Killzone: Shadow Fall is essentially a heavy shooter of the classical design that, however, won't surprise by its content. Still, it's a great fun, and its graphics will take your breath away. Besides, it has a pretty elaborate multiplayer game.

A bit of a surprise, this one, a full-blooded space shooter that could sometimes throw a bit less at you but in the end stays fun and engaging. What a debut for the inexperienced team!

Dune: Spice Wars masterfully translates the intricate conflict for Arrakis to the gaming screen, delivering an engaging experience while it lets you delve into conquesting new territories, political machinations within the Landsraad, CHOAM share trading, and forging unexpected alliances. Despite the absence of a significant story campaign and stupid AI, it still offers an addictive strategic journey that can easily make you lose track of time.

Both DLCs are mainly there to shed more light on the fantastic world of the original game - and to act as promises of future games. You won’t have as much fun actually playing them, though, mainly due to the frustrating combat.

Unusual MMORPG that will surprise and captivate with a variety of fresh features. Although it can disappoint you with its random element, it can also please you with the astounding amount of options and activities and the huge, completely open world. Phenomenal visuals have no competition in the genre in the moment.

A well-made zombie shooter and one of the few games currently enhancing the PS VR2 lineup. Solid content, beautiful graphics, and a fantastic shooting experience provide ample entertainment for an extended period.

Free (for original game owners) remaster of the brilliant pixel-art star-trecky game brings many cosmetic enhancements. The campaign, among other things, has also a faster pace, an appropriately officers unit, automatic material collection and a new interface. Still, it would help a lot if the game could offer a possibility of sandbox and an option to run the game in slower mode. Core fans of the original game, however, will receive a polished gem with a promise to the future, so they can add one point to the score.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl looks incredible, and the enigmatic Zone captivates you with the force of an atomic explosion. It offers an outstanding blend of shooting, survival elements, and one of the most stunning open worlds of the modern era. While it suffers from a few technical hiccups, these are easily forgiven in light of its exceptional quality.

Well, the two decades of waiting were worth it. We’ve been given a true successor, a new king, even though the AI is still a bit wonky.

Escape from Tarkov offers a unique and extremely intense gameplay experience driven by its atmosphere and the constant tension of every shootout. However, this potentially outstanding experience is systematically undermined by a catastrophic technical state, unstable servers, cheaters, and a design that too often confuses “hardcore” with outright hostility toward the player. The result is a game that comes close to legendary status more because of its reputation than the actual quality of its 1.0 version.

This game demands quite a lot from you, but if you’re willing to immerse yourself in micro-management and suffer infrequent frustration from a district gone wrong, you’ll find a brilliant old-school city-builder set in one of the most interesting locales imaginable.

Witty and undemanding game where the right tactics wins over the simple mouse-clicking your opponent to death. If you like Rocky or Blood Sport movies, and somewhere deep inside you lies a desire to become a champion, you definitely have to play the Punch Club.

A mature RPG that's been suffering from bad technical quality, repeating of the same in-game situations and from the excessively fast monster respawn. If you manage to get over these flaws, you are going to be rewarded with nice gameplay, a well-made motion control system and especially with its emotional story with five different endings.

Farming Simulator 19 is… just another Farming Simulator game. Slight changes include new graphics, horses and John Deere machines. It’s still the best farming simulator around, with all the strengths and weaknesses of its predecessors, but you won’t miss much if you skip it.

Whistleblower just finished a tale of uncommon insanity. He raised the level of brutality, and explained several mysteries from Outlast's plot. However, the number of manhunts with psychopaths has been unnecessarily increased, and maybe there is too much of a rove in the game's setting. Otherwise, Whistleblower is brutal and an (un)enjoyable experience.

The only thing that’s changed in those 18 years is the resolution. Nevertheless, Onimusha: Warlords still offers very solid gameplay in fantasy medieval Japan. The obsolete game design and camera controls are a bother, but what would you expect from the year 2001?

This game is a diamond hidden under unappealing skin. Once you peel it off, you’ll find literally dozens of overlapping, complex RPG systems, unbelievable freedom in what to do and, well, enough fun for days and weeks.

A solid piece of content for the price, mainly if you’re interested in the Mercenaries game mode or want to experience the game from the third person perspective. Shadows of Rose is a pretty cool DLC that actually managed to scare me at least once. And that counts!

Funny post-apocalyptic action game suffers by a too-much recycling. The game throws in the wild chases, awesome fights and eye-catching visuals.

Life is Strange: Double Exposure introduces an intriguing dual-reality concept, bringing fresh gameplay mechanics through the shifting perspectives. The return of Max Caulfield and the atmospheric university setting will certainly appeal to series fans, though it falls short in offering greater freedom of choice and impactful decisions. While the story maintains suspense until the end, it doesn’t quite escape the shadow of the original, and the final choices leave a lingering sense of missed potential.

Fresh piece of a tactical RPG blends well urban and time management, comprehensive turn-based duels, gorgeous visuals, and plenty of colorful and humorous characters. The game, however, deals with saving issues, over-lengthy duels, dubious AI, unfriendly interface and the continuous click-fest over the loading screens.

A solid remaster that improves the camera and navigation while preserving everything that worked and some of the original’s rough edges. The combat system feels somewhat dated by modern standards, but remains enjoyable. The game is still carried by its excellent voice acting, music, and story, which delivers a satisfying conclusion that unifies the events of Soul Reaver and the original Legacy of Kain into a cohesive whole.

An interestingly conceived tower defense game that will please fans of the genre who are tired of its stupor. It is a satisfying and entertaining action game. The ideal choice for those who are depressed that the new school year is beginning, and that they have nothing to play during their classes.

Weird West is indeed weird - it blends classic western together with the occult and creates a reactive, living world for you to explore and influence. Your actions sometimes indeed do have far-reaching consequences - and other times the system simply breaks. But the action is good if you get used to the cumbersome control scheme.

Driftmoon is a fine choice, if you are craving for a joyful and trivial RPG that is not going to suck hundreds of hours of your life, nor it needs modern hardware to be playable. Just don't be too stern, because then you are going to pay attention to many flaws coming from its garage development.

An old school RPG that is simple in its mechanics, yet deep and elaborate. Eventually, the game becomes slightly repetitive, and some bits and pieces would deserve to be debugged. Nevertheless, the game handles everything well at least, and for a $5 price tag it delivers a great deal of fun.

Codemasters managed to create the perfect racing atmosphere, utilizing a top-notch driving model and excellent AI, but then they kind of forgot about everything else: the car pool is tiny, the Career Mode is non-existent, the team management is lacklustre.

Spellcaster University is a perfect example of an independent project done right. There’s humour, there’s micromanagement galore, even the weird graphic design will grow on you almost instantaneously. I don’t think there are any better games about building a magical school.
