Etherborn is a short and sweet platform-like puzzler game. It features surreal, artistic graphics, beautiful music, "ethereal" controls and is in itself quite unique. The downside is the game can be completed in three to five hours at the cost of $16.99 USD. You'll need to decide if you think it's worth the cost but we hope you do. Otherwise, you will miss out on a challenging puzzle game that is unlike any other game out there.- GameSpace

If you have been itching for a Metroidvania game with a good sense of humor and a new level of challenge, A Robot Named Fight is worth the investment of time and $12.99 USD. Your metal will be tested as you throw a lot of robots at a ton of meat, but the Megabeast must be vanquished and its secrets must be revealed - in at least one of its multiple endings.- GameSpace

Gaijinworks’ latest game isn’t the big AAA JRPG like Final Fantasy. It’s more intimate, along the lines of Disgaea, and some might say it deserves the same following as that popular series. While Summon Night 6 is an overall good game, it also doesn’t do quite enough to differentiate itself from the crop of tactical RPGs already available on PS4 and PS Vita.- GameSpace

39 Days to Mars an amusing puzzle-adventure that manages to hit the right steampunk notes while mostly preserving that understated British charm. It’s worth breaking out to play with friends, particularly if you’re getting cheered or heckled by an alcohol-infused rabble. Foregone is a solid offering. Combat, progression, and platforming are all fast, fluid, and engaging. Crossing Souls may still be a game I revisit when I need to be comforted by the sheer joy of its characters, world, references, and music. Fourattic clearly loves the era as much as many of us do, and it shows. For all its references, the callbacks to different pop culture events never feel forced. Crossing Souls is a helluva fun ride, and a game I’d strongly recommend to anyone with a love of He-Man, coin-op arcades, and bitchin’ synth tunes.- GameSpace

Maneater is just the type of game a shark enthusiast, such as myself, has been waiting for. The sharks get their revenge on humans and other predators as it grows. The combat and swimming systems work very well, and mix well with the blood and gore that gives a realistic feel to the title. I loved most aspects of the game and the story and will enjoy playing it through to completion to reach the ultimate evolution. For $39.99 USD this is a very beautiful game about sharks and while some areas may lack fullness it is worth that price.- GameSpace

Minecraft Dungeons is a light take on a genre that oftentimes takes itself much too seriously. The story is family-friendly, most levels are good recreations of the Minecraft biomes, and the gloom, blood, and gore of most ARPGs are replaced with the cute monsters and iconic items we know and love from the Minecraft universe. With a short campaign mode and lack of crafting, Minecraft Dungeons may not be a hardcore offering that will give you hundreds of hours of play, but it is a perfect way to spend a few hours playing together with friends or your kids while you wait for the next season of your favorite dungeon crawler to start up.- GameSpace

While yes…there are still some performance problems, Saints Row the Third Remastered is a helluva fun game, especially with friends. The story missions will have you rolling with laughter, and there’s no setback if you find yourself in the middle of a shootout between all three gangs and the Steelport police. It’s just all good fun. And with all the craziness going on in the world, it’s nice to have a game to lose yourself in that makes you not take yourself quite as seriously and reminds you to be thankful for the time you have and tackle life one day at a time.- GameSpace

Immortal Realms: Vampire Wars is not a bad game. It is, however, a game that missed its chance at greatness. I’m not smart enough to say what could have been different to really knock the experience out of the park, but the demerits listed above may provide a good starting point. Even so, it’s very much worth a try if you like marching armies of undead across the landscape, or if you really want yet another strategy game. I would be inclined to buy it, even if for its thematic elements, and I would very much like to see where the developers go in the future with this IP, but for the product in front of me, it’s an ok game.- GameSpace

The content is not at fault, nor is the level design and replay value. This one’s a blast to play with friends, and that may be its most saving grace. The sluggishness of movement and shooting is halved when you’re playing with a good friend who can share in the mayhem. It also allows online play with friends, strangers, or by invite only so you can tailor your desired experience. Sure, the idea’s aren’t genre defining and the story itself is a bit of a cheesy romp, but when my biggest complaint is that the port to Nintendo Switch could really have done with narrative and UI text that isn’t minuscule, there’s not a lot wrong. Pathway is a wonderfully upbeat ode to adventure flicks of old. The deliberately arcane pixel art shines though while the tone and setting never make gameplay a second fiddle. One thing that I do appreciate is that they recognized and use the vehicle of gaming as a workable, productive, and even ideal arena to introduce and engage in conversations of relative pertinence to our lives, what our lives may become, and how we approach considerations of options.- GameSpace

Simply put this is a valuable collector's item not just for horror fans but for anyone fond of the '80s to share with future generations for years to come or just to fire up whenever you need to visit that hockey mask-wearing terror.- GameSpace

Maid of Sker had a few jump scares here and there, but it was the tension and curiosity of the unknown that kept me invested in moving forward. After the first hour or so of my playthrough, it stopped being quite as scary, and had me hooked into the narrative, struggling to piece together what was real. Like the beautifully haunting siren’s song that persists throughout Maid of Sker, I was lulled into a trance, needing to see Thomas’s journey through to the end. There are few games that have captured my attention as much as Maid of Sker, and I think for any fan of the horror genre, especially those that love to explore, it would be an absolute disservice not to give this game a try if not for the story alone.- GameSpace

The story alone really does make My Memory of Us worth the purchase. It manages to toe the line between childlike innocence and emotional gravitas brilliantly, all the while providing some enjoyable enough gameplay.- GameSpace

Rehydrated doesn’t offer up more than a few hours-worth of content to distract from the doldrum. It took me roughly 8 hours to beat the story, but it would probably take up to 12 to collect everything. If you’re looking for a new game to play in quarantine, this isn’t it. Despite the nostalgia, I honestly can’t recommend this game to anyone except for families with small children. There’s no penalty for dying, except for having to backtrack through areas, and the combat is simplistic enough that any kid will be able to pick it up easily. The good news is that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is only $29.99. The bad news is that I still think that’s overpriced.- GameSpace

Steel Rats ultimately ends up being a good platforming game idea marred by unfortunate controls and physics, Combine that with a storyline that seems to be trying too hard to be taken seriously and you're left with almost no driving reason to play other than stubbornness, which does not really equate to fun.- GameSpace

Square Enix's attempt at a card-based game has come up all Aces! The spoken story and card mechanics are relaxing and entertaining. The JRPG-like artwork is beautiful and fits the presentation well. Everything about the game retains that Square Enix RPG charm we've come to expect! The game compels you to leave no card unturned and when all is said and done Voice Of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars is a welcome break from the hectic and frantic pace of other game types!- GameSpace

Stela was an excellent experience for me, I loved the atmosphere, music, storytelling, and found it very relaxing to play. The downsides though hold me back from recommending it for everyone. Between the very simple gameplay mechanics, at times temperamental controls, low difficulty (additional difficulty levels would have been nice), and short playtime you may be better off waiting for a sale. On the plus side if you are reading this review within a few days of its publishing date Stella is currently on the Steam summer sale for a great price. Hopefully, if the developers decide to make a sequel to the game they can improve and/or correct some of the issues noted above.- GameSpace

Gundam Versus is a fun game. If you love the Gundam series you will find something about this to like I’m sure. There is a possibility of gameplay getting stale after a while because it’s a lather-rinse experience of playing, get XP, then unlock something.- GameSpace

Playing a thief is never easy, but Seven: The Days Long Gone makes it fun. This new isometric RPG is packed with a few amazing elements one of the best is the deep dark story. Seven plays well but can be unforgiving at times, just the like world it takes place in. For fans of isometric RPGs, Seven delivers a lot of surprises.- GameSpace

The Hong Kong Massacre is a fun game that definitely delivers in the feel of those Hong Kong action movies. But input lag with controls and repetitive levels take away from it. More weapons or weapon choices that actually seemed to matter would’ve helped the game as well. If you like this type of game, in this setting and don’t mind a few issues it’s worth the buy at its budget price.- GameSpace

So, does Star Wars Battlefront II fulfill the Star Wars fantasy? I believe it does, but it’s a very Empire Strikes Back fantasy; it’s not all lightsabers and Force-using. Sometimes it takes a blaster or two to get the job done or some fancy flying. It may require some frustrating moments of Dagoba-style training. At the end of the day, no matter who gets frozen in carbonite or loses a hand, you’ve got your squad to think about. Only together can you overcome the odds stacked against you.- GameSpace

60 Parsecs is this mad chaotic race to begin with that descends into slow decay. What keeps it engaging is the random layout each time you start a new game to do your 60 second dash and the different tasks assigned daily each time.- GameSpace

Without spoiling any more of the story, Inked will take you on an adventure of grief, loss, and healing. It does, as stated in the beginning, what good art should do: provoke thought and feeling. It is gorgeous in its presentation, but flawed in some of the execution of its gameplay features and controls.- GameSpace

Kill it with Fire serves up a delightful arachnid squishing dish with a side of explosions and mayhem. At the time of the review, however, it was beset by less desirable bugs – not altogether game breaking, but frustrating nonetheless. Otherwise hampered by its lack of content, Kill it with Fire nevertheless entertains quite well.- GameSpace
