Bravo Team is a halfway decent VR game with immersive shooting experience. However, the weak performance of PSVR drags down my evaluation of this game, and there are also too many bugs within it. Maybe we can say, it's still not the best time for VR.

Not like other SLG, pushing is much more important than damage in Into the Breach. Your strategies must change significantly to fit the new rules, which makes the game interesting and unique. Besides, you can find roguelike elements, a great variety of mechs, and challenging enemies in it as well. It is definitely one of the biggest surprise you can buy these days.

Though there are several annoying glitches, Kingdom Come: Deliverance still can be considered as a masterpiece. It is somewhat like an uncut diamond, which oozes wild but soul-shaking charms.

Metal Gear Survive is a decent survival game, and it's definitely fun to play with your friends. But it's not fun enough to completely satisfy, especially compared with Hideo Kojima's Phantom Pain.

The original Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 are still magnificent these days, and the Nintendo Switch version succeeds in allowing you to re-experience them on the latest console, even in a portable way. If you are a fan of action games but haven't tried the original version before, don't hesitate to buy the bundle. They might be the greatest action games until the releases of God of War or Bayonetta 3.

Koei wanted a brand-new look fpr Dynasty Warriors, so they decided to transform this game from an action game to an open world RPG. But this open world is like a rough stone, which has poor appearance and thoughtless design, with many boring side missions and too much time wasted on the way. The new combat system is fine, yet terrible graphics, tons of bugs, and low frame rates still ruined it, making this game a complete failure.

The concept of Shadow of the Colossus is unique and full of charm. The remastered version on PS4 is remarkable, which means it is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to try it, no matter whether you are an existing fan or a new player. However, Fumito Ueda's works are always a little bit cult, so it is also understandable if you may not get into this game.

Candleman: The Complete Journey is a pretty zen game with a very attractive core design of puzzles. Using 10 seconds of light to find a way out is always full of expectation, especially because the producer made the graphics extremely artistic and beautiful, which reminds me some former masterpieces like Journey or Monument Valley. What's more, I am really into the story about the self-redemption of this little candleman.

There is no doubt that Sid Meier's Civilization: Rise and Fall is much more complete than the original version, and you can map out a lot of new strategies that could be interesting or crazy. I already can't stand playing Civ 6 without the DLC now.

Obviously, Celeste is a wonderful game, with a strong storyline which you rarely see in platform games. Fantastic level design and puzzle settings give players a feeling of freshness from the beginning to the end, and the large number of levels makes this game worth the price.

Telltale's new interpretation of Joker is a great success, and your decisions will cause much more serious consequences than before. However, Episode 4 of Batman: The Enemy Within still has a ridiculous plot that makes the story childish.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is like a great feast to anime fans. Many classic scenes perfectly reappeared in this 2D animation rendering game, and interesting reactions of the characters could satisfy fans as well. But it is not a game just for fans. Arc System Works used the experience learned from producing the Guilty Gear and Blazblue series to build Dragon Ball FighterZ a solid fighting game, with a cool 3V3 TAG fighting mode. It is much friendlier to newcomers, because of the one-button combo system, and the simplified movements input.

Monster Hunter: World is the most transformative game in the entire series. The open world is fantastic, and the ecosystem is vivid. What's more, the exploring and hunt experience will give you a serious sense of achievement, and a good amount of new humanization design makes this game friendly to newcomers. Capcom absolutely made Monster Hunter great again.

NFS: Payback is full of defects, such as the boring story, highly repetitive missions, useless open world design, and annoying microtransactions. However, it is not terrible enough to get a fail score. This game contains exaggerated and cool controls, exhilarating car chasing, and fascinating background music. If you also enjoy the passionate scenes of the Fast & Furious movie series just like I do, I think you will love this game anyway.

Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.

As the latest generation of the Sonic series, Sonic Forces retains the high-speed game experience. To comply with the trend of the times, Sonic Forces reduces the difficulty, hoping to use this strategy will attract new players who have never tried this kind of game. Unfortunately, the length is not sufficient enough to satisfy players, and too much repetitive content makes this game boring.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a very stereotyped Lego game. Most of the gameplay element can be found in other Lego series, and the difficulty of this game obviously cannot satisfy hardcore gamers. However, this game is good enough for the target audience. Maybe we do not need to focus on the overall quality, fun and happiness is the key to its own value.

Compared to the original version, you barely can find any difference in Ultra Sun/Moon. The good part is, USUM keeps the advantages of SM, while the bad part is, many previous faults can still be found in USUM. This is an expansion with no sincerity.

Black Mirror is a very traditional adventure game. It has some remarkable moments in its narration and puzzle parts, yet boring pace, terrible characterization, clumsy mission design, and tons of bugs have destroyed the experience of the game. But of course, considering we barely can see this kind of games nowadays, we still recommend you give it a try, if you are a big fan of AVGs.

As a hardcore RPG, Seven shows us a realistic cyber punk world in a very creative way. It looks like a good game, but a lot of serious bugs and defects of gameplay have ruined it. This game had a nice idea and frame, while the producers failed to make it right.

The evaluation of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is doomed to be polarizing. It has many advantages, and can attract a lot of players. Meanwhile, there are plenty of terrible designs that cannot be understood in it too, such as lengthy game pace, tedious missions and boring combat. To love or to hate, that is the question.

Due to the different scenario settings, Life is Strange: Before the Storm has to abandon the rewind system which is the most interesting part of the original LiS game. Therefore, this prequel might lack the originality and interactive quality. Luckily, Before the Storm only takes three chapters to tell audience a brilliant story. And the characterization of two different girls Chole and Rachel is impressive. Like the original story, the finale chapter is a mess. But still, Before the Storm is just a simple love story. Maybe most of players will not judge the logical problem as a very serious fault.

Along with the publishing of the 1.0 version, we also get a new desert map, a very practical playback function and many other updates. The completion of PUBG is now better than ever. However, the connection quality is still bad at times, and the cheaters are still everywhere in this game. PUBG has a long distance to go before it can be praised as perfect.
