MLB 2K9 belongs in the 'fun' category. It looks great, and most of the time the game plays great. But it's not kind online, and pitch counts and tendencies, and hitters that act like the real thing, aren't there.- Gaming Age

And really, when you get right down to it, the core of Farming Simulator remains intact. Farming Simulator still allows you to get in a nice, zen groove — you just need to look a little harder for it this time.- Gaming Age

I do think it’s worth at least downloading the game and testing it out, as I definitely have had fun with it despite its shortcomings. That said, I also don’t see myself sticking with it in its current state, but hopefully as new additions and patches roll out I’ll have reason to return to FBC: Firebreak.- Gaming Age

This port of Most Wanted that was a port of Carbon, which in itself wasn't good in the first place, is unforgivable from a team as financially stable as EA. Heck, Burnout Paradise, while not a great "Burnout-style" game, was a fantastic racing game, so how about counting your losses and just releasing one racing title and put all your money and focus on it.- Gaming Age

It's a bargain bin game, for what it's worth plus a monthly fee. Not to mention, you can garner a thorough experience out of it within a couple weeks as a rental.- Gaming Age

I appreciate the realization of scale in the game, and the overall fun you get out of just blowing things away with the different weapons you can toy around with. I'm not sure if there's been enough improvements here to appease fans, but as a player that hasn't been immersed in the Armored Core universe for a bit, I had a pretty good time.- Gaming Age

It's definitely a Westernized way of approaching the visual novel, but if you look at it just so, you can see how it might fit in that box.- Gaming Age

The crazy thing is, despite my constant frustration with Cultist Simulator, I still wouldn’t say that I hated it. It’s stylish, it’s got an interesting look and feel, and, even with my ineptitude, it’s pretty apparent that there’s a very deep game to be found here — if you can just unlock it somehow.- Gaming Age

IT's the perfect game for your kid who owns a Wii and loves being on the soccer team-he doesn't know better and neither will parents. I guess that's a good thing.- Gaming Age

Actually a decent squad-based action title that's not quite in the column of worth purchasing, but gamers looking for some mindless action with a few annoying problems will find X-Squad to be a weekend rental diversion.- Gaming Age

It's certainly great that Insomniac Games wanted to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Ratchet & Clank series with a fresh new gameplay experience. Sadly, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault doesn't totally work. It's possible that the PS Vita will be a more natural fit for the game, and we expect to spend some time with that version when it is released.- Gaming Age

I don't feel like Yakuza: Dead Souls is a game that anyone really needs to play, even if you're a pretty hardcore fan of the series. The action is such a departure from the series, and handled so poorly, that it literally turns you off of wanting to do anything but the non-combat side stuff found throughout.- Gaming Age

If you're a big fan of these niche style games, then it should be right up your alley. Nothing else about Chaos Wars really stands out, the graphics are 2D on a 3D plane, and look well enough, but the music isn't really exceptional stuff.- Gaming Age

Despite the sheer amount of words that have been written about the game – including by me, I’ll acknowledge as I pass the 1,500 word mark on this review – the reality is that it’s just a forgettable, mediocre game. It does plenty of things very poorly, but it also does one or two things well enough that you can’t say it’s completely and irredeemably awful. There’s no real reason to seek the game out, and there’s no reason (apart, maybe, from that stupid talking bracelet) to avoid it at all costs: Forspoken is just kind of there.- Gaming Age

If you love grinding through monster after monster in the quest for more XP (and better all the skills and weapons better XP will bring you). If you don't mind reading the same lines over and over again (believe me: what's funny the first time you read it is a lot less so the twentieth). If you have the patience to buy fifty healing herbs one by one by one. If your heart goes pitter-patter upon hearing 8-bit music with the slightest bit of airy static in the background. If that describes you, then you need to get on this game immediately — and if it doesn't, then you'll probably be better off looking elsewhere.- Gaming Age

I’d say that the lack of a quest list might just be Time on Frog Island’s biggest issue. After all, we’re talking about a game that’s basically nothing but fetch quests, so for the game to not include a way of keeping track of your one task seems like a major oversight. Then again, maybe the makers of Time on Frog Island just figured they could get by on a cute premise and general aesthetic. To be sure, in some cases that may be enough, but in this case, it just means you have a game that has the right tone but none of the right content.- Gaming Age

Storm isn't a game that is going to knock your socks off, but what it does do is provide a nice puzzle game for the fans who like their brand of puzzles a little more laid back and thought-oriented versus time and speed oriented. If you enjoyed games like Braid, there is plenty to love about Storm as it is original, thought provoking, and most of all fun.- Gaming Age

Overall, I think if you're a Wii only owner and you enjoy JRPG's, you'll probably find Arc Rise Fantasia to be a breath of fresh air. There's not a great deal that can compete with this particular style of game on the system right now, and it certainly has some highlights to it.- Gaming Age

Star Trek: Tactical Assault does a fantastic job with giving the player a feel of the Star Trek universe and what the commander of a starship had to go through in the shows. I would probably recommend picking out the PSP version if you had a choice.- Gaming Age
