There’s great potential in Imperator, but the game is hamstrung by a lack of content, historical inaccuracies and surprisingly tame peace mechanics.

    Hob
A beautiful, vibrant environment that literally shows off megalomaniac miracles in a small space. It is slightly undermined by the occasional drop of fps, its controls and the fixed isometric camera. Still, the Hob is a decent farewell of Runic Games studio. Although it does not match the Torchlight series, it offers interesting duels and funny platforming.

An outstanding and entertaining complement of the saga. Unfortunately, it's a painful experience in the way of its hardware optimizing. However, give it some time and the problems are gone. What stays is a massive strategy game adding functional and mostly enjoyable features to the classic Total War formula.

The Old Blood is more boring and actually worse than the original in every aspect. But thanks to the fact, the original was excellent, even this expansion is still a very good shooter.

Excellent logic-based platformer that can entertain both young and old. Precise design goes hand in hand with a likable presentation and refined gameplay that caters to modern trends while not forgetting the old ways. Once again, Nintendo hits the bullseye.

The gameplay itself is as well preserved as the ancient pyramids but this remake is unfortunately full of technical mistakes and strictly speaking does some things worse than the original. But it’s still very addictive so don’t drown it in the Nile just yet.

An interesting explorative adventure from the creators of Myst offers both smart logical puzzles and dark mysterious atmosphere. But you can find better pieces among the similar games.

The final episode of the PS3 Ratchet & Clank chapter is more of a small game than a fully-fledged one. Considering its purchase cost is adequate along with the overall game's intensity, it is a perfect ending of another period of Lombax' colorful life. Moreover, there's a bonus on the disc, Quest for Booty, an old but totally awesome mini installment certainly worthy of your attention. So get cracking!

The original multiplayer bloodbath, which is adorned with absolutely phenomenal combat system. Gameplay is excellent, but the final score is lower because of technical issues, especially for the “quality” of the network protocol.

The idea behind Beautiful Desolation is, unfortunately, its greatest success, let down by the way the game itself works. Still, this quaint trip into a world of post-apocalyptic retro-futurism is worth a try.

While building attractions is fun and addictive, the rest of the game has too many issues to truly impress. The weak management aspect might be forgivable, but the lack of innovation compared to the first installment and the confusing, impractical interface are harder to overlook.

Transport Fever 2 is minimalist, yet full of builder’s dreams. There aren’t many better transport sims.

A clever and sound sci-fi story in one adventurous package. It may torture your brain as well as your patience. After an intense opening its tempo is decreased, however, by the time you reach its excellent finale it will increase.

A bold game remarkably combines platform games with tower-defense strategies. Unfortunately, its originality does not resonate with its quality. Neither part of Aegis Defenders is finished properly. And the biggest problem is, the game is almost unplayable –unless you have a fellow gamer for local multiplayer.

Frantic action arcade Clustertruck will teach you how to jump on trucks, which is hilarious. But very sad is its technical quality. Due to the general lack of any QA testing, fun is soon replaced with anger and frustration.

Exactly what a sequel should look like. There are better graphics, sure, but also various changes and improvements. Nothing groundbreaking, no – but this solid strategy game doesn’t exactly need to reinvent the wheel.

A few nice improvements cannot hide the fact that FIFA needs proper innovations really badly. The Ultimate Team works well, in no small part thanks to the new Chemistry system, but the Career mode is literally dead and buried. I’ll be expecting much more from the future EA Sports FC.

What looks like a rough experience is, most of the time, a goal-directed tough visit of an island, where you with a compass and a laboratory look for a way to cure your infection. Your enemies are fatigue, fever and darkness, or more precisely a fear of what is lurking within.

This is an enjoyable entertainment for long winter nights that faces up to stereotype despite its oscillation in a gaming difficulty. All in all, it's a good title for the time of your lunch-break; however, for deep thoughts, complex mechanics and original ideas look elsewhere.

So far the best soulslike from Deck13. Miyazaki’s admirers won’t be enraptured, but not put off either by this game full of contrasts, bloody fun and several original ideas.

Very entertaining game thanks to its return to the roots of the series. Beautiful and enormous London, lifelike two main characters and great gameplay make use of successful elements from previous games, not trying to experiment unnecessarily.

An excellent mix of Mario worlds is united by simple, but rock-solid RPG elements. Regarding the gameplay, there is nothing in Paper Jam Bros. to criticize; concerning the story however, the game offers too little – a little pity in an adventure that can take tens of hours. Even so, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros. is a perfect tip for a Christmas gift.

A surprise of the year? Definitely! Dragon Commander is a big entertaining game, proving above all that more the genres you mix it does not necessarily mean more the risk and pain. The dragon soup is a gastronomic hit of the summer.

A big surprise among military shooters. Spec Ops will present you a dark story that's opposing the well-known clichés of the other military games. It's a pity, however, that the action part doesn't go along with the game's storytelling.

Faint return of the popular adventure series. Deponia still charms with its original concept and humor …and even Rufus lost none of his charm. The devs from of Daedalic bring us an adventure that is good only with its story, but not with a gameplay.

Apocalypse watched from the window of a train is definitely catchy. Unfortunately, the creators did not succeed in building interesting platformer around it. Just a solid atmosphere does not create a good game.

At its core, this is a fairly enjoyable metroidvania with solid level design and attractive environments — but it's brought to its knees by an unnecessarily overcomplicated gameplay system, bland combat, and technical shortcomings. The style of humor here also won’t be to everyone’s taste.

Focusing on combat, dull story and conflicts with immersing players into the game make the first part of The White March expansion a wasted opportunity. Nevertheless it offers a good entertainment for those who still can not get enough of the original game (and its combat system).
