It can be easy to dismiss a game like De Blob 2, an average Wii exclusive that didn't really make waves in sales and branded as Syfy Kids. However, in doing so, you would be missing out on a game that is a joy to play.

It isn't a Katamari game, but Drinkbox Studios did a fine job of recreating the mechanic and turning it into something of their own. This isn't the best game on PSN, but it is a worthy addition to your collection.

Double Fine have produced some brilliance in Stacking and it is a more than worthy addition to any collection.

It's easy to pick up and play with a fair spread of checkpoints throughout the levels which works well for the quick bursts required with mobile games.

Sky Force represents good value and is fun and challenging. However it isn't without its faults, with maybe an option to turn auto-fire on and off being a nice addition. In the main though this is another excellent addition to the Minis library, which continues to produces excellent titles, yet continues to be very under-rated.

It never manages to be unique, but does little wrong, and a worthy addiction if you're a fan of the genre.

Blacklight: Tango Down is a solid first person shooter with a depth of customisation to rival Call of Duty. With its retro-futuristic style, it does enough to stand out in a crowded genre, but is let down by bland presentation and questionable ommisions.

It's a budget title at a budget price, and certainly stocking filler material, but don't expect entertainment beyond an hour of playtime.

Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet is a mess of a game.

It's a lovely looking game, with a great cell-shaded style, and bags of character. The frustration caused by the trial and error approach to the levels ruins the enjoyment to some extent, but persistence leads to immense satisfaction.

This ugly duckling, with elements of poor execution somehow manages to provide a captivating and distinctive experience. It shouldn't, but somehow it all comes together to deliver a gem of a game. Remarkable.

This game has so much going for it, but the crippling problems make it hard to recommend as more than a rental.

TRON: Evolution is a solid romp, whose entertainment is hampered by some niggling control and camera issues.

It has to be said that Dark Energy Digital deserve a lot of praise for making the changes they did from the original release. Hydrophobia is still an entertaining but flawed title. If you can see beyond the flaws you will have a fun time with a game that doesn't excel but also shouldn't be ignored.

Legends Of War: Patton's Campaign isn't an essential purchase but it is a nice surprise for owners of a PSP. Fun and accessible without being condescending to experts. A worthy addition to your PSP library.

Ultimately if you are looking for a mini-game to entertain the kids or provide a distraction over the festive period, Travel in Time is a worthy candidate. Attractively priced, this makes up for its shortcomings and what might have been.

Overall, if you go into Dreamworks Megamind: Ultimate Showdown, expecting a huge challenge and a deep gaming experience you will be sorely disappointed. However, is you have a family and especially young children, it is a nice title that can be enjoyed as a family with satisfaction guaranteed.

Battle Islands offers a decent balance of difficulty with plenty of assistance for those entering the battlefield for the first time.

At a budget price you get exactly what you pay for. It is the original NBA Jam given a lick of HD paint, while retaining all the charisma of the original. If you want a Basketball fix but find the likes of NBA 2K11 too complicated and complex to pick up an play then you can't go wrong with this.

The meat of the game comes in the form of the career mode.

It's more of a loving homage to the original, updating the aesthetics and stages while retaining everything that made the original so great.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit both disappoints and delights. The excitement and thrill of high-speed chases is marred by the bland and stale routes on which they take place.

While Gamestyle loves the on track handling, the pursuit of new vehicles and driving excellence, Gran Turismo 5 fails to achieve its goals or address its bad habits. Full of distractions and pretty eye candy, beneath the bonnet, the chassis is in serious need of attention.

Overall Kinect Sports can be seen as a success and gives the peripheral a strong foundation. A must have default option for every Kinect owner it offers a great night in if you don't wish to venture outside.

And play it you will because when it comes to score attacks, then Pinball tables were the best years ago and Zen Studios are making sure that even in this current digital age of gaming Pinball is leading the way once again.

There are much better Kinect games available and more deserving of your time than this.

Potter fans will be disappointed by this lazy attempt that is substandard fare and lacks options. EA Bright Light will have to revolutionise its approach if the franchise is to end on a high.
