I enjoyed every moment of Lost Ember, and when I stopped playing, I just wanted to get back in the game and wander around more and find more of the memories. The way the wolf and ember’s stories interweave is also touching and drew me into the world. It’s only about 6 hours long, depending on how much time is spent exploring, but it’s a great focused adventure game.- GameSpace

It’s familiar, we know it, and experiencing it in VR immediately shows what this tech is capable of. It’s what gamers have been asking for: a real, full-fledged game, not an experience. There are rough edges and things Bethesda needs to fix, but it’s an achievement nonetheless.- GameSpace

Overall Flashpoint adds a good amount of content to the base game. Flashpoints can be played if you’ve already beat the game or as a part of the game experience as you level. At $20 USD it offers new missions, new short stories, arguably one of the best melee mechs ever and a lush tropical biome to play around in. If you enjoyed the base game, you’ll love Flashpoint- GameSpace

DARQ Complete Edition for the Nintendo Switch is a joy to play if you like creative, physics-based puzzlers with a touch of platforming. The "wow factor" from this one is an exhilarating reactive emotion for many of these unique, dimension bending solutions. If you like low-key puzzle games, with a dark Tim Burton presentation-quality, all at an affordable price then place this on your "must buy" list!- GameSpace

Windjammers 2 is the jeep full of beach-bound hardbodies to my chubby, brooding, long-sleeved wallflower. Its mechanics, while taught in the most obtuse and uninteractive way possible, are more robust than they initially appear. It doesn't last, but it's fun while it does.- GameSpace

Those willing to tolerate a dull beginning and archaic exploration for the sake of a stunning ending and deep (if imperfect) lore will have a blast in Arknights: Endfield. This is a game for fans of the Arknights universe and for those who seek narrative in gacha games, not just action. But those short on time, who aren't ready to spend time with a map on their phone and who want an engaging, advanced combat might not find what they seek. This is a game of contrasts: in some places it's brilliant, in others it falls into the abyss, but it has colossal potential. It’s worth waiting to see where it goes in the future.- GameSpace

The Surge 2 feels more like a heavy update for the original game with minor gameplay changes, new world and settings, and well-designed bosses. Wytchwood is a dark fantasy indie adventure game that immerses you into a phantasmagorical land with endless troubles thanks to the villainous animal antagonists that inhabit it. Luckily, or not so luckily, you play an old witch who has made a pact with an ancient, black goat that's fond of eating grimoire pages and expects you to do something about the fairytale world's woes. What ensues is hours of hilariously creative dialogue and story, framed by colorful characters, relaxing music, and an enjoyable crafting system. There are always more spells to cast and mushrooms to pick for those that know where to look. Wytchwood is one of those rare gems that supports its rich story with a very successful crafting and gathering system that rewards creative and conniving crones. Collect all the souls and maybe, just maybe, you can enjoy that nap in your rocking chair without fairytale creatures knocking down your door for help. Who are we kidding? There's always another villain.- GameSpace

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream sets an impressively high bar from the opening moments and consistently maintains it throughout the experience. Cosmic Star Heroine is an homage to classic 90s sci-fi RPGS, and it works really well to evoke that sense of adventure. The strength of Return to Grace lies in the writing and the incredible voice acting. The cast is made up of well-known industry talents, the cast effectively brings out each personality with great depth. Without such strong actors, A Return to Grace could have easily vanished into a sea of cautionary tales about artificial intelligence. The authors classify "Return to Grace" as science fiction in the style of the 1960s. Closer to fantasy in a sci-fi setting, with a good dose of gentle humor, with bright character and even superbly voiced characters, with simple gameplay. The most pleasant thing is to spend the evening without straining.- GameSpace

As a reviewer, I cannot handwave this experience away even if Owlcat Games is a studio well-known for their strong post-launch support, yet rating the game on what I’ve actually played through would also be unfair to its final build. This is why this review comes out unscored with an update to follow once I had enough time and a chance to test some of the pricklier parts of the game that were problematic in the early version to compare the performance. Never Give Up is a proper progression from its predecessor, Give Up. While the gameplay may be simplistic in nature, there is still a lot of challenge here that will certainly appeal to more die hard retro platformer gamers. The pop culture and humorous comments are certain to lighten the experience of what would otherwise be a, sometimes frustrating, monotone title. Still, Never Give Up sets the stage to challenge and delight the right kind of gamer. Perhaps the type that enjoys difficult platformers as well as those that might be mildly masochistic.- GameSpace

Not only is it one of the best Warriors spin-offs to date, but chances are you’re a Zelda fan if you own the Switch and it’s just a great spinoff of Link’s adventures altogether. Can it get repetitive? Sure, but that’s the nature of Action RPGs like this – Warriors games are essentially 3rd-Person Diablos without the loot hunt. Playing coop is a joy, the Adventure Mode is an awesome addition, and raising your own fairy is surprisingly cute and meaningful. Signs of the Sojourner is a slice of life deck building narrative game. If that was more than a mouthful for you, you may consider steering clear of this game as the conversation based game-play will careen you down a narrative driven path rife with haggling and sometimes fleeting relationships. For the right gamer, Signs of the Sojourner will provide the kind of unique game play that you can't find anywhere else. For deck builder fans, you may find it hit or miss to your tastes, but if battling is more your speed, this might not be up your alley.- GameSpace

It manages to tick all the genre tropes but with a knowing sense of its own ridiculousness. At times the writing can be a little uninspired, but when it decides to forge its own path, Lovingly Evil and its more inventive moments is as ridiculous as an army of trained murder squirrels, assuming your evil plan involves trained murder squirrels. With a sinfully gluttonous amount of replay value and some inventive ideas, Lovingly Evil won’t conquer the world but it might annex your heart, plant a flag, and start taxing you per beat.- GameSpace

Spellforce: Conquest of Eo is a delightful spin on the 4X strategy genre. However, it remains just a step away from being truly ambitious with most systems continuing to play the second fiddle to the overall exploration and management.- GameSpace

If you are looking for a small-sized game coming in at a whopping 400MB that can provide hours of enjoyment for you are even other guests, well this title is one that I would highly recommend. The price is also very reasonable $14.99. With smooth graphics and a wonderful ability to be picked up and played at any given time this makes Pure Pool a valued purchase.- GameSpace

The Sims 4 Get Famous brings a lot of extra gameplay for the player who likes to min-max or get directly involved in their Sims' lives. Stardom is not easily won and even harder to mitigate and maintain, but the rewards and sense of accomplishment for meeting new milestones is a great incentive.- GameSpace

Solo is not without merit. It is an ambitious and charming attempt to take players on a different adventure. The emphasis on emotional exploration just seems to feel slightly blunt.- GameSpace

Overall Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a great game. It’s a case of if it’s not broke, don’t fix it, but it’s been improved on with some beautiful graphics and refining of basic gameplay. TaleWorlds continues to polish it with patches and listen to their community about it. This is hands down one of the best games that let you charge with your cavalry archers while you charge ahead with your lance to end banditry in the area and everything in between.- GameSpace

Avowed is first and foremost an RPG, maybe not the one everyone wanted, not the one you'd expect from the legendary Obsidian, but it's a step forward after Outer Worlds (which wasn't bad), albeit a small one. It's a sign that the studio is still alive, even if not quite in the form they wanted. And there is hope that there will be more good games from Obsidian in the future.- GameSpace

A move to Racoon City wouldn't be the best choice right now. Resident Evil 3 is everything that you wanted from the game the first time around. Rooted in the same claustrophobic alleyways of the first incarnation, this return to a classic manages to enhance the original while edging in its own direction.- GameSpace

Palia is a casual, comfortable life sim that warmly welcomes players both old and new. The game features a cast of diverse NPCs to befriend or romance and a peaceful, smooth gameplay loop where any of your activities add to your overall progression without being overbearing or stressful. The recent Elderwood expansion introduced more content and activities, but did not add anything strictly brand-new or revolutionary.- GameSpace

From the space action adventure you expect chemistry between characters, interesting plot, spectacular shootouts and cool fights. But it's as if Ubisoft didn't realize that and didn't want to spend money on the most important things. That's why Star Wars Outlaws turned out to be a good, but rather passable game that looks bad in the scenes where it should shine. However, it's not a complete failure as many predicted - fans of Star Wars and space adventures still have something to do here. And if you ask me if I'd recommend this game, I'd say yes, but it's worth waiting for the bug to be fixed or for the community to finish the game itself.- GameSpace

KARMA: The Dark World cannot be called a masterpiece: the gameplay is uneven, and the metaphorical plot is interrupted quite suddenly, as if the story is not told to the end. But it is definitely a worthy psychological thriller, which keeps you in suspense until the very end and cleverly plays with emotions, so much so that you get an uncomfortable feeling of being in this monstrous dystopia.- GameSpace

Crunching Koalas has managed to create a hybrid of two classic games and turn it into something challenging and fun. Mousecraft is based on a light-hearted cartoonish story that manages to be family-friendly. Each series of levels manages to introduce new concepts that make levels feel non-repetitive. The developers allowed for players to play their own level of challenge whether it's using the active pause, fast forward or multi-level undo function. While short, but well priced, and it plays well on the Nintendo Switch any devout puzzle gamer fan shouldn't pass up playing this slab of cheesy gaming fun!- GameSpace

This year’s game is one of the better ones that I have played in years. With the inclusion of voice acting for your main character in career mode, to the showcase mode taking one of my favorite wrestlers, Daniel Bryan, and walking through his career, it makes for a really fun and good time.- GameSpace

When all is said and done, the strong gameplay overcomes the flaws in the game. While the graphics are hit and miss, the modding community has already started making improvements. If you are tired of the typical racing sim, or are looking for a more realistic off-road experience, Spintires: MudRunner may be the game for you. And you won’t have to stop by the carwash when you get done.- GameSpace

Star Renegades is a fun, challenging Rogue-lite RPG. Its creative use of familiar game mechanics is a bit of a double-edged (laser)sword. On the one hand, once you get the rhythm of gameplay and world navigation it's a great gameplay experience. However getting to that point can be a bit of a slog, especially for gamers who are dipping their toes in the genre. Overall, though, Massive Damage has created a game that sets itself apart enough with its unique gameplay and premise, that it’s worth taking a look at.- GameSpace
