Of Ash and Steel is a conflicted RPG that stands out thanks to its grounded exploration of a distinctly European-flavored fantasy world and a functional character progression system. At its best, it feels like a return to older-school RPG design, though this impression is repeatedly undermined by frequent technical issues, broken quests, and illogical quality-of-life decisions. The game’s ambitions clearly exceed its execution.- Games.cz

If Antonio Salieri was the boss of these developers, it would explain a lot of things. The First Templar is a prime example of a mediocre game that won't hurt nor warm your gamer's heart.- Games.cz

A really pretty knight fighter with solid audio design that is buried by poor design choices and shallow gameplay.- Games.cz

Men of War: Condemned Heroes does fail in everything that matters. Missions are stereotypical, AI is weak, its technical execution is miserable with plenty of bugs, the game design is left to chance and the missions are hard enough to satisfy a sadist.- Games.cz

Are you a tank enthusiast? If the answer is yes, Tank Mechanic Simulator will make you smile as you dig out, renovate and exhibit your own iconic machine. But you’ll also be bored by bland assignments that always repeat themselves and never end.- Games.cz

If you expect a funny puzzle game, you have to look elsewhere. Soul Axiom offers plenty of easily-forgettable levels and dull puzzles, that will resolve themselves. In addition, the game doesn´t excel in its presentation, whether we are talking about graphic stylization or the technical side of the game.- Games.cz

Perhaps there was an interesting idea at the beginning of Back to Bed development – optical illusions wrapped around a puzzle game. A similar idea could have been seen at the recent mobile game hit Monument Valley. However, something went obviously wrong during the Back to Bed development, and its result remains an unfulfilled desire and just a promise from the authors' keyboards.- Games.cz

A game that is barely a game. New Tales from the Borderlands would like to continue the tradition of Telltale Games but misses quite a lot of the necessary ingredients. Your decisions don’t matter, the script just bombards you with ceaseless jokes and pop culture references, the main trio lacks plausible motivation. The voice actors are great, but how does that help a poorly written game?- Games.cz

A branching story with interesting twists and turns, along with co-op multiplayer, means that The Last Oricru is a better game than it would’ve been otherwise. It is, however, dragged down by technical issues and some bad design choices.- Games.cz

A peculiar logical game able to both put in fear and to make think not only about your rules. Every now and then it manages to do so with difficulty, however, its storytelling opened to your interpretation, and its eye-catching execution help to not fall down into the abyss.- Games.cz

Tengami looks wonderful, but controls and puzzle structure are rather unsuitable for PC gaming. Add a shortened campaign or a trivial story and you will find the title, which can be a marvel on the tablet, but to computer players it more likely causes carpal tunnel syndrome.- Games.cz

Neither the kind atmosphere nor the colorful world can hide, that the Toren is very short, boring and hardly playable arcade game filled with too many creators' mistakes.- Games.cz

This is a consummate sequel, building on all the good stuff from the previous game, adding new features and running better than ever. It’s really hard to get into in the beginning, however, and it also tends to be quite repetitive in the long run.- Games.cz

Choo-Choo Charles is more than just a funny idea about a demonic spider train. There is solid gameplay at the heart of this game – it certainly isn’t a world beater and it’s only three hours long but as a horror one-shot with a blend of fun and action, it works surprisingly well.- Games.cz

It’s really pretty to look at, but at its core, Jump Force is an unimaginative, derivative, distinctly average fighting game. It could potentially interest hardcore manga and anime fans thanks to its myriad characters, but that’s about it.- Games.cz

The project, which pays for boring fight system, uninteresting game content and shallow script along with poor voice acting. Good art style, and several nice scenes are not enough for good game in thirty-something hours on boredom.- Games.cz

Cyanide Studios once again manage not to raise the bar. This is a deeply average game reminiscent of cheap B-movies, visually awful and mechanically obsolete. But massacring your enemies as a bloodthirsty werewolf is, not surprisingly, quite fun.- Games.cz

Farming Simulator 23 doesn’t build at all on last year’s predecessor. On the contrary, it lost many features and fans of the series should steer well clear of this. Yes, you can farm while you’re travelling, but why would you do that when the downsides are so many? It could perhaps work as a good entry point, but in that case it probably shouldn’t be so ugly.- Games.cz

This arcade racing series rumbles on quite nicely. The second instalment offers a fun career mode and rich open worlds, even though the Championship mode is disappointing and the game won’t be winning any beauty contests.- Games.cz

For the idea of a blind girl hero and bits of Bioshock, the game would deserve nine out of ten. Everything else, unfortunately, it is an average game that can be attractive only to the fans of horror games.- Games.cz

Although it's a pirate-game with a glimpse of freedom, it's choking on its bad story. You will be entertained for couple of hours by upgrading of your own ship, sea battles or by island-raiding. However, after that the entertainment disappears under a surface like a holey sailboat. Pirates of Black Cove cast anchor more to younger players than to the old ones.- Games.cz

From my perspective, buying the new installment doesn't make sense. It's particularly irrelevant for those who purchase Call of Duty once in a blue moon and desire a complete package, including an entertaining campaign and perhaps cooperative missions. Exhausted zombies don't salvage it. While the multiplayer is successful, the overall package leaves a bitter aftertaste.- Games.cz

Original discourse with the Demon won't cover up that Bound by Flame is just a second-rate RPG with a hint of interestingness, and a heap of ordinariness and flaws. Its story will make you laugh, its world setting design will force you to weep. The only thing giving appropriate emotions is the game's crafting system.- Games.cz

Surprisingly enough, Kinect Star Wars is not screwed as much as I thought it'd be. If I had an offspring, who had a liking for Star Wars, I wouldn't hesitate and bought the game. The reason would be this game works perfectly for kids. However, an adult must say to themselves what they are expecting out of this game. This piece of work is not a flawless one. However, it does belong to the above-average Kinect titles, and unlike the other ones, with this one the Star Wars brand does not suffer shame.- Games.cz

An engaging space shooter with high difficulty level, slightly repeating environment, and decent level design that does not walk around the custom practice of the genre. Fans of the series are going to really enjoy this. However, the rest of you should look elsewhere.- Games.cz

Authors of this crazy arcade game failed to come up with a nice mixture of frustration and satisfaction. The bus controls aren’t comfortable and your skills has only a limited role in missions. Completed levels don´t bring much satisfaction – and without it you’ll get only an ugly game that quickly gets on your nerves.- Games.cz

Monochroma looks great, and it wants gamers to get highly intoxicated by its extraordinary variety of emotions. However, even the most beautiful stylization of the world cannot fix imprecise movement of characters in a genre where perfect accuracy is essential. With a considerable amount of irritating puzzles Monochroma is thus the perfect recipe for tantrums.- Games.cz
