It's definitely the best translation of the traditional D&D game to the PC format. The incorporation of the D&D 3.5 Edition ruleset is great, and works a lot better that the severely lacking and awkward Ruins Of Myth Drannor, released earlier this year.

There’s just not a lot of “wow” here and it feels like a Vectrex game: it’s the same gameplay as any other on-rails FPS, but you’ve just changed the overlay on the screen to a Western.

It is seriously fun and I found myself playing this game late into the night just trying to beat "one more mission."

The thing I hate most about the way this game looks has to be the overall cartoon-like appearance of the characters. Add that to the blatant lack of style (i.e. fog, ambient lighting effects, etc.), and what you get is a colorful "Fighting Force 2" clone with added gore.

The real appeal of Spy Hunter comes from the gameplay and the controls. The handling is exquisite.

Imagine the L.A. skyline during rush hour, condensed into the perimeter of a city block, and you have a good idea of how thick the trademark fog has become.

Stacking is still one of the weirdest and most wonderful adventures on the downloadable market, and Hobo King offers delights that are stranger and funnier still. It's a must-buy, unless you're too squeamish to deal with stinky cheese and "already been chewed" fish.

In the end, Guitar Hero: On Tour is a blast to play with friends or alone, but it's hard to shake the feeling that any videogame not called Track and Field should be such a physical endurance challenge.

There's nothing in here that transforms the LEGO experience for the better or worse, but it may be the best Pirates of the Caribbean game produced thus far.

It's far from the best-looking game on the market, but it's also far from the worst, and the gameplay makes up for it anyway.

At the end of the day, if you can look past the utterly stupid story and just enjoy the game for what it is, a fast paced, high scoring, arcade shooter, you'll probably find yourself having a lot of fun.

With four character story lines to complete, dozens of bullets to find, multiplayer modes and the ability to create custom beat combos, there’s a lot to do in Draglade, it’s just not all that exciting to actually do it.

There's clearly room for improvement, including a more aggressive AI, but over 30 hours later and I'm still playing it. Not bad for a simple take on Civ with some dragons thrown in.

It’s still an arcade game, no question about it; this is not a pure simulation of the sport, because of the over the top hitting and offensive AI, but as arcade hockey games go, this one’s a winner.

Lionheart remains appealing throughout because of how well it captures the period. It's not a perfect historical representation, of course, but it puts you in the seat of two all-conquering medieval heroes.

Probably the single thing I dislike the most about X3: Reunion is that I’m ultimately left with exactly the same impression I was with X2, in that it adds a bunch of cool stuff and helps expand the universe further, but still is a concept badly in need of higher production values (though I will credit the game with having excellent music) and extreme amounts of refinement.

Nintendo fans will jump all over this but Treasure fans and casual game players may just want to rent this one out.

Grab your sense of humor and your plastic axe and give Lego Rock Band a try.

All things considered, this is a Final Fantasy game that expects you to pray at the altar of grind. 4 Heroes embraces the goddess of grind unapologetically, but throws in enough changes to the system to create something that's worth experiencing.

Take any thoughts of how the game is based on a movie out of your head, as The Bourne Conspiracy is a compelling action game built on mostly solid gameplay ideas.

Space Bust-a-Move doesn’t significantly improve upon its classic arcade predecessor, but there’s nothing wrong with that. It offers the same intense, fast-paced gameplay that we all know and love from Bust-a-Move, except that it’s in an outer space setting.

I for one found the game rather intriguing even with its faults. Perhaps in the next product iteration Capcom will add a little more inter-player communication to the game and really push it over the top.

Fanatics and realists should head for "Amped." Folks looking for a fun, solid game that just happens to take place on the snow will probably like Dark Summit.

Quite impressive in the visuals department. Backgrounds, boats, weapons, explosions and characters are all quite detailed, and the little things like Kai turning to look back when you go in reverse are really neat.

While the game still holds up, there's nothing really added to it, other than a bunch of "Paper Mario" inspired cinemas and a few new characters.

If this is what we're going to see after the exclusive license was inked, then Xbox baseball fans are going to be worse off because of it.

It may take some finagling to find it, but there is a solid flight game beneath the problems. It's just a bummer that you have to dig into several menus, find some buddies, and replay the campaign repeatedly to get to it.

The game is set up almost on a freemium monetization model, but it's a $15 download. And at that price, it does feel a little thin on content- particularly when you're practically asked for your credit card if you want to put a cape on your guy or to buy one of those notorious XP-doubling pills. Granted, most of what you can buy with real money is nothing that any sane adult would care anything about- video game clothes, in-game "mascots", and so forth- but the concept points the way to a future where we'll be paying for FPS games by the bullet.
