A visually striking HD-2D action adventure with flexible combat, time-travel exploration, and clear nods to classic Zelda games. It does not reinvent the formula, but its weapons, magicites, and Faie’s abilities keep the journey engaging.- HardZone

Marathon is a tense and demanding extraction shooter where Bungie’s excellent gunplay and strong sci-fi identity shine, especially on PS5. Its harsh progression and steep learning curve make it difficult to recommend to everyone, but Season 2 adds meaningful improvements, new content and better onboarding that push the game in the right direction.- HardZone

Hollowbody understands what makes classic survival horror compelling, blending psychological horror, exploration, and old-school mechanics. However, technical issues, weak melee combat, and an uneven level of polish ultimately prevent its strong ideas from reaching their full potential.- HardZone

World of Tanks: HEAT successfully reimagines Wargaming’s classic tank warfare as a faster, more accessible tactical vehicle shooter. Its Agents, abilities and objective-based modes give the formula a welcome hero-shooter edge, although its long-term appeal will depend on balance, progression and post-launch support.- HardZone

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is TT Games’ most ambitious LEGO title yet. Its blend of classic LEGO humor with Arkham-inspired combat and exploration works surprisingly well, backed by a massive Gotham City packed with fan service and references to Batman’s history. While some side activities become repetitive and minor technical issues remain, this is easily one of the best Batman games recently, and arguably the best LEGO game ever made by TT Games.- HardZone

007 First Light introduces us to a young, inexperienced James Bond while staying true to the essence of the film franchise. The story is gripping, the soundtrack is pure epic, and although it can feel quite linear and as if you’re being “led by the hand” the whole time, overall it’s an outstanding game that keeps you glued to the screen, eager to find out what happens next.- HardZone

Supermassive Games leaves haunted houses and slashers behind to embrace cosmic horror in Directive 8020, a deep-space adventure heavily inspired by Alien and The Thing. The result is the studio's smartest branching narrative to date and its most beautiful production, held back only by repetitive stealth sequences and a few rough technical edges.- HardZone

Forza Horizon 6 takes the Horizon formula to its most ambitious point yet. Japan is a perfect fit for the series, delivering a far more varied, vertical, and character-rich map than previous entries. Playground Games doesn’t reinvent the franchise, but it successfully addresses several of its most noticeable shortcomings with a better-structured progression system, a more engaging open world, and stunning audiovisual presentation.- HardZone

Pragmata is Capcom's new IP that has impressed us with next-generation graphics and a science fiction story that is as cryptic as it is intriguing, centered around AI. It's one of those titles that grabs you from the very beginning and you can't stop playing.- HardZone

A heartfelt return for Max and Chloe that leans on strong storytelling and an outstanding soundtrack, even if its gameplay remains familiar. Not revolutionary, but a solid and emotional entry that fans of the series will truly appreciate.- HardZone

A solid collection that brings back one of the most unique Mega Man sub-series, with enough improvements and content to justify its return, though overshadowed by the lack of Spanish language support.- HardZone

Screamer (2026) reimagines the classic arcade racer with a bold anime-inspired identity and a unique twin-stick driving system enhanced by the ECHO mechanics, delivering fast, stylish, and surprisingly strategic races. While its accessible gameplay, strong audiovisual direction, and fresh combat elements stand out, the narrative remains secondary and the overall depth feels limited for its premium price. It’s a distinctive and entertaining arcade experience, but one that may not fully justify its cost for all players.- HardZone

StarRupture blends exploration, base building, and automation into a cohesive survival experience set on a hostile alien world. Its progression from early survival to large-scale factory management feels natural and rewarding, even in its current Early Access state. While some systems still need polish, the core gameplay loop is already solid and engaging. It’s a promising title with clear potential to grow into a standout within the genre. Raiders of Blackveil is a cooperative roguelite action game that embraces simplicity and consistency over ambition. It delivers fast, accessible sessions focused on steady progression, teamwork, and stress-free combat, clearly inspired by MOBA-style mechanics without their usual competitive pressure. While it doesn’t stand out for originality or spectacle, everything it does is executed correctly and with clear intent. It’s a solid, therapeutic experience designed to be enjoyed casually, especially with friends. [Early Access Score = 61]- HardZone

Code Vein II is an ambitious sequel that expands the original formula with time travel, a broader world and a more direct narrative, though not all of its ideas fully come together. It refines combat and customization while clearly drawing inspiration from Elden Ring, sometimes at the cost of pacing and world density. Overall, it’s a solid and enjoyable soulslike, especially for fans of the first game, but not a genre-defining release.- HardZone

Crisol: Theater of Idols is a striking Spanish horror game that blends BioShock-inspired design with religious symbolism and Andalusian folklore, delivering a tense and oppressive atmosphere from start to finish. Its bold blood-as-ammo mechanic and strong artistic direction make it a memorable, if demanding, narrative-driven experience at a surprisingly accessible price.- HardZone

Nioh 3 successfully evolves the series by blending its hardcore souls-like roots with improved accessibility and a visually stunning combat system. While the time-traveling narrative and semi-open world can feel repetitive, the depth of customization and fluid mechanics make it the most refined entry to date.- HardZone

Gear.Club Unlimited 3 brings licensed arcade racing to Nintendo Switch 2, offering an accessible experience across the scenic roads of Japan and France. While the visuals and club management mechanics shine, a lack of launch content and stripped-back multiplayer make it feel like a step backward from its predecessor. It is a solid choice for solo racers, though it still needs post-launch polish to reach its full potential.- HardZone

Crimson Desert is an ambitious open-world RPG that successfully blends fast-paced combat, deep gameplay systems, and a vast, living world into one cohesive experience. Despite a sometimes confusing narrative and a few frustrating encounters, its depth, technical performance, and sheer amount of content make it one of the most impressive releases of the year, and a strong contender for Game of the Year.- HardZone
