Capcom's games with more personality. While there are some cuts in graphics and optimization, the action and strategy proposal is enjoyed just as well as on other platforms.

Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak elevates the possibilities of the base game with an expansion packed with content and improvements that further sharpen the refreshing gameplay we already knew. Despite the fact that there could be more monsters and it lacks the grandiloquence of Iceborne, this expansion is a must buy for any hunter.
