The improvements to the handling, performance, visuals, and sound make DIRT 5 on PS5 the ultimate version of the game. If you're still on the fence about getting it, you're missing out.

Despite being a fun, challenging platformer, The End is Nigh is too similar to Super Meat Boy and the comparison does it no favours whatsoever. It does work very well on Switch though, especially in handheld mode.

A decent strategy puzzle-RPG that displays all the good bits and mitigates the bad ones, pip pip.

If you’re new to Mega Man this is probably the best place to start, excellent games and a great system to ease you into what can be something very unforgiving.

It’s nice to have Monster Hunter on the Switch, but those coming in fresh off the back of Monster Hunter World may be in for a rude awakening.

It remains close to the spirit of the series in many ways – even throwing in a handful of in-jokes and references to characters and locations from Season One – but in other ways it seems to veer away sharply from what we expect.

I haven't played anything like this since Journey. It is a stunning game to explore and exist in, and the story is going to move a lot of people.

It's a real pleasure to play through three games that defined a console, and seeing Crash on PS4 is great. He's finally home, and right where he should be.

The Switch port is great in handheld mode. In fact, that seems to be a trend with many indie releases where they focus on the handheld aspect and the docked output is sub native. Volgarr could look sharper docked but there hasn’t been a patch to address this since launch. On handheld it looks great and plays well. Volgarr in general feels like a recreation of a very old game with some modern mechanics added for a fun experience. It will take you a ton of effort to get the best ending though.

If you can take the difficulty on the chin, you'll experience a broad range of top-notch puzzles, that are well-executed and overlaid with a cheeky, playful tone. Rolling a ball around around a level shouldn't be this much fun.

As for content, sadly both this version and Resident Evil 0 along with it have arrived onto Switch with no new console specific content. For example, this version doesn’t make use of the motion control functionality that the Switch can provide which means that this version is simply a straight port of the previous remastered versions, and as such my biggest issue is the pricing. My opinion will always be that Resident Evil is absolutely worth playing, however unless the issue of portability is your main driver for choosing this version then you are perhaps better served playing it on another platform.
