Fill-a-Pix may come with some decent pedigree, but decent pedigree means nothing when the end result is so boring.- Gaming Age

While it looks and sounds better than the original and even the Megaton Edition, there isn't really enough new here to warrant a purchase.- Gaming Age

It does well by the proven conventions of the games before it; The story is, at the very least, entertaining to watch unfold and there's more than enough game for $20.- Gaming Age

When the rest of the game is basically just your standard dungeon crawler…well, it gets judged as a standard dungeon-crawler, and loses one or two marks for being kind of icky.- Gaming Age

Of course, this leads back to the game's main problem, which is that building up your characters inherently means letting them live to see another dialogue sequence or cutscene — and the more you see of them in those sequences and cutscenes, the less you'll want to let them live. It's a dilemma with no real solution…apart from the obvious one, of not playing Ray Gigant unless you have a strong appetite for generic characters and you don't mind if their combat isn't that interesting, either.- Gaming Age

But still: it's hard. Like, unreasonably hard. Obviously, for some people that's appealing, and for those people Element4L might be worth checking out. If you don't want a relentlessly punishing platformer, though, then you'd best avoid this one.- Gaming Age

Blacksite's biggest issues aren't in the controls, but the lack of what you can do with them, not to mention the horrible enemy A.I.- Gaming Age

Maybe Tecmo Koei should rethink the core design in the next game as, at this point, they are getting stale.- Gaming Age

For a $10 game, Magical Beat is a safe bet for anyone who thinks they'd like a little twist on the straightforward match-three standard.- Gaming Age

If the gameplay was a little more involved, with less button bashing and greater emphasis on using combos for effectiveness, it would provide a more fufilling experience.- Gaming Age

An average strategy title. The simple action and battle elements will turn off hardcore strategists. But the strong story and entertaining characters will keep you from popping the disc out.- Gaming Age

ASB 2005 does do a lot, but so does the other guys and unfortunately for Acclaim, they also do it better.- Gaming Age

Whether you’re intimately familiar with Mobile Suit Gundam or a total newcomer, the basic gist of the game should be enough to suck you in and keep you riveted. That it’s not shows just how forgettable this gameplay is – and forgettable is never a word that should apply to robots trying to blow each other up.- Gaming Age

Console pinball is really not where it's at, but in this portable fashion, it is probably about as good as you can get.- Gaming Age

At the end of the day, the Marvel Ultimate Alliance Bundle is exactly what you would expect; the previous gen games, on the current gen systems… Nothing more and nothing less (well actually a little bit less at the moment, but Activision is owning up to fixing that).- Gaming Age

If you’re looking for a game that offers tonnes of content, Scintillatron 4096 isn’t it, especially if you’re playing it on Vita. But if you played that Atari Flashback Classics collection and want to recreate the feeling with something newer, this game should do the trick.- Gaming Age

The needy camera and the almost forced replaying of the levels frustrated me. I also wish the manual (no item descriptions) and the tutorial (all text) weren't so atrocious.- Gaming Age

It’s a thoroughly average 3D platformer that doesn’t do enough, good or bad, to be worth praising or condeming.- Gaming Age

I actually enjoyed playing Interpol while it lasted, but I honestly can't fathom spending $10 on it, especially when you compare that value to other things available on XBLA.- Gaming Age

A decent action game. There are a few flaws and a lack of depth, but it’s definitely playable and fun.- Gaming Age

Another downer is there is no reason to take another journey, as there are no rewards or accomplishments to be made, unless you just have to get that extra gallon of blood... err... oil.- Gaming Age

For a game that shows great promise on the field, all the extras really bring the game down. It is hard to recommend FIFA Soccer 2006 for anyone looking for a single player experience, as with the lack of options, they will likely grow tired of it quickly.- Gaming Age

I can't see the value here, outside of the level editor. If you're content to buzz through the single player without posting up the best times/result, you'll finish it in about four hours, and the co-op mode being offline only feels pretty limited in scope.- Gaming Age

I personally would have preferred a classic “Joe” title, since nostalgia seems to be in these days, but for what’s it’s worth, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra video game is exactly what you would expect from a film to game translation, nothing more, nothing less.- Gaming Age

Mask of Truth’s fights are standard SRPG fare, with grids and turns and, occasionally, teams. You don’t need to worry about learning anything too complex, which in turn leaves you more time to sift through the story. Conversely, it means that if you don’t find the story compelling, it’s not like there’s some other element here that could win you over. Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth is for diehards only, and everyone else need not apply.- Gaming Age
