When a perfectly crafted game like this does come along, regardless of the era or art style, just enjoy it. It’s a truly magnificent creation.

Minor issues and short playtime aside, D4 is well worth a look, and one of the few times the “better with Kinect” slogan is appropriate.

It is hard to hide from the fact though, that this is more of the same, a retread of previous games in the series, just with improved visuals. Now at this time that isn’t a bad thing, it is still a fantastic experience but at the same time this also feels like this should be it.

The bar has been raised...Good luck reaching it, let alone clearing it.

For many, though, there’ll be a point where the learning process feels too much like work, the subject matter is off-putting, or the technical ceiling is just too high to warrant the effort. Find a friend who is at the same level of (in)competence as you though and you can at least have the most ridiculous scrap of your life.

If you like Borderlands, then you'll like Borderlands The Pre-Sequel. It's simply more Borderlands.

Curve have built on the first game, and made it that much better. Worth a play in any Wii U household.

Never Alone is a game that has gone from hardly being on the radar, to something that could quite possibly be a Game of the Year (2014) contender. Those who take a chance on this game will come away knowing they have been part of a unique experience that shows that games can be used as a serious vehicle for story telling.

Another step closer to the perfect basketball game, and this year the beards are so life like, you really will want to stroke them.

Tales of Hearts R is the RPG for everyone. A wonderfully balanced game for casual and hardcore fans alike.

A potential new direction for the series and a decent start. However a shame that the single player is lacking somewhat.

The Legend of Korra is proof that everything Platinum touches doesn’t automatically turn to gold. An interesting combat system can’t contend with the utter mediocrity that is layered on top of it. Even Korra fans may find it difficult to get through the short playtime.

Jet Car Stunts shows a ton of promise, but much of the game is locked behind some pretty awful criteria for progression.

We gave it time, but it still isn't the game we'd hoped for. It may get there one day, just not right now.

Shadow Warrior is a game that you simply must own, because it represents a by gone era where videogames didn’t take themselves at all seriously. And we all need a bit of fun in our lives.

A passable, if not perfect adventure, but certainly worth a look.

More to this game than first meets the eye.

If you are a fan of the likes of Thief and Hitman then Styx: Master of Shadows is well deserving of a play. Goblins may be foul, disgusting creatures, but you won’t help but like this one.

An amazing example of online and offline racing built around an engaging, satisfying handling model with the looks to match. Very, very nearly worth buying an Xbox One for alone.

None of the stress matters in the end, though. All that you care about is getting Baby back to mummy, and the excited grinning and hopping she does after you navigate a tricky segment together is worth every moment of frustration along the journey.

A highly recommended, fun & beautiful game for all the family.
