This next-door neighbour of Sid Meier’s Civilization is mostly very well done and always beautiful. It can, however, also be pretty dull and some design choices don’t work as well as they should - including the vaunted culture morphing.

Decent expansion to the classic RPG, which -in addition to the inevitable technical limitations- suffers mainly due to the uneven quality of the script. All in all, it is a very good excuse to once again venture into the world of Faerûn.

This game is pretty and it’s interesting in the way it presents a dangerous situation through a well-written story. The gameplay is nothing to be celebrated, however, and there are some genuine design mistakes sprinkled in.

The fact that EA Sports FC 26 remains the best football game on the market says more about the state of the competition than about the game itself. The game is an honest invitation to the dark times of European history, with a few freckles on beauty, but with a fast gradient and accessibility for almost everyone who does not have problems with the RTS genre.

Mini Metro shows that all the brilliant ideas are actually very simple. The game looks like a map for tourists, but no other map offers so much fun and education.

Survival experience at its best – that is an episodic adventure, The Long Dark. It could even be a great adventure in RPG style if it improves the storytelling and technology in upcoming episodes or updates.

Pacific Drive cleverly combines roguelite elements with arcade driving gameplay that will delight all gamers who want to upgrade everything from tires to body panels on a virtual car. Despite the repetitive gameplay and sometimes frustrating difficulty, it is an atmospheric ride that can conjure up impressive scenery.

Evolution over revolution. Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter doesn’t reinvent the wheel but carefully expands on what made the first game great. The sequel is richer, more refined, and offers greater variety. However, a few lingering flaws keep this woodcut-style adventure, reminiscent of Mouse Guard, from reaching the heights of gaming greatness—though it comes very close.

Some parts the handwriting of Remedy veterans is easily recognizable, but the gameplay is stereotyped and uninspiring. Also the proclaimed connection of the game and the live-action series does not work as intended.

You will hate this game and you will love it. It won’t stop torturing you and fraying your nerves, but at the same time, it’s glorious fun.

Some flaws present in the first installment disappeared, three characters offer three unique style of gameplay, and this is still absurdly funny entertainment. However, unbalanced enemies and the absence of any crucial novelties whatsoever that would push the game anywhere further, harm the game experience. It is more of the same, but without the moment of surprise. Nonetheless, fans of the original title have nothing to think about – for them there is a fair amount of entertainment lasting for several afternoons.

Pleasant maritime adventure benefits from historical background and it’s excellent is storytelling about masters and servants. Everything else is unfortunately slightly below average. Especially dull gameplay harms the experience – you'll spend more time watching the game than playing.

The real challenge lies in logistics, as you must design an efficient system that integrates the ever-dying workers into an endless cycle of evolution and labor. This twist on the automation genre succeeds because the smaller scale brings a much greater sense of responsibility for your hundreds of ants.

Orwell is both minimalistic and generous piece. Try out the role of an official in a state that degenerated into ‘spy-o-cracy‘. You'll see how easy it is to control a society dependent on the Internet. The idea and gameplay are perfect.

Do you want to massacre undead hordes? Go ahead - but the technical issues and design problems are much scarier than any old zombie.

The result of a passionate night between the F.T.L. and Fallout games is a bit ugly to look at and very hostile to the guests. If you have the nerves of steel you can find some hundreds of hours of pure entertainment. NEO Scavenger game is definitely the most interesting survival game of the last year.

Still There is an unassuming little game with the potential to completely overwhelm you. You will laugh with it, marvel at its plot twists and despair at the fate of ordinary people. This emotional experience is further underscored by great music and beautiful visuals. The only possible rebuke? The puzzles are a tad more difficult than they should be.

Original, stylish and user-friendly combat game, that will entertain you with its gameplay in local multiplayer. But Arms suffers from a desperate lack of content and functions. Basically, there is nothing that you would expect from a full price modern combat game.

A beautiful fairy tale about one troubled kingdom and one valorous princess that you may have played but almost certainly haven't seen yet. Child of Light is an excellent one-shot JRPG which will be like a feast for you and at the very same time like reminiscence of your bookish childhood.

It is said, that the third day is critical, but it certainly does not say, that the third episode is critical. At least not in the case of “Game of Thrones”, because The “Sword in the Darkness” is the most successful episode so far. After the slow start the series begins to roll and it looks the pace will keep. We hope.

Watch Dogs are no gaming revolution, but it is definitely a steady start of the new series. With respect to the game's size you may wink at technical issues which are like a really heavy stone attached to the PC version's ankle. However, you may wink at them but only to some extent. Enough is enough. Despite all that, Watch Dogs do not deserve to be damned considering it is an entertaining title, and although it does not run on 100% for the most part, let us say it does not pronouncedly fail in anything apart from its story.

There are not many new things in NHL 17. But despite the absence of major changes, it is still a game that is worth considering. Small innovations in gameplay upgraded the game; and improved management mode along with the online modes will entertain you until next year comes another episode.

This diversion from the main branch of Darksiders games was a risky, but at the end of the day correct, choice. This game is devilishly fun.
