Riders of Rohan is the best add-on for Lord of the Rings Online thus far. It has one of the best mounted combats I've ever seen in MMOs and with the great, atmospheric Tolkien universe it is a great game for every fan of the books or the films.

Whether PES 2012 can win the eternal struggle with this year's FIFA title is a close call and will eventually be decided by your subjective preferences. Me, I liked PES a tick better.

Overall I can say that Gears of War 2 is not a typical shooter, as Fable II is not a typical role playing game. CyberConnect 2 made some changes compared to Ultimate Ninja Storm 2. There are no quick time events and no freely accessible areas anymore. Instead, awesome story-telling with never before shown anime material, a lot of fights and different characters – each with unique attacks – await.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is the best Naruto game. With a well adopted storyline, challenging fights and a lot of playable characters the game has everything a Naruto fan wants to see.

If you are fond of strategy games, there’s no risk in buying this title. The handling for the PS3 is very well done, but the humor is a bit strange, sometimes.

Young Thor would have been a very good Mini if it wasn't for some bugs and annoying details. Nevertheless, one of the best Minis out there!

All in all, Final Fantasy: Chrystal Chronicles: The Chrystal Bearers is a great game for Nintendo’s console. The product you get by crossing gameplay options of the Wii with a game out of the Final Fantasy series is awesome.

Provides co-op fun in its purest form. But the game not only scores with its fantastic co-op mode, but also with the variety of playable weapons, the sound and its thrilling atmosphere. The only minor disappointment comes from its visual realization, which appears a little bit antiquated. Nevertheless this is another superb entry in the Army of Two franchise.

On the whole Point Lookout is a very nice addition to the main game. Sadly you’ll also need Broken Steel, if you want your char to reach level 30.

Boom Blox Smash Party is one of the best Nintendo Wii games I’ve ever played. The game offers game modes for everyone and provides the player an awesome gaming experience. With over 400 levels, a great physics engine and an online-system for level sharing Boom Blox Smash Party is one of the best multiplayer games for the Nintendo Wii.

Not a simple clone of the first game. There are some major improvements like the graphical effects, the new skills and spells and the setting is darker than in Years 1-4. A great game and 3D is a nice gimmick. Although I played more than an hour, my eyes couldn't quite handle the flaring screen. On the one hand, the game offers total freedom and the player is absorbed by the game. That's the reason, why some players already returned the game to the shop.

The premiere of Civilization on the NDS has been successful and lives up to my expectations. Even this small-scale version of Civilization Revolution pleases, although “Civilization lite” would have been a better title. Gamer who liked the PC-version, will miss the complexity and amount of features. Nevertheless, the concept of the game is able to ignite the spark.

It's a revolution in many ways: loads of augmentations, many open choices and the story itself are real strengths. However, not everyone will like the high difficulty, imprecise controls and RPG elements.

Driver: San Francisco continues a great series in a worthy manner.

Project Soul took a step in the right direction. The newly introduced mechanics and the overall gameplay take the series to a new level. Interesting for new players and veterans alike.

Aliens vs. Predator is gory as hell. Only minor drawbacks such as the missing subtitles in the diary – at least in the German version – impair the atmosphere. The space marines are simply too average like in any arcade shooter, but to hunt as a predator or an alien is very entertaining.
