Around every corner, there’s a crab that’s fluent in Spanish, or a Pizza Box that laughs at you maniacally. Sure, there are a few duds and it doesn’t always hit the mark, but developer Necrophone Games bang out the gags at a rate befitting of a Python.

Probably the best way to get into the series, and the best way to bring yourself back up to speed before Kingdom hearts 3 is released.

I’m glad Nintendo finally got around to letting Project Guard see the light of day. It’s a fun and unique gamepad experience that gets better the further you get into it.

That last comparison probably best sums up RIDE, as it’s what it clearly wants to be: Gran Turismo for motorcycles. And the funny thing is it really works.

Shredders is not as challenging as I was expecting, and whilst this limits its overall longevity, it's accessible, laid back and fun to play.

Chinatown Detective Agency is sometimes a little too clever for its own good, but it's well written and charming with it. If you can overlook the issues with the save system, it's well worth a look.

Monster Energy Supercross 4 is definite step up for the series, with a robust Career mode that provides you with plenty to do. The Compound is a great mode to practice in, and the handling has certainly improved since the last outing of the series.

Apart from some at times tiny writing on the Switch handheld, Fury Unleashed looks sublime, has riffage for days, and represents an excellent run and gun wormhole to disappear down.

Hitman Go is a rare breed in mobile games because it doesn’t try to copy another popular title, or provide a lazy spin-off from its source material. In fact, it manages to take an existing license and apply it to an entirely new genre, whilst still managing to maintain the spirit of the original.
