A substantial improvement over the original game. It’s very fun to play and although you’ll probably finish campaign mode in a day or two, there’s enough online replay value to get you through the season.- GameShark

Mirror’s Edge is not the fully-fledged Parkour game that I was hoping for, and it stumbles over and over in its attempts to be a shooter. It can be needlessly frustrating and begrudgingly repetitive, but equally and truly awe-inspiring. If you can trudge through the story, the Time Trials provide one of the most intense and liberating platforming experiences to date, and ironically, it just might inspire you to turn off the TV and get outside.- GameShark

Annoyances aside, LEGO Batman is arguably the best of the LEGO games. It’s certainly not revolutionary, but it represents a very smart, very fun evolution on a proven formula.- GameShark

I would pick True Swing Golf over Tiger just due to it’s innovative stylus swinging system.- GameShark

A tough love of a game. You won't get into it right away, and for the first few hours you'll be finding yourself swearing more than playing. But with a little patience, and a few grains of salt, it becomes a rather fun RPG.- GameShark

It’s definitely a summer sleeper hit. At 800 points ($10) it’s double the cost of Frogger and Galaga, but I think you’ll get much more enjoyment out of this one game over those two arcade classics.- GameShark

Sure it has its problems, but it is a drop-dead gorgeous game and sometimes you're not looking for a rocket scientist; you're just looking for a good time.- GameShark

It keeps the tension high as you gun your way through the game, but the adrenaline begins to taste sour long before the game is finished.- GameShark

This game would be the same if you were racing on a snowboard, a sled, or a greased up fat guy. Okay the greased up fat guy would probably raise the fun factor, but you get the idea.- GameShark

A very nice looking game that sports huge waves, great water effects and the surf girls that bring you back to the wave.- GameShark

You'll be grinding your teeth every few minutes as you realize the difficulty that Acclaim has sunk into this thing. It's one of those racers where you need to be pretty much perfect each time, as well as constantly upgrading your vehicle.- GameShark

With so many long-desired improvements and completely new features, SvR 2010 may be the best game of the series.- GameShark

In the end, Red Dead Redemption is going to please a lot of gamers who are simply starved for a new world to explore and the Wild West, even though the game takes place at the end of that era, is ripe for the taking.- GameShark

Over all PES 2008 for the 360 is a mixed bag – it plays better, it looks better and you can edit everything; however it still doesn’t have the variety shown on the Wii or PS2, and the online play is only bearable if you can find an opponent to play head to head on the same console.- GameShark

In the end, Future Soldier is a really engaging third-person shooter that tosses you into some hairy firefights armed only with interesting weapons and smooth controls.- GameShark

Basically Hell’s Highway is a great example of a World War II shooter that isn’t just about running around and blasting Nazis. The squad command system makes for plenty of tactical thinking as you outmaneuver your enemy, and though the cover system has its flaws it still comes through in the end.- GameShark

Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love is a rare gem that'll certainly find its niche among anime fans and RPG perfectionists, but I fear that your average gamer won't have the patience for the dialogue and runaround involved in each episode.- GameShark

I know that it sounds like I'm giving you two very different pieces of advice, and I am, but it's not as duplicitous as it sounds. House of the Dead: Overkill is a great game that you should play. If you already have, you're not missing anything by skipping the Extended Cut.- GameShark

The only aspect of Section 8 that truly stands out is how you spawn into the map, leaving the rest of the gameplay to reside in more of the tried-and-true territory established by previous games in the genre.- GameShark

It’s not the poem in game form by any stretch – but it is a gorgeous action game – one of the best looking games you are likely to play and if you’re a 360 gamer who has never experienced a God of War game then it’s actually a fairly easy sell. However, those who know Kratos will quickly realize this is mere imitation.- GameShark

As a showcase for the power of CryENGINE 3, Crysis 2 is a gorgeous showstopper. But as a game, it's an average, action-packed shooter that will thrill you with amazing set-pieces, frustrate you with shoddy AI, and confuse you with a fractured story. If there is one reason you have to play Crysis 2, it is for the fantastic multiplayer.- GameShark

But if you're doing just fine with non-Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and you can live without Ghost Rider, Nemesis, and Vergil, then I wouldn't recommend this for purchase at all. Hardcore fans and competitive players will likely feel that they need to own it and that's understandable, but they're on the short end of the stick as well.- GameShark
