For me, Burnout Revenge is more of the same – new tracks, new cars, new events, but same basic gameplay.

There's a lot of hidden extras in this game, and despite a few slight omissions, this collection delivers what it promises on the box. If you're still in love with the Street Fighter Alpha series then this collection is a required purchase.

It's still not the serious no frills golf sim a lot of fans want – but it's getting there.

In the grand scheme of things, this collection of X is quite good, though I prefer the original series for its curtailed story and straightforward gameplay.

That all being said though, Blacklight: Tango Down is a quite solid shooter that combines entertaining gameplay with some unique features and throws it all together into a commendable multiplayer package.

A gorgeous graphical update and two new characters are more than enough to satiate the appetites of ardent followers; however, there really isn’t much here that significantly sets this fifth installment apart from previous efforts. This, along with the glaring lack of online features, makes Virtua Fighter 5 limited in its appeal.

While Starfy can’t compare to the king of the genre, he certainly has a place in Nintendo’s court.

Offers 4 - 6 more hours of the kinetic single-player close quarters combat that made the original game such a stellar hit. While we wish the storyline was a little deeper and the game was a little longer, Extraction Point still delivers what it promises on the box.

Conflict: Denied Ops offers many of the best features that you’ll find in today’s first person shooters, and combines it with an excellent co-op mode and a nice variety of online game modes.

Once you get past the inevitable Pokémon comparisons and let Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 serve up its own brand of monster hunting mayhem, there's an enjoyable combat model and monster synthesis system to be had here.

Overall WEPES 2007 is a fun game, but I was expecting more – new additions, a graphical makeover, better audio etc. The ability to link to the PSP version of the game is nice, but I doubt many people will use it.

As with all the four games before it, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth takes the usual adventure gaming tropes and surrounds them with delightfully complex cases and a healthy dollop of character whackines.

It doesn't reach the same heights as some of the truly great JRPG's available on the DS but it still provides plenty of solid role playing action and introduces a new generation of handheld gamers to the world of Golden Sun.

The improvements are marginal at best (which may be a tribute to just how well FCI was executed on the Xbox) and the game is really not offering anything new in gameplay.

The audio leaves a little to be desired. It’s your standard generic racing soundtrack.

Even though, at it's core, the game is just about killing bugs, saying so doesn't quite do it justice.

This isn’t the turn-based strategy RPG you remember from those consoles. If you like the idea of an RPG that is really mostly an action game, you’ll probably like it.

The strategy elements fall short and are only as important as you choose to make them, but the combination of brutal action and customizable crews is reason enough to warrant a play-through.

Opportunities to get RBIs were very few, 80% of the time when the character was batting it was with the bases empty.

De Blob 2 is not a hard game, not by any stretch of the imagination, and people that were raised on Mario may find the game entirely too easy but the game offers the right level of challenge for kids and people new to platformers.

L.A. Noire is a game you should play, if for no other reason than to experience how one game can be both brilliant and yet relentlessly tedious.

It may feel a bit different from the Final Fantasy you're used to, but Final Fantasy XIII deserves the chance to branch out and develop on its own.

The Rabbids have established themselves as veritable gaming icons in the casual sphere. Their frenzied faces, catchphrases, and ridiculous adventures may grate on the nerves for some, but for a formidable collection of simple-to-learn and difficult to mater mini-games, you could do a lot worse.

There are not as many games like this as there used to be, and hardly any that have the kind scope on display in War in the East. It is a good, very detailed example of the classic hex-based operational wargame.

For those looking for a mindless, fun romp through some of the creepiest environments you'll come across, killing everything in sight with some great tunes and distinctive weapons, Painkiller could be just what you're looking for.

Ultimately, the game provides beautiful graphics and (with the controller) an intensely immersive experience, but just keeps tripping over itself in its attempt to excel or provide new and interesting features.

As an end cap, the game does its job beautifully, wrapping up the Phoenix Wright series, yet at the same time allowing for characters to, hopefully, make an appearance in Capcom’s upcoming Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney game.

The fact that Midway has pared down the number of games from previous offerings does not worry me nearly as much as how much they pared down the historical extras.
