It’s really too bad, because any game that looks this cute should be incredibly easy to love. That Woven isn’t — indeed, that it becomes fairly grating pretty quickly — is a sign of just how many other problems it has. No matter how adorable the game may look, looks clearly aren’t everything.- Gaming Age

You’ll be better off watching the movie than playing it, and if you really feel the urge to play something fun, go pick up "Psychonauts" instead.- Gaming Age

For those of you looking for some type of classic 16-bit style platformer, I'd definitely give this a pass, as the experience isn't nearly as polished as something like a Mario, Kirby, or Sonic title.- Gaming Age

Overall I had fun with it as your characters get leveled up and check off career highlights, but this doesn’t make up for things. Continuing with the trend of women in each mode, they also added Mixed Tag matches, which has taken way too long to show up in the franchise. Again a nice addition, but not game changing. That’s pretty much it; some new wrestlers and arenas, but mostly same old WWE 2K, except worse character models.- Gaming Age

The game may be sharp as ever on the PSP's 16:9 screen, but not a lot of that matters when you're either played the game before or can get it for about $25 cheaper on an older handheld.- Gaming Age

It's just that those defining moments are spaced out by some poor AI and a punishing alert system that end up severely dampening the overall experience.- Gaming Age

With legendary game developer Warren Spector overseeing the game and iterating upon the things that worked in the first game while fixing those that didn't, I had high hopes this sequel would be one of the great games of the holiday. Unfortunately the end result is a game that I like even less than the original. There's a reason you'll see this game on sale at retailers already – it's not all that enjoyable. Buy with caution.- Gaming Age

I get that I Am Your President isn’t trying to be Suzerain or Democracy, so expecting it to be on par with either of those isn’t fair. But it’d be nice if it made any effort whatsoever, rather than thinking that a few pop culture references and some vaguely political words are enough to make it a political simulator. There’s room for a good, snarky satire game, but this definitely isn’t it.- Gaming Age

As I’ve always said, KEMCO RPGs exist within a pretty narrow band — they’re never great, but they’re never terrible. They’re really just the same game repeated dozens of times with minor tweaks, and Asdivine Menace is no different. As far as I’m concerned, however, the microtransactions are a step too far, and you’re probably better off getting one of the other KEMCO games that falls closer to the good-ish side of the spectrum.- Gaming Age

Dennation had a hit. It was dumb, it was violent, it was addictive. What it wasn’t, was mean. It wasn’t punishing. It wasn’t gross. By trying to go further, and bigger, and better, Dennation spoiled a winning recipe- Gaming Age

To reiterate what I said at the beginning of this review, though: your mileage on all this will vary depending on how much love you have for cheap-looking adventure games with a very British sense of humour. If you pine for the early ‘90s and wish games like Day of the Tentacle could come back (albeit in a much dumbed-down form), then this may seem like an answer to your prayers. As it stands, though, if you aren’t in that mood, then there’s nothing going on in The Mystery of Woolley Mountain that’s likely to win you over.- Gaming Age

I don’t want to diminish the game’s existence for anyone who does need to have more details. People can like what they want to like, and if someone out there loves Code: Realize, I’m glad they get to experience more of what they love. But if you aren’t a diehard Code: Realize fan, then there’s really no reason for you to play Code: Realize ~Wintertide Miracles~.- Gaming Age

Even though Ninja Gaiden 3 is definitely a watered down experience in comparison to the previous two games, it still sits well above other mediocre action games available on current-gen hardware. And while I can't help but feel massively disappointed with the final product, I'll allow that the game is going to be far more accessible than it's ever been, and there's little in the way of a difficulty hurdle if you play through the default setting.- Gaming Age

At some point you have to assign proper value to your own time, because Extraction will not. There are too many good games out there that manage to do this better. If you are on PC, play GTFO instead. If you are only interested in GamePass games? Play Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Do you want tight Rainbow Six gameplay and tactics? Stick with Siege. There are no upsides to Extraction that outweigh the negatives here, and I cannot suggest it to anyone in its current state.- Gaming Age

Setting aside the inherent creepiness of it all — if Hellbound & Debriefed represented the first time we’d ever seen the mechanic, it might be noteworthy. But seeing as it was done much, much better in Undead & Undressed, here it just feels clunky and awkward. I get that in the absence of Undead & Undressed on the Switch, Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed might seem tempting if you’re after this sort of thing. It shouldn’t be, though. The series may have (very briefly) gone on to more interesting things (before promptly taking a nosedive back to mediocrity), but you’re not going to see any of that here.- Gaming Age

If World’s End Club existed in a vacuum — or even in a world where neither Danganronpa or Zero Escape didn’t exist — it might seem a little more interesting. The premise is solid, and there’s nothing inherently objectionable about the gameplay, it’s just not incredibly interesting since we’ve seen it done so much better elsewhere. But that’s precisely the problem — it’s been done much, much better, and those games are all still quite available, with the Danganronpa trilogy slated to arrive on the Switch in a few weeks. You’re better old holding out for that, rather than wasting your time with this pale imitation.- Gaming Age
