An absolutely fantastic RPG platformer that is old-fashioned in the one thing only - it won't give you anything for free, and it keeps you gaming till your death. This is not for the one-hit wonderers. There are few of this kind of games, of this kind of fun. Rogue Legacy is a fantasy miracle made of pixels.

An excellent RPG space shooter with a style of the classics that's going to entertain you till the end of the world. The game offers more than 20 hours of single player gameplay, in which you won't take a break. And then there's the game's multiplayer.

Standing ovations! New episode touches perfection in some moments, but elsewhere – especially in the narration – is running out of steam. Nevertheless, you will return to the game over and over without any hesitation.

The first and only expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 easily justifies its existence with its captivating espionage plot. The invitation to return to Night City is simply hard to refuse. It doesn't just offer more of the same; with its attention to detail, story, and the multitude of ways to handle every situation, it can be ranked on par with both expansions for The Witcher 3.

Another one of the many powerful playstation exclusives that bets on exciting narrative with tense emotional moments, serious decisions and sophisticated characters. It is great to look at and it also plays well, and we are happy to forgive it a few mistakes when it comes to controls.

A surprise of the year? Definitely! Dragon Commander is a big entertaining game, proving above all that more the genres you mix it does not necessarily mean more the risk and pain. The dragon soup is a gastronomic hit of the summer.

A Link Between Worlds has everything you expect from your beloved series, and in addition to it there is an open world with original ideas. The new Zelda game is tailored to the handheld, its gameplay is wonderful, it looks great, and it offers plenty of hours of remarkable entertainment that will kindly torture your brains. One of the best Nintendo 3DS titles indeed.

Puzzle platformers have discovered a new direction. Swapper philosophizes, pines over, drools, but the main thing is hidden in its gameplay. Swapper is able to clone people. And that is fun.

An excellent strategic piece. You may be discouraged only in the case you own the original SoaSE with all its DLCs (The Trinity edition); because all that is new could be put into a tiny DLC.

One of the best modern action adventures has finally arrived to PS4. Except a few small issues this version is a success, moreover, you will get all DLC along with the game; you can play in co-op and you will experience and extraordinary trip to Lara's home –  even with the support of VR. Set high difficulty, turn off auxiliary indicators and enjoy the Tomb Raider with everything that goes with it.

Nioh 3 is not without flaws: It could be more expansive, offer a wider variety of weapons, and feature a more diverse bestiary. Even so, it stands as the most entertaining soulslike since Elden Ring. The ability to switch between samurai and ninja adds new depth to combat, while the option to tailor a fighting style to personal preference works exceptionally well. The thoughtfully designed open world encourages exploration without compromising the game’s tough but fair difficulty. For fans of the series and the genre alike, it represents a clear high point of the trilogy.

An outstanding and entertaining complement of the saga. Unfortunately, it's a painful experience in the way of its hardware optimizing. However, give it some time and the problems are gone. What stays is a massive strategy game adding functional and mostly enjoyable features to the classic Total War formula.

Forza Horizon 6 doesn't innovate anything in terms of driving and is still just as fun as its predecessors. However, Japan is a much better playground with a better career and activities, this time with the ability to build your own tracks, customize garages, deliver food and much more. It's beautiful, a joy to listen to and play. It's just a shame that new cars are being thrown at you again this time, and there's no sense of any merit. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if the sixth one becomes the most successful, most played and most enduring in the series.

New Super Mario Bros U is going to teach you to not worry about turtles nor squirrels, but to love mushrooms. You don't believe it? Then try yourself this Wii U launch title, and have fun - solo or with someone.

Death Stranding 2 is a confident sequel: Still strange and poetic, but now more accessible, coherent, and featuring significantly more enjoyable gameplay. Kojima’s signature style is omnipresent, yet this time it feels less self-indulgent. Technically excellent, the game also shows meaningful progress in combat and world design. It's not for everyone, but for its target audience, it’s an almost perfect experience.

One of the surprises of the year. There’s a huge open world full of content waiting for you, and in this world you’ll fight, solve puzzles and enjoy a light-hearted story. And it has Czech subtitles.

Donkey Kong is a well-oiled machine perfectly functioning for more than 30 years, showing even this year it has no flaws. Quite the reverse, it scores with its breathtaking rendering of the game's world along with, quite possibly, a high level of difficulty. However, the difficulty is perfectly legitimate, reminding you of the amount of ways for a game to be creative.

Cairn is a first-rate climbing simulator that goes far beyond its genre. It captivates with its environment and vistas, soothes with its melodic tones, moves with stories grounded in basic human experiences, prompts reflection on one’s own motivation, and rewards effort of any kind: Significant or small. A profound experience that lingers long after playing, and even when the summit is reached, its repeated call continues to resonate within.

MIO: Memories in Orbit is an outstanding metroidvania that easily stands alongside genre giants like Ori and the Blind Forest and Hollow Knight. Its watercolor visuals and captivating, vibrant world full of hazards and secrets kept me glued to the screen for dozens of hours without a single dull moment. The only minor drawback lies in the less engaging classic combat encounters during exploration, though this can be somewhat mitigated through settings.

Devil May Cry is back in all its glory, but it isn’t stuck in its own past. There are new features galore and everything works together like a well-oiled clockwork.

This new adventure with a new hero in an old environment hits all the right spots. The focus on Miles’ family was a correct choice, plus there’s the obvious benefits of the new console’s power - and you can even enjoy the game on the PlayStation 4 with very few compromises! It’s just a shame that it’s a bit short.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a brilliant platformer bursting with ideas, and even though it strictly adheres to tradition, every minute is still a joy. If PlayStation was looking for its own Mario, it found it.
