The same old stuff in a new skin and THE WORLD'S WORST LOADING TIME EVER.

The music is where the game really rocks. While it won't be for everyone, if you're into trance and techno you'll be in love with the game.

The singleplayer experience is still woefully sub-par (honestly, what the hell was up with that final battle?), the interface feels a lot slower and clunkier than it needs to be, the multiplayer is laden with a number of bugs, and the game overall just doesn't feel very polished. On the other hand, the graphics are nothing short of amazing, the game is very easy to pick up and play.

Shining Tears is clichéd, has a few flaws in the combat system and is sometimes a little too easy for even one character (let alone a pair of them) to run through. And yet, Despite all its shortcomings, I've really enjoyed playing the game.

While the game seems to have lost some of its luster since coming out 3 years ago (cripe...I feel old...), it's still a solid fighting game.

The replay value is solely in trying to beat the game with progressively more difficult characters, as the multiplayer component isn't going to keep anyone captivated for long.

A difficult to master user interface combined with gameplay that was already too difficult on the PC make for strange bedfellows.

If you haven't played MA, then grab this one for all the bonus items. If you already have the first MA, then you'll only need this if you want 6 extra characters.

While TIJ doesn't exactly fail on any given level, it certainly doesn't really over achieve either. Another movie, another bland game is released. The world continues on.

I was honestly expecting a really neat experience out of Scrapland, but the tedium and ultimate lack of innovation just left me flustered.

A novel and refreshing experience that any fan of the series will definitely want to pick up – but if you hate the series, then this probably won’t help much unless your only complaint involves the awkward controls Armored Core is infamous for, as the new control scheme in AC: Nexus really kicks ass and finally makes the game playable for those of us without immensely twitchy fingers.

The overall presentation (save the camera problems) is nice, the action is engaging (though it does get repetitive after awhile) and the myriad of mini-games, collecting activities (including finding all the townsfolk) and character interactions fill in the gameplay out where there could have been serious holes.

A terrific collection of games from a very influential (though now grossly over-exposed) franchise that none the less fails as a full-featured compilation.

It's not the kind of innovation that's required to mete out a stellar score. But for gamers who are interested in the KoF series but haven't collected all of the installments, this represents the best value in years.

The only problem I noticed was a very rare slowdown caused by too many sprites on the screen. While it can be annoying when it happens, the occurrence is so sporadic that it's barely noticeable.

If you've beaten "Streets of Rage" twenty times and need a modern-day equivalent, look no further, because this is an amazingly fun multiplayer game that brings back that old-school feeling with 3D class.

When you're not being dragged throughout the game, you'll love the sharp, extremely well done graphics that hide a horrible truth; the programmer's were either extremely rushed or very lazy.

Like a creepy, surly teenager on his first day of high school, this game simply tries too hard to be cool and achieves very little of what it sets out to accomplish.

This could be a good party game, but it shoots itself in the foot by only giving you a handful of arenas and four monsters to start with. Unfortunately, going through the monotonous Adventure Mode several times to unlock enough stages and monsters for a good variety is a daunting prospect.

Fans of the X series may not be prepared to deal with the turn-based nature of the combat in the game, or the unsettling number of encounters they'll have to endure before the game comes to a climax.

Like "Donkey Konga," Taiko Drum Master ultimately suffers from being a one-trick pony that grows a bit boring after playing the included songs enough times.

There's nothing like towering over a squad of infantry troops in a mech and obliterating them with a flick of your retro rockets rather then wasting ammo. I felt that was a nice touch.
