A unique experience that has more in common with virtual tourism than with a game. Abzû looks great and sounds wonderfully, but that's all. Don't expect anything beyond the three-hour splendor. Swim, repeatedly press the square on the driver and eventually get lost in a philosophical opus without words.

A well-made instalment of the great game trying not to innovate itself, but pleasing its hardcore fans or newcomers nonetheless – by its new campaign with more assignments, an import option and by a several new buildings addition. One is just wondering why there are still some flaws in the game and why the Tropico 4 does not bear a title of an expansion pack?

The endless waiting was worth it. Although the second episode is much shorter than the first one, the pace and humor are still there and the game is able to entertain you from the beginning to the end. Tales from the Borderlands are pointing for great success... when the entire first row comes out.

Five Nights at Freddy's, even without both the third dimension and high production values in general, is really scary. It is a little horror game which will scare you with both its original idea and its implementation, proving there may be always a new approach in any genre.

The Man Who Erased His Name will be most enjoyed by seasoned fans of the Like a Dragon series and Kazuma Kiryu. It may not be as lengthy or unpredictable as other installments, but that's not necessarily a drawback. Primarily, it serves as a satisfying prelude to Infinite Wealth.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A brings a fresh, action-oriented take on the series, breathing new life into the world of Kalos with dynamic real-time battles. Lumiose City feels alive, a richly explorable environment full of secrets and meaningful interactions. While the game occasionally stumbles over minor technical issues and slight control imprecision, it ultimately delivers a captivating and thoroughly enjoyable spin-off.

Iratus could have been a worthy successor to Darkest Dungeon, but is cast down into the swamps of mediocrity by its monotonous, boring battles.

An unconventional journey into the city, where life stopped. The game is betting on melancholy and its pillars are built of a human despair. Like the previous games of The Chinese Room studios, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture won't suit everyone – but the chosen players will be very pleased, so they forgive the game its lazy pace.

In the Offworld Trading Company business strategy you do not fight using strength, you use a money instead. You will be attracted by complex economic mechanics and exotic environment of planet Mars. The game, however, in its basic version does not entertain long enough. You can get a satisfactory game time if you choose to get not-so-cheap set of DLC packages.

FIFA 22 looks amazing on next-gen hardware which was to be expected. What was not to be expected is the brilliant gameplay. It still isn’t a full-blown simulation, of course, but it’s way more tactical and fun than before, including the (in)famous Ultimate Team. The only thing that truly suffers is the neglected Career Mode.

End Game is a well-made ending of the DLC cycle for Battlefield 3 that is still fun as hell. Once more it offers four maps, however, this time in the outdoors. Moreover it adds two new modes expanding on its own large variety of things you can do in the game. On top of that it gives you a "nimble" motorbike.

The first PS4 piece of the time-tested series does not bring a miraculous technical design and it has some flaws. But at the same time, it offers a great entertainment for both new and seasoned golfers and motivates players to show up their mastery.

Initially, you must be very patient when jumping straight into a humongous armed conflict, but in exchange you’ll get some of the most intense turns you’ve ever witnessed in any Total War game. But the strange thing is, you’ll get a lot of the best stuff for free. So why pay?

The imaginative mix at the first sight but the makers didn't finish their job fully. The game keeps your attention for only a short time, after a while it begins repeat itself.

Starfield feels like a game that has come a long way but never quite reached its intended destination. The Free Lanes update significantly improves pacing, the technical state on PS5 is excellent, and some systems rank among Bethesda’s best work. Yet it never shakes the feeling that beneath layers of unnecessary activities lies a game that could (and should) have been something more.

This is an interesting, but inconsistent mix of twelve mini-games that are meant to teach you how Wii U works. Nintendo Land is up to that task, however, the game is not entertaining enough.

The WRC series is getting better step by tiny step. Career mode, dynamic weather and a good overall feeling behind the wheel will make every racer happy - but next time, we expect more content and better polish.

Bigger world, grander battles, more content and polished multiplayer. The second adaptation of the Warhammer 40k world by Tindalos Interactive is a success, and it didn’t even need to introduce many innovations. Improving the original is enough.

An entertaining builder/puzzler for all virtual designers which has recently merged with Portal where it takes its mechanics, stylization and humor. Unfortunately, the game wears off over the time and its emphasis on precision isn’t supported with better tools.

Need for Speed was seriously starting to look dead and buried – and here comes the rescue party! The combination of beautiful, realistic-looking graphics and effects borrowed straight from an anime works surprisingly well, the story doesn’t get in your way and the driving model hits exactly the right spot. Even the open world is fun! This is how you make an arcade racing game.

Crimes & Punishments is blessed with the very pretty graphics but also with the new gameplay – it is centered around your freedom to investigate, which is quite possibly for the first time in the series that you may experience the weight of your own decisions.

Amnesia: The Bunker deviates from the rest of the series. This is not a linear story game, more of a semi-open world horror in which you’re hunted by a terrible beast. Once you see through the tricks, however, the illusion of fear is gone and a horrifying WWI bunker becomes just a corridor full of locked doors.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership shines with its unique setting, imaginative battles, and the charm of its iconic plumber duo. While it lacks deeper RPG mechanics and suffers from some technical hiccups, it provides plenty of fun through vibrant island locales and inventive gameplay. The story occasionally loses momentum, but it still takes you on an enjoyable journey, albeit without any major surprises.

“Life is Strange” doesn’t disappoint any adventure-with-story fans - the first episode starts a gripping story with a large number of interesting characters and narrative mysteries. What is the impact of the player's choices that is a question we do not know the answer yet. As a teaser the first episode works pretty well.

Solid, but unbalanced mix of strategy genres. It suffers from several suspect design choices that all but destroy the tempo of the game, further exacerbated by a lacklustre story campaign.

If you find contemporary platformers too difficult, with Giana Sisters you are going to change your opinion, regardless of the game's unlimited number of lives. Giana Sisters is, despite its higher difficulty level, an interestingly designed and entertaining platform game, counting on your precise coordination and the ability to quickly change between the heroines and their worlds.

Bud Spencer & Terence Hill – Slaps and Beans 2 is a much nicer, just adequately expanded sequel to the enjoyable beat 'em up, with a clearly defined target audience – two cooperating fans of Italian comedy films. They will have a lot of fun with the game (and a bit of healthy frustration). Solo players will also enjoy it, albeit to a lesser extent, while those unfamiliar with the theme may find much better examples within the genre.

A successful remaster of the puzzle-action adventure that retains its charming touch of light horror. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, however, doesn't hide its slightly outdated structure and a few period-specific bugs that could use a bit of vacuuming.
