Marvel Ultimate Alliance does what few do – it actually improves on the two original games and adds something new to the series.- GameShark

If you've never played the original game, it's well worth your time to pick it up and while Dark Athena doesn't compare, it's still fun—up to a point.- GameShark

The large variety of fighters, the deep fighting model, and the compelling story that unfolds throughout the game play modes makes this one worth a look.- GameShark

There's clearly room for improvement, including a more aggressive AI, but over 30 hours later and I'm still playing it. Not bad for a simple take on Civ with some dragons thrown in.- GameShark

In the end buying the Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel is like buying the $70 dollar collector's edition of game when you could get it for 49.95. Sure the extras don't really matter but they are cool guilty pleasures that you just have to own.- GameShark

The game experience isn’t all that far removed from the Xbox 360 version (to be fair there is a lot of new content that isn’t available anywhere but on the PS3), but it’s as good a game as any to pick up for PS3 owners starving for some valuable entertainment beyond SCEA’s first-party titles.- GameShark

With such basic visuals and a story that is heavy on dialogue and light on exploration, Devil Survivor doesn’t strain to appeal to a new audience.- GameShark

In the end, Mario Party 9 remains what each game in the series has been: a party game. Part of me wants to berate Nintendo for making nine Mario Party games in little more than a decade, but I've got to applaud them in this case. There's no flashy new control scheme or extraneous microphone peripheral in Mario Party 9. No, in lieu of any fancy new hardware, Nintendo simply gave the old gang the keys to the company car and actually changed the rules of the game for once-and it works surprisingly well.- GameShark

Raccoon City isn't the next real Resident Evil game (though its improved controls do bode well for that game). Instead, it's a mostly solid third-person, cover-based shooter set in the same universe. Granted, it's a little too Evil in spots for its own good, and not Evil enough in others, and certainly not as good as Left 4 Dead unless you don't play well with others. But overall, it's a fun spin-off.- GameShark

Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility is a cute little farm simulation game with some decent additional features. However, even with the new features, it’s still too similar to past games in the series so if you have played these games in the past and they didn’t take, this won’t recharge your farming batteries – but dedicated fans should get their money’s worth.- GameShark

The game is very ambitious for what it is trying to accomplish and although it may have not reached the goal that it wanted to on the Xbox 360, it’s as close as anyone has gotten so far.- GameShark

Still, the game retails at $20 and offers a far more satisfying level of capital ship space combat than any other game I've seen released over the last year.- GameShark

Ok, so there are some issues that keep this from being the pinnacle of Ghostbusters nirvana. It’s still the most fun you can have without strapping on a proton pack, hijacking an old ambulance, and harassing the undead ladies at your local library.- GameShark

They won’t win a lot of prizes with these games, and Mosby’s Confederacy has many of the same problems that Hinterland has – some lack of clarity, repetitiveness, etc. But the strengths outweigh the weaknesses and Mosby’s is absolutely worth a close look.- GameShark

Hard Corps: Uprising has that old Contra feel, including a bit of obligatory missile riding, but Arc System Works manages to carve its own niche with a sharp art-style and the customization of Rising mode. Although it can be painfully rough in some spots, it powers through with barrels blazing and, hopefully, marks the beginning of an amazing series.- GameShark

Once you get a continuous game going to the point you are bored with it, there isn’t much incentive to being a new continuous game, even on a higher difficulty level. It will take you tens of hours to see all the content available to you, and once you do there’s not a lot of reason to go back and see it again.- GameShark

Soccer diehards will love the action on the pitch and the faithfulness to the pageantry of the UEFA Euro competition. However, given the limited scope of this title, it’s hard to justify paying nearly full price unless you’re a soccer junkie.- GameShark

If you can look past the repetitiveness of the arena battles and the sometimes clunky controls of the acrobatics, WET is definitely worth giving a go even if just for its visual and gameplay uniqueness, not to mention its kick ass soundtrack.- GameShark

In creating such an enormous experience you'll need to devote a huge swath of your life to it, and yet it does remarkably little to make that moment to moment grind even moderately fresh. This is a must play for fans of Star Wars who want a traditional MMO experience with high production values and a lot of spoken dialogue. If you're looking for an innovative MMO set in the Star Wars universe, you will likely be disappointed.- GameShark

Heroes of Annihilated Empires is a full package that does have its short comings such as not being able to skip over some of the atrociously slow voice acting but over all is a pretty interesting mixture of the elements that make RPG and RTS games fun to play.- GameShark

The upbeat atmosphere, colorful levels and absolutely hilarious cut scenes make this game well worth playing even if the inflexible save system requires some planning to work around. Even with this limitation, seeing the cities transform from bleak cityscapes to colorful bastions of good cheer and frivolity is like nothing else in gaming today and should be appreciated as such.- GameShark
