Finally, finally, FINALLY: someone got it right. Infogrames has produced one of the greatest 'Classic' discs in a long time.

A no-brainer for fans of the genre. Those new to light-gun games will enjoy it too. However, for the longtime gamer who's tried of the genre, The House of the Dead III won't offer anything new to hook them.

Axel and Pixel isn't breaking any new ground with its adventure puzzles but it does offer a fanciful and (mostly) low pressure gaming experience filled with plenty of delightful touches.

Maybe Secret Agent Clank scratches that Ratchet and Clank humorous blasting itch for you. For me it didn't. Too much repetition, too much stealth and too little story flow left me cold.

Even though Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 is a short ride, it's a fun one.

While this game doesn't break any boundaries and delivers some somewhat clichéd anime style storytelling, there's no denying that the game offers an underlying charm that fans of the genre can sink their collective teeth into.

There's nothing to complain about aside from the plain visuals (the up-rez helps, but it also serves to show how visually spartan the Wii game had to be to run so well on the hardware). This was a very good game last year, and it still holds up, despite not being the truly impressive achievement that it was on the Wii. There's no need to re-buy if you have already experienced it, but if not, this is a solid reboot of a true classic.

With NASCAR 07, you get the feeling that not a lot of time was spent updating the game. Yes, the new paint schemes are there, but there's really not much new content here vs. "NASCAR 06."

Divinity II is the kind of game that falls neatly into the category of "guilty pleasure" for me. It's an RPG that doesn't really break new ground, but plays well enough and provides a challenge.

A fresh and near flawless game that will envelop you early on for hours upon hours of watching and playing time with its engaging storyline and gorgeous graphics and will keep you wrapped around its little finger until the final showdown with the mysterious enemy.

The cel-shaded gimmick quickly proves unable to support an otherwise unremarkable title, falling to the roadside next to ragdoll physics and destructible terrain.

If you haven't played MA, then grab this one for all the bonus items. If you already have the first MA, then you'll only need this if you want 6 extra characters.

The pace of the game does start slow for the first few racers on the blacklist, but once you start to win races and are able to upgrade your ride, the game quickly ramps up the speed and difficulty and provides for some fantastic racing action. That is, until the cops arrive and ruin all the fun, literally.

If this were a console game, I’d be rather upset with the limited number of play modes; however the modes fit the PSP perfectly and makes a good pick up and play game.

The world itself is actually incredibly cool – it’s a giant representation of the “real” world, from a tiny mushroom’s perspective.

Other than the controls of the weapons and poor aiming model, the great graphics and fantastic voice over work help make Army of Two a solid if unspectacular outing.

When you're not being dragged throughout the game, you'll love the sharp, extremely well done graphics that hide a horrible truth; the programmer's were either extremely rushed or very lazy.

Like the other Hunter games, features a limp sound track, silly dialog, and giant swarms of monsters. It's also really meant to be played multiplayer; the person playing by themselves is likely to end up frustrated by the amount of baddies and the punishing difficulty of boss battles.

What you will find though, is a very engaging and flexible method of combat unlike anything you're playing right now. I know I was doubtful when I first heard of the game, but if you're looking for something that lights a new fire under the RPGs of old, put your doubts aside and give Battle Slots a try.

The control scheme for each game can be set up individually to however you like within the options and menu settings, although most of the similar games found in the assortment can use the same layout for each.

It's initially quite good, until the horrible story and unnecessary puzzles drag it down.

Super Swing Golf is a cute golf game with an interesting story mode, but does not add anything new to the genre aside from the Wii-mote gameplay. It’s primarily for arcade golf fans, but it’s definitely worth a rental.

I admire the developer's attempt to present a story and puzzles where partnership and collusion are the principle themes and while I was playing it I genuinely enjoyed working through each area and finding the collectible items. By the end, I found that I was more than ready to wrap it up and put its boring combat, snoozer story, and shaky production quality to rest for good.

It’s an “A” game saddled with “C” game issues, but it’s still an addicting experience. I routinely found myself playing into the wee hours of the night, butchering gnomes with glee; camera issues (and all sense of morality) be damned.

Fix the damn game up, give me an actual living universe, and a combat system that makes sense, then we'll talk. Until that point, I'm going to blast through "Freespace 2" again and look forward to the online-only rendition of the game series (due out in the distant future) with hesitant anticipation.

The game is best played in small chunks, which, given the attention span of most puppies, is appropriate, but those looking for a deep gameplay experience may be put off.

Even with the addition of the Easy difficulty, Shiren the Wanderer is made for selective tastes. Fans of traditional RPGs will have a hard time reconciling the Spartan storytelling and visuals, while fans of turn-based strategies will likely take issue with the simplicity of combat.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is in the weird limbo land between update and full release. There's plenty of content here, but most of it isn't new.
