    If you've got some time to waste, and you're looking for a new RPG, than Nostalgia can fit that bill. However, don't go in with your expectations too high, it's certainly a very average approach to RPG's that's hindered by a slow plot, boring characters, and a very standard approach to combat.

    Totally Reliable Delivery Service is the definition of a one-note joke that wears out its welcome pretty quickly. You’ll experience pretty much everything it has to offer in the first few minutes of playing it, and it’s the sort of game best experienced as part of a YouTube compilation, rather than something you need to play on your own.

    Here’s the best way I can describe it: my daily calendar this year has been Jeopardy!-themed. There were new questions every day, it gave dollar values for each question, and at the end of each week I could “wager” my weekly total in a Final Jeopardy! type-question. The experience I got out of that was pretty much the same as what I got playing Jeopardy! on PS4. That’s fine if all you’re after is a bit of trivia; I’m certainly partial to testing my knowledge of random factoids. But if you’re looking for anything like the actual game of Jeopardy!, then keep looking, because you won’t find it here.

    I had no expectations for it going in, but it shows immediately that it can do one thing exceptionally well. If they could have made a game that lived up to that — or even came close to living up to that — then it could’ve been worth playing. As it stands, though, it just feels like a lot of wasted potential.

    Unfortunately, no matter how good the core of the game may be, there's no getting around the fact that Curses 'N Chaos' execution leaves something to be desired. Its flaws aren't fatal by any means, and could probably be fixed with a patch or two…but until that actually happens, you're probably safe skipping this game.

    All together, Dynasty Warriors Gundam is a pretty fun diversion for a few hours or so. It definitely has a long shelf life in your collection, as long as you don't mind the very repetitive style of gameplay that these types of games often represent.

    There's not enough here to justify playing it if you've already played the original, and if you didn't play that first game because you're not a fan of dungeon crawlers, nothing here is going to change your mind. The art style is still exceptionally good, and it reflects the tone of a game that's surprisingly mature in a contemplative, non-skeezy way. Overall, though, this very much represents an incremental upgrade — rather than a major step forward — over the Stranger of Sword City, and it should be received as such.

As I said, you could do a lot worse than this one, but given the sheer number of alternatives on the Switch alone, there’s really no reason why you’d want to pick this one specifically.

    Really, whether you should spend your money on this game comes down to whether you have $5 or so burning a hole in your pocket, how much you want to play a Mega Man clone, and if you feel like spending 30 minutes or so on an easy Platinum. If your answers to those questions are yes, very much, and yes, then Clash Force might just be worth checking out.

    It’s really too bad that the gameplay doesn’t come anywhere close to matching the inventiveness, because, as I said up top, Paper Cut Mansion is just brimming with ideas.     Even with all those pros working in the game’s favour, it’s hard to recommend Alan Wake Remastered when it means suffering through such a terrible port. Unless you’re a Switch-only gamer, you’d be well-advised to ignore this altogether, and playing the game on any of the many other systems this is available on. And if your only option is the Switch? Maybe skip this one and just trust everyone who says it’s a game well worth playing.

    I don’t mind difficult games, but I like ones that offer rewarding experiences and noticeable upgrades once the learning curve is complete. Battlezone does little to reward players and the various waves of enemies become tiring rather quickly. The foundation here is solid for a fun game, but the implementation falls short and doesn’t allow much room for the game to be enjoyable for any length of time. Perhaps some tweaks to the randomized challenge spikes can be patched in, but for now it’s a game specifically targeting only the hardest of the hardcore who value unfair challenge above all else.

    It also isn't helped by the fact that it doesn't control particularly well. The characters all move awkwardly, lurching about the screen in the least smooth way imaginable regardless of whether you're using the left thumbstick or the D-pad. Likewise, the game takes an annoyingly literal approach to 2D hacking and slashing, requiring that all enemies be pretty much directly in front of you if you want to hit them.

    The biggest problem with Spirit of the North is that there’s far more of it than it needs to be. Take the story, for example: it’s a wordless tale about a fox wandering through the frozen wilderness to find its lost love (or so I gathered). While that’s certainly enough to go on, it’s also not enough to sustain the game for nearly four hours. That’s hardly a lengthy experience, but it still feels like the game’s length could have been cut by an hour or more, and nothing would have been lost.

    There are one or two areas where Dark Rose Valkyrie kinda-sorta stands out: it makes fast-forwarding through the battles, the explainer screens, and the dialogue a breeze, which is nice, because the game features far too much of all three. Unfortunately, the game is also lacking in enough areas that its positives are negated entirely. The camera is terrible; you may not have to use it that often, but when you do, you’ll probably curse its existence. Likewise, the main character has a weird habit of grunting when he runs. This may not sound like much, but when you hear grunts for a few minutes as you try to figure out where to go next, it gets more and more grating.

    While I think the idea behind a 3D brawler in the Dragon Ball universe is a decent idea, I can't see the point in a game that only allows you to fight as Goku, and keeps up the overall length that this game does. It does try to offer some replay value, but not having additional characters to check out outside of the Tournament mode is a waste, and not what I was hoping for with this game.

    Overall, for the asking price, I'd hesitate to say this is worth picking up unless you already know what you're getting into, and have a fondness for the original release. As a new experience, I don't think there's a whole lot here to appreciate without some type of nostalgia for the original release. With a bit more content, and a better online experience, maybe you would have had something here, but JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD feels a bit like a lazy port outside of the decent HD re-skin.

    The dinosaurs truly do shine in Jurassic World Evolution, and the game is at its best when it just leaves me to grow and care for them on my own time. Beyond that, Jurassic World Evolution is a very shallow experience, it doesn’t dig deep enough to be a story driven game and it does not maintain enough of the aspects of park building tycoon games to really be considered in that genre either.

    The subject matter is difficult to get past for most people, and it’s present throughout the game. The touching mini-games are weird, the pervy humor is rarely funny, and the fact that it all seems to take place with high-school aged teens is just a bit much.     The thing is, at least as far as the Switch version goes, you need to dig deep in order to see all that – and honestly, it’s hard to say that it’s worth it, all things considered.     To be fair, if Redfall had come out from a different studio with a lesser track record, I could imagine enjoying it a little more. The town of Redfall is pretty and picturesque, and there’s enough of a story here, about trying to take the town back from the vampires and competing cultists, that you could see how it could be turned into a compelling experience. To get there, though, would’ve required a much different game than we have here. Ironically, that different, imaginary game is one that Arkane would’ve been well-suited to make if they’d just stuck with their strengths. Instead, they opted to make this version of Redfall – the one that doesn’t suit them at all – and we’re all the poorer for it.

    To the game's credit, it retained one of the things that set Long Song apart: the combat. True, thee's a lot less flying involved, but much like the games before it, Hollow Realization is good at making fighting enemies nice and satisfying...It's just too bad that the same can't be said for anything else here. The first two games in the Sword Art Online franchise showed promise and then delivered, respectively. It's a shame that it's hard to view Hollow Realization as anything but a giant step backwards.

    Two Parsecs from Earth does have one mechanic that deserves mentioning: when you unlock a new skill, you have to choose between two, rather than simply getting one, and the skill you don’t pick is blocked off for the rest of the game. Consequently, different choices — say, choosing to dash rather than double-jump, or vice versa — will mean means the game plays out a little differently, which is an interesting wrinkle. Or it would be if the rest of Two Parsecs from Earth was that interesting. Unfortunately, it’s pretty dull beyond that, and only people who really like Metroidvanias need apply.

But seeing as you spend the vast majority of your time here wandering through a hideous open world, the performance is an issue.     Visually, Little Nightmares III is just fine, with the opening two levels again falling somewhat flat while the final two manage to shine just a little more brightly. Overall, this game just feels somewhat rushed, which may be due to the new development team at Supermassive taking the reins to the series. All in all, while there is something to like here, most players will ultimately be let down by a disappointingly empty sequel to a great second title.

    The Xbox Live function is easy to use, but good luck finding a crew to race. Several log-on attempts revealed that not too many people are logging into the AM races.

    There are definitely positive elements to be mined out of Sonic: Lost World, but once again this isn’t the return to form that Sonic fans have been hoping for.

    Think of it as the cheap seats at a game. If you know what you are getting into and have plenty of friends who wanna throw down with you online, then yes, the game does play a fun addictive game of arcade NHL action. If you are looking for a single player experience or will only play online sporadically, then the answer is an emphatic no.

    Fatal Inertia EX is a solid enough racer, but it doesn't merit as much attention when compared to other racing titles on the PS3. And being a PSN title, the price point might be a bit steep for players to take a chance on, which also severely diminishes the quality of the multiplayer modes.

    Unfortunately, it’s just not that good. I could see playing through Scarf once if you’re in the mood to play something that reminds you of Journey, but that isn’t as good as Journey. But beyond that? Scarf throws away whatever goodwill it might generate with an ending that shows it doesn’t really respect your time. Make of that what you will, and decide whether that makes the game worth your time at all.
