-
The last 2D fighting game on the Dreamcast shined brilliantly like a newly polished blade.
-
Thanks to its solid gameplay and stylized look, it holds up well enough, even three years after its debut on the NeoGeo.
-
It's a piece of 2D history, and one that no DC owning fighting fan should be without.
-
Obviously dated, lacking the elaborate stories and special modes of many current fighting games. Still, the gameplay covers up the inadequacies in most respects.
-
Far from an awful game due to its relative depth and difficulty. It just doesn’t do anything we haven’t seen before.
-
While the game seems to have lost some of its luster since coming out 3 years ago (cripe...I feel old...), it's still a solid fighting game.
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyAn excellent compromise between old-school SNK fighters and faster-paced, more fantastic Capcom titles on the DC today. [Oct 2001, p.148]
