While it sure isn't a AAA game, it's hard to fault Dark Sector for anything past the seriously broken melee attack.- Gaming Age

Had it been as balanced as its high points were, it'd be an easy recommendation, but as it is, it's great for a few hours a night to just wind down. Just don't expect to remember it when all's said and done.- Gaming Age

ASB 2005 does do a lot, but so does the other guys and unfortunately for Acclaim, they also do it better.- Gaming Age

For fans of this racing genre, you will kick yourself if you don’t treat yourself to the best the sport has to offer. It’s deep, it’s fast, it’s authentic, it’s online, it’s fair, and it’s fun!- Gaming Age

Everyone who's anyone has already played PixelJunk Monsters, and now all those nobodies on PC, Mac, and Linux can enjoy it too, with its arrival on Steam. Not to mention they're getting the complete package considering all the DLC bundled in. PJMU seems to have had a buggy release but in my experience has stabilized beyond these growing pains into the game we all expected to arrive on its initial approach.- Gaming Age

This was an underrated gem on the Wii’s library, and its remastered version on the Switch is giving people a second chance to discover it. If you’re wise (and, obviously, you’re into inventive platformers), don’t miss out on it this time.- Gaming Age

There’s a massive gulf between finding a game’s concept charming and actually wanted to play that game, and Bear and Breakfast never comes anywhere close to crossing that gaping chasm.- Gaming Age

While the casual gamer may get frustrated with even a more realistic approach to the game, the hardcore gamer will appreciate the new features and nuances that easily make the game worthy of a purchase for any fan of the links.- Gaming Age

Like so many other "problematic" games before it — both in the genre and beyond it — Hyperdimension Neptunia U shows that it's possible to turn a blind eye to certain issues when everything else is just so much fun.- Gaming Age

Maybe I have a soft spot for short geese games and this one is definitely short. I wish there was a little bit more story and maybe dial back on the Metal Slug homages. The game has some unique features, but they never seem fully fleshed out and useful. Otherwise this is a completely serviceable shoot ’em up that fans of Metal Slug will surely get a kick out of.- Gaming Age

Basically, don't pick up Wolfenstein for the multiplayer, especially if you're hoping for some type of Return to Castle Wolfenstein experience out of it. It's fun, and worth checking out, but hardly competitive or well polished. Instead, you'll be buying this game primarily for the single player experience, which isn't without it's own set of faults, but still manages to be fun despite that.- Gaming Age

I’m all for original games that tap the creative juices of its players. I even like music games. Unfortunately, Electroplankton serves up 30 minutes of decent fun, but then the party’s over. There simply isn’t enough to do, not enough options to explore, and the experience is cut short way too fast.- Gaming Age

Some of the gameplay feels a bit archaic, and there's some unneeded filler here and there, but those looking for a quality portable platforming action title should be satisfied with Jak & Daxter's latest adventure.- Gaming Age

If you don’t enjoy RTS games or aren’t a fan of the franchise, then this won’t be the game that will sway you, I can recommend this if you’re curious about how Minecraft and this genre of game can coexist and if you are a Minecraft fan in general. Overall, a great game for fans, but not for everyone.- Gaming Age

There aren’t many extras in each title and the two titles feel dated. But hardcore fight fans get a lot substance for a little cash.- Gaming Age

Still, it’s hard to deny that Disney Magical World has a remarkably addictive quality to it. This is clearly a title aimed at a younger crowd, but I think there’s a fair amount here that adults can enjoy as well.- Gaming Age

Oceanhorn 2 wears its influences pretty clearly on its sleeve, and it does so in a way that doesn’t always do it any favours, but if you can ignore that and accept it on its own terms, you’ll find a game that’s pretty enjoyable in its own right.- Gaming Age

The problem here is that not only does Saints Row IV look kind of bad, it runs abysmally. It takes a lot to get me to feel negatively towards one of my all-time favourite games, but this kind of achieves that dubious goal.- Gaming Age

Is it worth the new release price? Maybe, considering I’m still trucking through my version, even with the headaches. I’ve had a more positive experience despite the bugs and believe they could be rectified with a patch.- Gaming Age

A fantastic console experience and it comes highly recommended. It does have flaws, and some strange graphical bugs that pop up from time to time, but despite all that I look forward to playing the game for months to come, and I think 360 and PS3 owners should absolutely plan on either playing, or picking up, this action RPG.- Gaming Age

To be sure, Team Sonic Racing isn’t really a bad game. It works, and even if it’s a little lacking in personality, it has polish. But there’s a vast gulf between solid (which is what this is) and good (which is how I’d describe previous Sonic racing games), and it’s very clear that this game is stuck firmly on the “solid” side.- Gaming Age

This is the Saturday morning cartoon your parents wouldn't dare let you watch, the closest thing to Venture Bros. becoming a video game, and one of the highlights of this year's downloadable titles. The only thing it's missing is a lot of limbs falling off and decapitation, but that's what sequels are for, right?- Gaming Age

I think Record of Agarest War is definitely a pretty niche SRPG, that's not going to appeal to players that aren't already familiar with this particular game type. However, I don't think it's meant to bring in new players, and as far as fan service games go, this is pretty tame and playable by teens on up.- Gaming Age
