The sweeping changes in Civilization VII are nothing but beneficial. This legendary turn-based strategy remains as addictive and engaging as ever, packed with fresh ideas—most notably the ability to change civilizations mid-game. Expect dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of deep strategic enjoyment. The only downside? Some key mechanics seem destined to arrive later via expansions.

This is a solid game, even though it’s not good looking at all and it borrows perhaps more than it should from its peers. The karikuri system is, however, a high point which the developers should accentuate even more in the future.

A momentary year's volume that's gas fumes-driven, and that places reliance in fans' benevolence. A presence of the classical open-wheel cars from the rich F1 history, and the old (same) solid driving pattern are grinding off the edges of your disappointment. Well, only if you do not own the last year's volume though.

UFC 2 is better in all aspects than the first game. It is not only an excellent simulation of combat sport liked mostly by MMA fans, but it is also a great promotion. Thanks to the qualities of UFC 2, the count of MMA fans will increase again.

Add-on full of good, but unfinished ideas, spoiled by an artificial intelligence. However, this extension enriches the Sixth Civilization, but certainly not enough to convince a fan to buy it, especially when the price is not cheap.

This is no Hades but if you like to die a lot, you’ll love it anyway. The innovative curse system is a lot of unpredictable fun, every single run is different and, what’s more, it all looks really pretty.

An inventive action adventure that draws its inspiration from Slavic folk tales and legends. Its world is stunning and will draw you in to explore without using a million icons on a huge map. The story is also interesting and imaginative. The combat system, however, doesn’t quite reach those heights.

A well-designed, realistic, and enjoyable golf simulation, unfortunately held back by a dull career mode, a strange RPG system, and aggressive microtransactions.

This remake is a great way to remember a true Czech legend which nowadays suffers from old age. This game respects the original but with its own twist - a darker, more believable story.

Great mix of mindlessly entertaining action and a primitive RPG works brilliantly thanks to a sensitively created design. It offers truly countless ways to kill enemies, great feeling from the fights and the flawless technical state of game. Little things, such as the slightly repetitive environments or a bit unbalanced difficulty can be forgiven without a blink of an eye.

MechWarrior 5 Clans brings the series into a new generation of gaming engines while establishing numerous gameplay mechanics. From pilot upgrades and new command options to more modern controls, everything comes together effectively. The addition of a robust, linear storyline is a great success, portraying the grim reality of war through the eyes of a well-written cast of characters. It's just a shame that weaker AI and optimization hold it back a bit.

The joy of imaginatively designed world with many surprises is spoiled by an unbalanced arsenal, boring action and user-unfriendly controls.

The second season started slowly, and out of its nature The Walking Dead franchise is not able to repeat its huge craze in the past year. Starring the young Clementine is like a promise of brand-new experience, but otherwise it's all the same as before, and with the same problems rolling in. In any case, the most important thing remains - it has a great story.

Lost in Random feels just like a hand full of wonderful cards – and then some of them don’t work the way you’d expect. The art style is a triumph, as are the characters and the story setting. This would be a proper jewel - if only it wasn’t for the combat system which is, to put it plainly, just too random.

Another one of the many powerful playstation exclusives that bets on exciting narrative with tense emotional moments, serious decisions and sophisticated characters. It is great to look at and it also plays well, and we are happy to forgive it a few mistakes when it comes to controls.

This stunningly beautiful journey across a magical world deals with themes of personal loss, betrayal and punishment as you watch a civilization turn into a memory. And it doesn’t even matter that you don’t get to actually play the game all that much.

All-polished platformer does not bring as much "wow" moments as we would have liked, nevertheless the game design is great and innovations show something new even to experienced gamers. In addition, the cotton visuals are irresistibly cute.

If you hear someone claiming a mouse and a keyboard are the most suited controls for a PC, turn on Rocksmith for him. This educational game proves that you simply can't beat a guitar with some funny buttons. It certainly has its magic, but you won't probably become a rocking mage. However, as an accessory for an amateur guitarist it serves perfectly.

The return of the legendary game that showed that shooters are not only about the number of opponents killed. The level design, great villain, and disturbing story still work after nearly thirty years. In addition, Nightdive dressed the game in decent modern graphics with admittedly retro styling. This is what a loving remake looks like.

Kyle Crane is back – and so is his darker self. What started as a planned expansion has grown into a full-fledged game, offering more brutal action and a more appealing setting. Unfortunately, it’s once again packed with recycled activities and an utterly unnecessary story. Fans of the first game will find plenty to enjoy, with dozens of hours of content to sink into, but it still feels like something essential is missing – and something unnecessary is weighing it down.

Without a doubt this is the best Call of Duty game in recent years. Flawless movie-like single-player, fun and fantastic multiplayer which is everything but boring. Although the game didn't deliver the promised revolution visible progress has been achieved.

For a little money a very decent portion of fun in the form of a ship, weapons and story characters that can leave an impression. On the other hand, it's still the same thing over and over and sometimes you will not even get to the new content.

A beautiful, yet sadly dystopian game. Unfortunately, the playing itself is the least funny part of the game. It’s a must-buy for fans of the Ghiblian-style animation, for others an interesting probe into your own conscience. It’s an enjoyable experience, however you do have to overcome the bad controls during jumping passages, fortunately the game doesn’t have many of those.

Heart of the Forest is a unique game from the creators of the first Witcher. It’s basically a gamebook, which will turn away many, but the much bigger problem is its lacklustre ending. If you, however, crave a dark story in the middle of an ancient forest, this could be the adventure for you.

Do you have four friends and are you not afraid to spend a bit of cash? Try GTFO. It’s an exceptionally good horror action game that borrows a lot of the best stuff from other, similar experiences. It may not be perfect but it sure as hell is addictive.

A brilliant old-school shooter which isn’t afraid of modern features. It’s hectic, lightning fast, destructive, explosive and bloody. There are weaknesses, sure - but if you take it in small doses, this game will reward you with a very pleasant time indeed.
