At the end of the day, if you can look past the utterly stupid story and just enjoy the game for what it is, a fast paced, high scoring, arcade shooter, you'll probably find yourself having a lot of fun.- GameShark

What we have with NHL 2k9 is a top shelf hockey game that still needs some tweaking to perfect the on-ice experience. That said, the impact on the authenticity of the game of having such unparalleled realism in the realm of puck physics cannot be overstated.- GameShark

If you got wrapped up in the original game’s story, you’ll almost surely want to see how it comes out, but there is nothing so unique about the game as an RPG that you’ll want to pick it up in the middle.- GameShark

Soccer diehards will love the action on the pitch and the faithfulness to the pageantry of the UEFA Euro competition. However, given the limited scope of this title, it’s hard to justify paying nearly full price unless you’re a soccer junkie.- GameShark

About the only crowd-favorite we seem to have gotten is "Boom Boom Dollar," but that's not to say the other songs stink, because they don't.- GameShark

As good as the game is - aside from the targeting issues and the falling to your death over and over - the story that unfolds is the definite high point.- GameShark

Gamers looking for a super hero fix and think the DC Comics universe of heroes is "all that" should really give this game a shot.- GameShark

Still, for its budget price ($19.99), Metal Slug XX more than delivers on its promise of old-school mayhem.- GameShark

A pretty clear example of why budget titles can be just as worthwhile if not more so than standard retail games. At its core the game is an entertaining fast food simulation, while at the same time the peppy, joyful theme and strange mini-games are a welcome change of pace from the norm.- GameShark

Uncharted 3 isn't a bad game, there's plenty of visual style and action to be seen, the characters are likeable, and there are a few puzzles that will make you think. The problem is that Uncharted 3 sometimes doesn't feel like a game at all, but a movie I'm watching play out without my participation.- GameShark

Now that some of the kinks have been worked out SOCOM Confrontation is worth the time and effort. I’m a big fan of the series and even with the lack of single player, the ancient match making system, and the launch server I am still playing the heck out of it.- GameShark

With a colorful graphic update, five game modes and 150 maps to choose from, it's a good entertainment value...that is, if you're patient enough to accept the old school standards of difficulty and level replay.- GameShark

Tinges of monotony near the end of the game aside, there is plenty here to love, and if you’ve been searching for a good, solid real-time strategy game for consoles that succeeds in spirit where PC-to-console ports have failed, this is a rather smart buy.- GameShark

With gameplay totaling in the neighborhood of 10 to 12 hours, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is not exactly epic in length, but its intriguing and well-crafted story and setting will probably make it a favorite of science fiction fans.- GameShark

Ultimate Ninja 2 is more of the same but with a fresh coat of paint. In my opinion it's got enough meat on its bones to recommend to fans of the original and beat 'em up fans in general. But while the action is pretty easy to get into, the game's victory conditions might prove frustrating to some.- GameShark

The game itself is an enjoyable experience for fans of the series – it’s tweaked just enough to warrant a purchase and the soundtrack is phenomenal. The lack of online and the new guitar controller are a bit of a disappointment, but the game still rocks and is recommended for those that have yet to take the next-gen console plunge.- GameShark

There’s more than enough story, combat, and customization to keep you Blue Dragon for a long, long time; the game stretches out over three discs, an impressive enough feat back in the days of the PlayStation, but truly staggering on the 360.- GameShark

Evil Dead Regeneration is all in all a fun and funny game to play, definitely the best Evil Dead game to date, and even with the very apparent bugs and rather short game play time, there is only one word to describe this game. Groovy.- GameShark
