UBO makes for a great Hot Stove League game and I’m looking forward to playing it all winter long.- GameShark

While the dark spooky woods environment can get a little tedious - as can the combat, the story telling is compelling enough to keep you moving forward and just when you finally think you know what is going on, the game will turn it upside down, flip you the bird, and have you rethinking everything all over again - right up until the credits roll.- GameShark

For all its flaws, Heavenly Sword is still somewhat satisfying. Perhaps its short length (just ten hours or so) keeps the button-mashing from becoming overwhelmingly repetitious. Perhaps Nariko’s sexily smoky voice and gorgeous hair is just distracting enough to take your mind off the annoying camera?- GameShark

While the game is a fast and furious stylized shooter, one of the biggest faults the title has is with how muddy the controls feel.- GameShark

There’s just not a lot of “wow” here and it feels like a Vectrex game: it’s the same gameplay as any other on-rails FPS, but you’ve just changed the overlay on the screen to a Western.- GameShark

If you're a fan of mindless violence and are willing to be satisfied just pulling a trigger on some very neat technology, Resistance 3 could tickle your fancy. With stunning visuals that once again push the Playstation 3 to its edge, there's plenty to be satisfied if you're looking for a Bruckheimer-esque production. Walk in looking for anything else though and you'll find a six to seven hour campaign that fails to spark anything more than basal satisfaction throughout.- GameShark

In the end, it’s easy to see that 2K Sports is getting ever so close to producing an elite level, top quality baseball game. But there’s still an ample amount of work to do – and not just in the department of adding new features to the marketing list.- GameShark

It is a fun game, and by jingo when it's at its best it's totally the updated Choplifter that I wanted to play.- GameShark

Kane’s Wrath on the 360 isn’t quite a delight, but it’s not a disaster either. The very simple C&C economy is suited to the platform, and since the game is all about beating the stuffing out of other things, there isn’t a lot of tactical nuance to worry about.- GameShark

For being developed by four people and with a purchase price of around the same amount in dollars, Foreign Legion is a worthwhile investment for some mindless fun.- GameShark

Whether or not you enjoy BattleForge depends largely on how much of a purist you are. It has the cunning and diverse combos of a CCG, but not the pacing for patient maneuvers. It has the tactics and resource-management of RTS, but not the stability in foes to plan for every possibility.- GameShark

Its story is light-hearted and enjoyable; its music and setting feel spot-on; and the in-depth alchemy system is perfect for those who love to tinker around in their workshops. Still, it's a love of labor as much as it's a labor of love, and it's hard to feel like a lot more time was needed to fully optimize it for the PSP.- GameShark

For the most part Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a vast improvement over the first game and is commendable on its visual uniqueness and frantic action, but unfortunately and unforgivably the game is absurdly short for a full priced title and can literally be finished in a measly four to five hours.- GameShark

If you need a game that you can pick up at any time and immediately jump in for some quick brain teasing, PQ is definitely one to snag, but if you are looking for a game that is action packed and will have you on the edge of your seat, this may not be your cup of tea.- GameShark

One gorgeous looking game and would be hard to find a 3D fighter with a more pleasing style anywhere else but there just isn’t enough meat found in the game to sink your teeth into and keep it playable over and over.- GameShark

Unfortunately, while this third episode was overall entertaining and fun to play, it doesn’t improve from the previous one. In fact, it takes a step back, which is obviously a bit disappointing.- GameShark

Older players may find that the generic platforming isn’t enough to hold their interest past the drawing and coloring, but younger players who weren’t raised on Mario will find plenty to love.- GameShark

The main elements that work against it are the length, the somewhat generic and stale pacing towards the middle-point of the campaign, and the fact that the portal system really wasn’t pushed as far as possible.- GameShark

A must buy for any fan of the series to hold them over until Dynasty Warriors 6 comes out. For those who hate the series, you really won't find anything new to sway you to the dark side, and should probably avoid altogether.- GameShark

With NASCAR 07, you get the feeling that not a lot of time was spent updating the game. Yes, the new paint schemes are there, but there's really not much new content here vs. "NASCAR 06."- GameShark

This is the first time in a long time that 2K has a viable baseball game in its stable, and while there remain many issues that need to be addressed either via a patch or for 2K11, at least now the developers have something real to build on rather than being forced to start all over again.- GameShark

Divinity II is the kind of game that falls neatly into the category of "guilty pleasure" for me. It's an RPG that doesn't really break new ground, but plays well enough and provides a challenge.- GameShark

The game's combat system and excellent graphics makes up for a weak second half storyline and ho-hum characters that bring the go down a notch and I have no problem recommending it to role-players that find themselves mostly ignoring those aspects of these games.- GameShark

Ultimately, if you like Metallica (a lot), and if you like the standard Guitar Hero gameplay formula, then this game is well worth the price of admission. If you don’t meet both those criteria, however, you really should move on.- GameShark
