Backbreaker doesn't do anything wrong as such and it seems to tick all the right boxes, it just feels a little flat as a package, it will be played for a good solid period then will likely be forgotten about as newer titles come out. You'd be foolish to not even give this game look though.- Gamestyle

Top Spin 4 is a fantastic game and definitely the best tennis game currently on the market. There a few minor flaws, but for every negative, there are a hundred more positives. The realism of the game play is leaps and bounds ahead of competitors and predecessors in the series, but there are still a few loose ends that need to be tied up.- Gamestyle

Dirt 3 is a fine game and the action is as quality as always, the introduction of Gymkhana is a welcome one and offers a new challenge. However some baffling decisions on content stop the game being a true great of the genre. It almost feels like a first in a series, rather than the third.- Gamestyle

The game is fun though. It does get repetitive, and it does feel like a corridor at times, but the desire to see all of New York City, destroyed and lying in ruin, is what will drive you forward. Towards the end of the game it does overstay its welcome, and you'll be wishing you could just walk through the levels with no enemies in sight, detracting from the wonderful visuals. With all that said, the suit powers are enjoyable the first few times and any fan of shooters will have a good time in the game's dystopian New York City.- Gamestyle

While it feels like it falls short of its potential, it provides a solid enough foundation that can be developed on and improved in future titles, and is still one of the most wildly innovative and daring experiences to be released this year.- Gamestyle

There's fun to be had with Ridge Racer 3D, and it's a decent showcase of what the 3DS can do. There's room for improvement but there's nothing fundamentally wrong with it. We'd definitely recommend it to fans of the series and newcomers alike.- Gamestyle

Whilst Dead Money felt like a riskier shot, this piece of DLC is an altogether safer bet on an established norm.- Gamestyle

The whole game screams rough diamond. The racing is fast frantic and surprisingly deep, but everything that surrounds it feels like it has potential, but never quite lives up to what it promises. It is a solid base to build on though and if the risk they have taken to deliver mainly though digital distribution in-game works out, then there is a bright future ahead. At the low price point it has been released at and for just how well done the actual racing is, then this is a game well worth your time.- Gamestyle

The very kindest you could say about Conduit 2 is that it is a guilty pleasure. If you enjoy this, you have a lot to feel guilty about.- Gamestyle

Overall one of the best social games available on iOS and even if you do not play the social side there is plenty of stuff to do solo and is highly addictive that will keep you going for a long time. Monsterz' Revenge is not just a quick fix, although repetitive in most aspects it is still highly enjoyable. A shame the tutorial struggles a little at the start as it would of gave it an even higher score than it is getting.- Gamestyle

With the movie being one of the biggest hits of the year ti date, it is a huge disappointment that the game was so far off the mark. We weren't expecting a God of War game but if done right it could of been pretty damn close. The lore was there, the combat, the possible beautiful worlds and yet somehow it was all overlooked and instead we get a decidely 'ok' game.- Gamestyle

There is no such thing as perfection, no matter how much we strive for it, therefore a couple of minor niggles do not distract from a top score. Portal 2 is the Game of the Year so far, it will take something special for it not to take that accolade. Sometimes the anticipation of a games release can leave the final thing feeling a little flat. That is not the case here as Portal 2 lives up to all expectations and then some.- Gamestyle

On it's own Virtua Tennis 4 is a great game but contextualised by previous games in the series, you can't help but feel a distinct sense of deja vu. The perpetual game play can't be masked by slightly better graphics, in the same way that adding pointless elements to the game play can't excuse the fact it's a slightly shinier version of Virtua Tennis 3 with an extra side of clutter.- Gamestyle

The core focus of Homefront is online but with rival releases doing this just as well if not better, there isn't any real incentive. A fun rental perhaps, but spend your money elsewhere and you'll thank us.- Gamestyle

What you do have here though is a game that doesn't hide what it is. It is pure unadulterated violence and it makes sure you are having fun with it, you come out the other end covered in blood and loving the feeling.- Gamestyle

Major League Baseball 2K11 is a fantastic game, a wonderful representation of the sport, if you know your stuff, then you will be in your element. It can be a daunting experience for newcomers, but if you do happen across a copy, then stick with it and you will be rewarded well.- Gamestyle

Swarm is far from perfect, with often frustrating moments, but once again XBLA comes through and gives a game that offers something a little different a market in which it can flourish. At 800 Points there is no reason not to jump in and enjoy all that Swarm has to offer.- Gamestyle

Shadow Vanguard, despite all its bells and whistles, proves to be a lacklustre affair, to be endured rather than enjoyed. Its initial showy promise is just a facade. Move along, there's nothing more to see here.- Gamestyle

That said, overall WWE All Stars is a fine package and will give you a good few hours of fun in the single player, but stick with the offline multiplayer action to get the most of the game. The over the top action of professional wrestling is superbly recreated and is only let down by awful load times.- Gamestyle

Killzone 3 doesn't do anything that the genre hasn't seen before. That said, everything that it does is done very well: the fantastically detailed visuals, the brilliant shooting mechanic, the variation of the levels.- Gamestyle

For every improvement there's an unnecessary change, for every addition there's a prohibitive linchpin unaltered and the biggest changes lie firmly on the spine established in 2009. But it is greater than its predecessor, attune to the legacy of the franchise, less abusive to fandom than Smash Bros. and will reward as much effort as you put in.- Gamestyle

So if you are looking for a quick alien fix that isn't overly expensive and is a gaming classic then this trilogy is best suited for you. The game would of warranted a higher score if it had not been for the camera issue and slight lack of re-playable time, overall decent game.- Gamestyle

Dragon Age 2, like the first, feels like a whisper of a promise rather than a burst of fresh air, always heralding that maybe – just maybe – the next sequel will be better. For now, it is robust, enjoyable and promising. But most of all, it's safe. It's safe.- Gamestyle

If PopCap had of combined the first and second with the best games from both and made a compilation of Plants vs. Zombies, Bejewelled, Feeding Frenzy 1/2 and Zuma then they would definitely of had a winner on their hands, but due to the fact that both volumes have been weakened by other games it is hard to rate higher than we have, even though 1 or 2 of the games are true gems.- Gamestyle

chick chick BOOM does a lot of things right. It looks and sounds polished and attractive and the core mechanics have promise. It feels like it deserves better. But comparisons with luminary artillery games are foolish; there are too many imperfections to leave them unmentioned and any multiplayer game that leaves you celebrating the end for the end's sake is a failure. chick chick BOOM could have, should have been so much more: a tremendous shame that it is not.- Gamestyle

If you have never played Beyond Good & Evil, then you owe it to yourself to see why those that had, would go on and on about it. If you have played the game before and loved it, then you will be wanting that teased and rumoured sequel that appeared to be dead in the water. Buy this, show Ubisoft that we are ready for a new game. Regardless of anything, buy it because you know you want to play it again in glorious HD.- Gamestyle
