Only a few redeeming qualities spare WCW Backstage Assault from the fiery depths of an F. Don't hate the playa, hate this game.

Overall it's a very disappointing effort from Ubisoft and definitely not worth your time or money.

The product just feels unfinished, likely rushed to launch alongside the film, lacking the polish and additional development time that would have made this a worthwhile experience.

The mission selection is definitely a bit different from previous games, and having the various encounters with potentially dangerous prey is a great idea, but the actual execution feels pretty lackluster here.

The only real plus, is the lighting effects from explosions. The overall package is pretty ugly though, which is a shame.

Unless you have a strange Transformers fetish, it’s a game that you can easily skip.

It’s just a poorly made imitation of a PS1-era classic, and you’d be better off going back and playing Metal Gear Solid than wasting time with this garbage.

Hello Neighbor is the kind of awful that doesn’t need much time to make itself obvious. It stinks pretty much from the get-go, and that stench only gets more putrid with every second you spend with the game.

For me, Onechanbara represents one of the biggest disappointments I've felt in a game—it looks silly, action packed, and a little fun. Instead, it's just repetitive drivel with a bit of cheesecake.

Months after MindsEye’s first came out, it’s hard not to think that it was the victim of a pile-on that was only partially justified by the hubris that surrounded its release. If you can find it on sale for a deep discount and don’t mind playing a generic action game, you may find it perfectly acceptable.

Even with the Crash Mode being a let down, Burnout Legends is easily one of the best racers on the Nintendo DS. The fact that Criterion has put all the little nuances of the Burnout series in one little DS cart is amazing.

Everything about the game reeks of both not understanding women at all, and then not understanding how to make a game that is allowed to be naïve as long as it's full of fan service that we can get off to.

So yeah, avoid this one. It's a short, unremarkable romp through a movie universe that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to begin with. The actual combat isn't particularly awful or broken; it's just bland and not that fun, with no real redeeming qualities. Even at a discounted price, which it should have been at right out of the gate, you'd be better off passing on this one.

Vampire Rain is a game that might have had a lot of promise in the hands of a developer that was either able to take some time to actually develop it, or gave a damn about making an enjoyable game.

There's almost something offensive about how little time was spent developing this game. And even more so, that it can be resold on eBay at practically retail. The Wii userbase is poisoning itself, because games like this continue an unsettling trend: if they call for shovelware, it will come.

It was a mediocre game when it first came out seven years ago, and if anything, the benefit of time has made the “mediocre” assessment seem generous.

Heavy Fire: Red Shadow is just not good. It tries to be a decent game, but just fails on every level. The inclusion of VR just adds hope that it will at least be fun for a little while, but it turns out just being more of a headache. I figured VR was included to generate some interest in what is essentially a bargain bin title. It’s very basic but there is just no fun to be found here. I cannot recommend even trying this one out, even to experience the VR mode, as it just doesn’t deliver any kind of lasting appeal.

Even if the voice acting sucks, even if the puzzles are blatantly obvious, I think there's a massive gulf between bad and unspeakably terrible. In fact, for the simple reason the game is completely playable, you could possibly even argue that Dying: Reborn (non-PSVR) edition is profoundly mediocre. That's not enough to make it worth checking out by any means, but it also means that the game doesn't really deserve the title of "Worst Game of 2017" quite yet.

On top of it all, the game crashes so often it seems like a sign. Every load and option change is a risk that results in equal occurrences of the following: a complete crash, stuck on locked screen or more playtime of a terribly boring and frustrating game.

There is nothing redeeming about this game. The quality control of Star Wars titles is terrible nowadays, and Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones is simply a testament to this.

The AI in Shifters is absolutely laughable. Enemies get caught up on walls, chairs, corners - standing to the side of a door and repeatedly hacking an enemy in the head kills the heroic atmosphere deader than Cher's career.

Sure, it's pretty generic underneath it all, but the layering of sheer badness elevates it to a certain legendary state. Give it a rent, and let the hilarity begin at the fact everything comes off as either a really clever parody of licensed games-or one of the worst things you've ever had to play.

Again, I don’t have a ton of experience with Doctor Who, so I may be the completely wrong person to be judging The Edge of Reality. But given that the series has been around for about sixty years, I’m perfectly willing to accept that it’s a fun, substantive universe. Unfortunately, none of that comes through with this game.

Terrible gameplay, terrible animation, terrible AI, the addition of new modes that actually detract from the original, revamped controls that manage to both suck and blow at the same time – if given a choice between playing the GBA version again or eating the cartridge, plastic and all, I’d be firing up my microwave and looking for a plate.
