In the end, Marvel Ultimate Alliance is really a better version of the X-Men Legends game with better graphics, a longer story, bigger levels, more powers, more unlockables, more characters and an even better co-op mode. Unfortunately, this is also a game that you may have already played twice before.

Overall, WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 is a great wrestling game. The gameplay is more of the same, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s all of the new creation tools that really make the game shine.

The sheer depth of the game, various modes, and customization available are second to none, combined with an improved control schema and interactive environments, you’ll be playing this one for a very long time.

Whether or not NG II reflects a purchase for you really depends on two things. Are you a fan of the previous games in the series and are you sadistic enough to put yourself through one of the most challenging games of this console generation?

It’s not without its quirks and imperfections, but NBA Live 10 gets enough of the fundamentals right that it’s hard not to be excited about EA has in store for next season.

Puzzle Quest 2 has its problems, that much is for sure. Look past the problems, and you'll find a game that's still pretty darn addicting.

Overall, From Dust is very vibrant and interesting game and concept, with many compelling aspects to the gameplay. The visuals are stunning, the gameplay is simple and it can easily be played for an hour or five. However, it can become very tedious and frustrating in later levels. And because of the great simplicity of the game itself, frustrated players can find themselves losing interest in the game itself. It's a compelling game for puzzle lovers, but I would suggest caution for others who find themselves getting easily frustrated by having to juggle multiple aspects at once.

Multiwinia and Darwinia are both solid games individually, borrowing from a variety of genres to produce something engaging and interesting. Having both bundled into a single package makes Darwinia+ a ridiculously solid proposition.

Still, in the end, Lumines is a great game to play. The basic gameplay is solid and addictive, and the skins are mesmerizing in both sound and visuals, blending with the gameplay to create a hypnotic experience.

NBA 2K7 is easily the greatest basketball game ever made regardless of the platform you play it on. It will please NBA fans infinitely and it will make non-fans appreciate the sport even more.

The main handicaps to this game are the major, obnoxious glitches and the annoying combat. I can only hope that some fixes are already in the works for the glitches and as for the combat, just be prepared to grit your teeth and work your way through it if you're looking to play this game.

The game is rock solid and balanced so that experienced gamers and new players can get the hang of the game and soon be hooked on the action and teamwork it brings while working towards that next unlock.

Beyond that though there isn't much to say about Retribution. It builds on and enhances many aspects of the previous games while still using the same game engine. The graphics and sound quality are the same as they've ever been so it's really all about the gameplay changeups. The game unequivocally succeeds in giving people more of what they love but there is the real danger of stagnation here. The next games are going to have to do something impressive if they want to continue wowing gamers with each release.

The thing about the Dead Rising series is that it's pretty unique. Killing hordes of zombies with a huge variety of improvised weaponry isn't a genre present anywhere else. It's a great game to just mess around in, picking up random clothing, smashing zombie heads in and fighting away psychopaths.

Look into Cloning Clyde, because stepping on buttons and blowing up rocks hasn’t been this much fun in a long time.

The visuals are mind-blowing and the sound is simply incredible, especially with the score it has.

It's rare to find a game that encompasses a teaching tool as effective as Rocksmith, with virtually no negatives to observe, while still being enjoyable to play. Though for the first day or two you'll feel some pain in the tips of your fingers as your new guitarist callous' begin to form, it's a small trade for the skills, abilities, and pride you'll feel as you level-up as a genuine musician. Nothing beats learning useful and fun real-life skills, especially when it's with something as cool as an electric guitar.

TrackMania United is one of the best racing titles I've had the chance to come across in a long time.

Enslaved: Journey to the West is definitely a contender for game of the year.

In the end, tons of content, lots of things to see and do, and a fighting system that really makes you feel like you can take on the world come together to make a great game that offers a lot of play.

The action is all there, the exploration is all there, and despite some hiccups along the way, the experience is definitely worth experiencing for any fan of the series.

Mediocre graphics, mediocre music that seem to be remixes of older themes from previous titles and, well just general mediocrity make for a title that’s hard to recommend.

All this being said Scribblenauts falls short of expectations through a lack of polish and some pretty horrendous action controls.

Overall, Tropico 3 is enjoyable for those that thrive on simulator city management games.

We only hope that this game will find the crowd that enjoys both the aggravation of the challenge and the developing storyline that forms the core of Catherine. There is a hell of an experience here if you only have the patience for it.

Fat Princess presents a captivating world, an absurd premise and classic gameplay in a very well balanced and original game that is both amazingly funny and fun to play.

There's not a whole lot to say about Dark Dawn. It's a polished, visually-appealing, cliché-filled, trope-ridden jRPG that is seemingly made exclusively for the fans of the previous games.

On its own, NHL 2K7 is a very enjoyable hockey game despite its shortcomings, and should be on the shelf of any serious hockey fan.

A co-op mode would have been wonderful, a more fleshed out story-line, additional levels that didn’t take place in dark corridors that herded you from A to B without fail, more multiplayer options; these are all things that should be expected of games being released on next-generation consoles.

All in all, the game is great fun from intriguing opening to thrilling end; it’s just a shame that the game is so short. Still, if you’re looking for a superb action game, you could do a lot worse than Heavenly Sword.

I was surprised by how much fun I had with De Blob 2, considering I had never played the first. One of the main problems with Kinetic is that players need an awful lot of room to play this game. So unless a particular PS2 is not located in the vicinity of a small room or a crowded living room, players may have some difficulty with performing exercises without breaking some indoor furniture.

If you already own Devil Survivor, there isn't much here to entice you unless you're a hardcore SMT fan. If you don't own it, check it out. It's a fun title that does a lot of things well.

While Web of Shadows is not the perfect Spider-Man game, it’s certainly a quality offering and is heads and shoulders above the previous Spider-Man DS title.

Overall, the game is a pretty good buy. You’ll eventually get addicted to the puzzles, and you’ll probably enjoy the mini-games before the game, like the Connect the Dots puzzles.

All this said Mega Man 9 has a lot going for it. It isn’t terrifically expensive but you can have hours of fun with it, trying to master the stages and the Robot Masters.

All things considered, Mafia 2 is a good game. The problem is, it only takes a little over ten hours to complete the story, and once you're done that... that's it.

If it wasn't for the not-for-everyone grind house aesthetic of the game and the short play length, Shadows of the Damned would be a slam dunk recommendation. If you want some grindhouse and road movie in your game, this is the experience just for you. Even if you're a horror fan who's looking for something a little less serious than Dead Space of the latest F.E.A.R. title, you may just find what you're looking for here as well.

It may not be a AAA stunner, but Raven software has proven time and time again why they are one of the consistently superb shooter developers in the industry, a title that they've maintained for nearly 20 years now.

Anniversary is still a fantastic game, and well worth playing, that is, if you haven’t already.
