Just Dance 2022 may be familiar, and it may bring little that's new to the table, but it's still a hell of a lot of fun.

Lies of P is a staggering achievement for Neowiz, and one of the very best "non-FromSoft" Soulslikes I've ever played.

With Marvel's Midnight Suns, Firaxis has ripped out the insides of its own machine and replaced it with an Adamantium skeleton, then given it a little hotrod-red for the hell of it.

If you’ve never played Dynasty Warriors 8 before, this release is absolutely a must buy if you enjoy the Warriors games. If you’ve never played a Warriors game before, look into Fire Emblem Warriors or Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition. While those two games are overflowing with superb content, DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends Definitive Edition is the first non Nintendo Warriors release that is an easy recommendation for me not only for the great content but also in terms of how good it plays on the Switch.

Give in to that inner-child and enjoy what is a terrific, entertaining game that absolutely anyone will love, because this is easily the best Skylanders game to date.

More of the same it may be, but when it’s this much fun, no one is going to complain.

Loading times are a minor niggle though, and while the single player does fall a little bit flat it does a good job of educating you on weapon usage and game mechanics. But, let’s face it, multiplayer is where Worms has always shined and it’s no different here. Get a bunch of friends together and duke it out; it gets a bit chaotic with more than four people playing, but with friends chaos is fun.

The RPG elements are still too confusing and convoluted, too, but much like in 2012, Theatrhythm is a fun, heart-warming piece of fan service that offers better value for money than before, while giving fans plenty of museum-based goodies to explore and reminisce over.

A huge, ambitious game building on the solid foundations of Origins to deliver a game that feels like another positive step towards a very interesting future for the franchise.

Put simply, it’s old school platforming done right, a wonderful alternative to Mario that is definitely worth adding to any Wii U owners’ collection.

Circa Infinity is a great puzzle platformer that has me utterly addicted to it in a way I haven't felt since Super Hexagon.

Chess will always be chess, but with its glorious presentation and wealth of options, Chess Ultra is a Queen in a genre filled with Pawns.

With superb, customisable handling and insane attention to detail, F1 2018 is the ultimate representation of Formula One racing, that almost anyone can play.
