No Man’s Sky sits comfortably next to the best ports on the platform. Of course it doesn’t sing quite as beautifully as the most high-powered console versions, but really, when you can planet hop in a decked out space ship while having a number two, who cares? Absolute wizardry.

The Frog Detective Trilogy is a joyous and silly collection of games, that are the perfect palette cleanser after playing something serious.

Even if you're not a fan of the mainline franchise, BlazBlue: Entropy Effect will appeal if you like a good side-scrolling action game.

Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley completely surprised me, and thanks to its gorgeous world and varied activities is a top notch cozy game.

Threshold is a clever game that does so much with what's available, featuring some great ideas, an eerie environment, and engaging story.

A genuine visual upgrade and the multiplayer being 60fps means there's every reason for fans and newcomers to enjoy this package. Ultimate Edition reminds us of why Gears of War is so beloved.

Atelier Ryza 3: The Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key is a wonderful sequel with great pacing, but the Switch version does have issues.

Chivalry 2 is an excellent large-scale multiplayer game with enough humour, mission types and classes to appeal to any fan of medieval warfare.

I hope they patch these issues out because the game itself with progression, content, and the lovely gameplay is well worth checking out. You can download it for free and check out the basics. Out of the licensed tables, I love the Back to the Future one and have been playing mostly on that one.

In all the ways that matter, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is simply the best franchise entry we’ve had in a few years.

Where episode one faltered with pacing, episode two is an almost relentless barrage of action, barely giving you time to breathe. The only real problem with this is that Smoke & Mirrors flies by and is over before you know it, making you desperate for episode three.

AI issues aside, Slightly Mad Studios has put together an astoundingly deep racing simulator with an enormous amount of content.

Katamari Damacy REROLL is a great puzzler, with one of the weirdest concepts of all time. It still holds up on today's consoles, but the visuals are still a far cry from what you may be used to sixteen years later.

SUPERHOT is a short game, but it's sweet and burns brightly while it's with you. It's inventive, clever, addictive, fun, and yes I'll say it: it's cool.

The bottom line is that Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is two fantastic shooters, each worthy of your time, with a ton of DLC and polished up to look their best.

Don’t be a conformist, grab this one and indulge in the stupid toilet humour and dick jokes that it possesses. One of the best games of 2014 so far.
