A truly huge game that adds more and more content without really fundamentally changing anything. It’s not a very good shooter but it will successfully distract you with countless relatively fun activities.

Turmoil is an addictive and pleasantly nostalgic management strategy. In the role of an entrepreneurial discoverer you try to get rich on oil production, but your dream of dollars spewing from the land will not last long. The game campaign soon becomes a stereotype.

Stand against not only natural disasters and human failures, but also against yourself and a huge, unrelenting pressure. This is a highly addictive game which will entertain and educate you. That’s why we have games.

Mandragora successfully blends metroidvania and soulslike elements, offering meaningful character progression and excellent dialogue filled with bizarre characters. It’s wrapped in a striking dark fantasy aesthetic and backed by a strong soundtrack. However, the experience stumbles in frustrating platforming sections where a single mistake can mean death, especially during repeated treks to boss fights. The main story also never rises above a basic and predictable premise. It’s not a masterpiece, but still a very solid soulslike that will keep you entertained for many evenings, even if it occasionally drives you mad.

Detective adventure game with lots of –on a first sight– interesting game elements that are not finished or meaningfully used. The result is a solid game with an interesting atmosphere that would need the devs spent more time with it. Perhaps the impression will improve with the upcoming sequels/parts.

This is another PS4 exclusive that’s well worth the asking price, even though it’s severely limited by the aging hardware. But that ceases to matter when you experience the perfectly crafted gameplay without a shade of motion sickness.

The shooter core is as healthy as can be, but everything surrounding it is seriously lacking. The open world is empty, the artificial intelligence is stupid, the content tends to be reused. The only element that really works is the action.

Turn-based game with elements of Slavic mythology, in which a number of sophisticated features create a complex and addictive experience. Sometimes luck plays too great role and user interface would deserve quite a few improvements. But otherwise Thea: The Awakening is an original, exciting and great game.

Hard West tactical strategy game shows Wild West without any frills, but in the same time it does not lose elegance. It is rough, raw, but yet very stylish and motivating. Besides shootouts you will enjoy it´s adventure part. Too bad there are some unsuitable ideas.

It would be perfect turn based stratdgy and the best version of Space Hulk. But horrible AI and a swarm of bugs drag this space marine down.

Although it is heavily inspired in design of Angry Birds, Orbitalis is too unpredictable physics puzzle game to attract the broad masses of players. For orbital mechanics fans the game still offers a decent portion of fun.

A rich, original-Fallout-inspired RPG with a brilliant story. You can play it in any way you want and it’s the good kind of gaming freedom. But the sound design could have been so much better.

Nicely done tactical strategy with solid foundations looks like a prototype of something bigger. As if the developers forgot to add more layers over the basic structure. Fans of the genre will enjoy Massive Chalice anyway, even though the gameplay mechanics do not bring anything new and move the shallowness of the content is way too visible.

This psychological “fjord-noir” adventure is well made, but let down by its overblown ambition, far too great for a short game of this nature.

Building virtual bridges – and observing their collapses – has never been so fun. But beware of the occasional frustrating moments. Only rarely the puzzles are able to destroy the player's mood, like in the Poly Bridge.

Beautifully done battle with nature, which relies primarily on audio-visual aspect and a realistic setting. Grab your axe, food for three days and get downstream.

A great adaptation of the original Pathfinder gamebooks. The story is sidelined by tough tactical combat - its steep difficulty may be daunting to genre newbies, but D&D veterans will be delighted. There are technical problems, yes, but those are overshadowed by refreshing kingdom management and interesting companions.

Blues Bullets shows how to open the episodic series. Amazing story opener, distinctive atmosphere, interesting detective gameplay and especially the film concept make this adventure a must have for all thrill lovers.

Yooka-Laylee is an amazing arcade playground with free gameplay and many hours of addictive fun. Shines like a rainbow, though a lot of those colors were "borrowed" from the older games. Non-originality is, however, a bearable price to pay for such great experiences.

Like a roller coaster ride. Except that you don't fall down into the cold water at the very end but directly among bizarre and violent enemies. This is one of the best action-oriented game I have recently played.

Abigail "Fetch" Walker, a sensitive rebel with her troubled past, who gladly hits others, especially when her brother's life is at stake. A long time ago, Brent ran away with her from home when her own parents had informed to DUP – those guys who help and protect, but somehow it does not match to their smile. It is a bad move to get Abigail mad – that is why it is such a joy to play as her. The main heroine of the separate First Light DLC for inFamous: Second Son is essentially more interesting than Delsin; she was already gripping your attention in the original game, considering. Therefore it is not surprising that its creators grabbed her and present her as a great addition, a must to all gamers who love superheroes rampage.

A brilliant game for those willing to stomach a significantly tougher difficulty than usual Mario titles. Also make sure you’ve got enough friends or are willing to try out the online multiplayer - the content for singleplayer is very, very limited.

A magnificent, but also a sympathetic, unpretentious return to the roots of the series. Yet the campaign is short-lived, and your next experience depends on how much you enjoy the multiplayer and/or shooting Nazi zombies.

A complicated game mechanics title that's obviously suited for gamers in love with medieval battles. If it is your love, you will clench your teeth and the gameplay will reward you with a fantastic atmosphere and a rich experience. The game's variations are few, so it is basically two groups of fighters slitting each others throats. Nonetheless, expanding the gameplay experience is a likelihood.

Sakura Wars is more an interactive anime than a proper computer game and could benefit from more gameplay choices, but in the end, it is, kind of miraculously, really fun to play.

A game from the generation before the last somehow found its way to us in the year 2022. The combat is great, the story is fun, the graphics are… dated. Perhaps you can stomach it for the few hours it takes to beat the game.
