The game is very realistic, keeping scoring down, but lost is some of the fun that comes from chaos in front of the net.- Happy Puppy

A revolutionary title, but terrible AI holds it back from being one of the best games of the year.- Happy Puppy

The strongest, most-polished game in the series, but it is definitely a sequel.- Happy Puppy

Some console role-players might just find this style of deep preparation and chess-like battle sequences too sluggish. Strategists who have been truly bored by trying to play "Panzer General" or even "X-Com" on a TV screen, however, will appreciate how much lush graphics, soundtrack, and effects can goose up a wargaming system.- Happy Puppy

It's not pretty, and the sounds may drive you batty. However, if you can get past the primitive and cutesy graphics, you'll find a fun and addictive experience that offers an enjoyable--and certainly more cerebral--PS2 experience that's currently unmatched.- Happy Puppy

This game managed to capture the feel of those rat-tailed days, without putting my older and fatter body at risk.- Happy Puppy

Winning Ring of Red could take nearly as long as quashing a real world war, but hey, at least it's a nuclear blast all the way up to that pesky peace declaration.- Happy Puppy

This story is addictive, the gameplay is exciting, and make no mistake about it: Ogre Battle 64 is a role-playing game of no small merit.- Happy Puppy

The funny thing is that the makers of this game actually guarantee to improve your real pool game. Speaking from experience, their claim turns out to be true, and spending a good amount of time on VP3 is analogous to attending a billiards clinic.- Happy Puppy

Upping the slob factor, you can now select "slacker" as an occupation, lower the neatness factor, and voila! Suddenly you've got your own Richard Linklater movie.- Happy Puppy

The eye-catching graphics, tight control, and enjoyable gameplay of this fine game really caught me by surprise. To all the PS2 users disappointed with the system's lackluster games, I highly suggest picking this title up.- Happy Puppy

Although incredibly entertaining, unique, surprising, and well designed in nearly every respect, "Seaman" is not perfect, revealing many of the current limitations of voice-recognition software.- Happy Puppy

The pace of the action is generally heart pounding, and that's a good thing. On the down side, the missions are either too short or too initially implausible.- Happy Puppy

A no-nonsense boxing sim, which means that if you're dog-tired, you may have to go an entire round without throwing a punch just to get your wind back. This may seem ho-hum to "Street Fighter EX 3" fans, but for the hardcore boxing crowd, this degree of realism is the next best thing to a title unification bout.- Happy Puppy

Forget what you think you know about the oval-track monotony and unbreakable silliness of console racing games; Jarrett and Labonte obviously did before attaching their names to this wonderful, visceral racer, and we're all better off for it.- Happy Puppy
