At $30, I expected a short but dense Wolfenstein experience with two new protagonists and a tangible narrative thread connecting them to the original games, their father B.J. Blazkowicz. What we got was a horrible imitation of the rest of the series, complete with an absolutely senseless plot, unacceptably bad and annoying characters, and joyless combat. I find that a weak plot can be forgiven if gameplay is flawless and satisfying, and sometimes weaker gameplay can be ignored in favor of an incredible story, but you cannot botch BOTH aspects and expect people to like your game.- Gaming Age

My suggestion would be to skip this title entirely, unless you're particularly hard up for some new EDF action.- Gaming Age

If you were a fan of the original Dead Island games despite their shortcomings, they're worth a revisit. I never was able to play with the fifth character in either DI or Riptide so that's where my focus has been. Purchasing the physical collection gives you Retro Revenge, which makes this a decent value.- Gaming Age

While the game doesn't do much in the way of gameplay, the presentation makes up for it.- Gaming Age

Not a masterpiece by any means, but a game that will not put a black mark on their collection.- Gaming Age

In small doses, it might work — which takes me back to that caveat above — but as a sit-down, console experience, Neon Chrome just feels a little lacking.- Gaming Age

Large improvements need to be made to the AI to make the game challenging and enjoyable, and more time needs to be spent on improving the character models and announcing work.- Gaming Age

Given how nice it looks, I suspect that if you were to strip out most of Moons of Madness’ gameplay — such as it is — you would’ve been left with a very solid (if somewhat short) horror walking simulator. Instead, all you have here a somewhat scary horror game that manages to drown itself in a whole lot of pointless busywork.- Gaming Age

What you get here will take you no time at all to complete, and it's hard to feel like there's not a sizeable amount of content missing from this particular game.- Gaming Age

If you are hell bent on grabbing RE6, wait for a price drop. $20 is even too steep in my opinion.- Gaming Age

You will get a visual style that is like no other, the ability to perform over the top moves off of interactive environments, and score a lot during the process. This is soccer on adrenaline.- Gaming Age

The game feels like old-hat and the limited gameplay changes have the Tomb Raider series making a small leap in improvement.- Gaming Age

If the gameplay could match the quality of the plot or dialogue options then you'd have a real winner here, but as it stands Alpha Protocol isn't a title I'd want to revisit anytime soon.- Gaming Age

Spectrobes is a game that has great promise. The visuals are excellent, the concept is great, the basic design is exemplary. But man oh man, when it comes to executing combat—which is the number one priority in any action/rpg—Spectrobes just doesn't deliver.- Gaming Age

In other words, Minutes is exactly the kind of game that should work on the Vita — the sort of thing you squeeze in between classes and during short commutes. But it just doesn't work that way.- Gaming Age

I got used to the game. I even finished it. This was partly because I learned how to compensate for the game's shortcomings but it was largely due to the fact that it's a lot of fun.- Gaming Age

But if you're the type that will get a kick out of watching the fighters launch from the tubes on the titular ship (and those launches look a lot like they did on the TV show), and you long to put those one-eyed robots in their place, this game will entertain you enough to feed your nostalgic cravings even if none of the characters or even the robots look all that familiar.- Gaming Age

Unsalvageable, it is what I hope was originally an honest attempt at a fresh breath of air in the handheld world of RPG's. Unfortunately something went wrong, as the developers really seem interested in their presentation and story, of which the latter could have really been more ignored for some refinement in the gameplay.- Gaming Age

The implementation here is nearly a complete waste, considering the richness of the universe involved. Lousy controls, sterile and anemic environments, and weaksauce driving environments all pull down the good work done in the sound, character graphics and new footage departments.- Gaming Age

All in all, NBA Playgrounds was a pleasant surprise. Post release support will make or break how the game continues to be and if players stick around with it. I’ve already recommended the game to some friends for some arcade style sports fun. At this point it’s tough to recommend the Switch version over the other consoles, based on what I mentioned previously, but IF all my issues were corrected, it could be the definitive version. Playing at home or taking it on the go while hanging out and tipping back a few “sodas” is what this genre is all about.- Gaming Age
