As such, it's not for the general gaming public and the casual gamer should stay very, very far away from it. On the other hand, those who like a good challenge, thrive in the face of difficulty, and have the patience to die a thousand deaths may find a lot to love here.- Gamers' Temple

I found it to be the kind of game that starts of quickly, hits a difficult mid-game, and then leads to elation as the solution falls into place ' followed by an almost irresistible urge to just at least have a peek at the next puzzle that inevitably leads to the desire to just go ahead and complete it.- Gamers' Temple

For Dragon Ball fans, there is plenty to love about Xenoverse. I loved the story and character creation, and the loot and mission systems made playing through a joy that bordered on a compulsion. All those aspects add up to the best Dragon Ball game ever made, but the 3D fighting and movement knock the game down just enough to set it squarely behind Super Dragon Ball Z as my favorite game based on my favorite franchise.- Gamers' Temple

Overall, Gunpowder is an enjoyable, and rather unique, physics puzzler. If you enjoy a bit of a challenge, and being rewarded for your efforts with a pyrotechnical display, you'll want to fire up Gunpowder.- Gamers' Temple

The nature of the games means that they really only entertain the first time that you see each one, so repetition very rapidly sets in and your interest will wane just as rapidly. So much so, that you may not even be interested in playing the same micro games over and over again simply to unlock the rest of them.- Gamers' Temple

There are some good ideas at the core of Interplanetary, and you're initial time with the game will be enjoyable. However, the weapons phase of the game is a poorly designed exercise in frustration that will have you soon giving up on the game.- Gamers' Temple

The game is good for a little bit of mindless fun ' the crazy ricochets and exploding zombies are entertaining ' but there's not a lot of challenge to setting up your shots.- Gamers' Temple

The mix of Metroidvania style gameplay and bullet hell boss fights is novel and interesting. I did enjoy the boss fights, but the stretches in between weren't as much fun.- Gamers' Temple

I had fun with Hero Defense and I liked the game's art style and tongue-in-cheek storyline. The RPG elements and upgradable hub area are nice touches as well.- Gamers' Temple

Overall the enjoyable aspects of the game outweigh its flaws, and I enjoyed the game. At its core it is a jigsaw puzzle game, so if that's not your thing Glass Masquerade won't have anything to offer you. If you do enjoy jigsaws, though, it's easy enough to recommend the game based on the artwork alone.- Gamers' Temple

That's pretty much all there is to the game, building up your power-generating resources, purchasing a special item, and then seeing where the story takes you next. Sometimes a little gameplay element is added in, such as trying to drop probes on a specific spot on a planet from orbit, but for the most part the game will just run itself with occasional input from you. If this sounds like it may be boring to you, you're probably right and should avoid SPACEPLAN. On the other hand, if you're willing to spend a few dollars on a game that's a bit unusual, you may find yourself enjoying the experience.- Gamers' Temple

It's the kind of game well-suited to mobile but that serves as a quick break between more serious tasks when you're on your computer. What it does it does well enough, but it doesn't do a lot. If you're looking for an unusual and quirky time-waster, its low price and simple gameplay make Cooking Witch a good choice. If you have a short attention span or get bored easily, you'll probably get five or ten minutes out of Cooking Witch and then never play it again.- Gamers' Temple

Much like Scorpion in the original Injustice, Sub-Zero has been toned down from his usual MK appearance but he is a lot of fun to play in Injustice 2. You can't pin a player down with an ice klone anymore since the ice klone will not form if Sub-Zero performs the move too close to his opponent and he needs meter in order to freeze his opponent from long range so his game plan has changed quite a bit from his MKX appearance. He retains his light damage gameplay and he is still a defensive fighter, so MK fans will be familiar with him, but he still has a different feel to him which makes him more appealing to play.- Gamers' Temple

A few casts of your line make Fishing Master an enjoyable enough VR demo, the kind of game you'll fire up when you have friends over who haven't tried VR before. It's not the kind of game that you'll sit down and play for an hour, though. It's just too simple and too repetitive to hold your interest for long.- Gamers' Temple

Debris is by no means is a heavy hitter among other games this year, but does lend itself to a very questionable and interesting experience. If this game had more immersive elements to it such as VR, then I would lean a little more in favor of recommending a play-through. If you are looking for a drawn-out mind bender this game is for you, but be sure to grab two copies and play with a friend.- Gamers' Temple

Project Resistance is overall a good companion online mode for the Resident Evil 3 remake rerelease, so be sure to check it out if you pick it up. Fans of Dead by Daylight should give it a try since it has a similar overall setup to that game, but it's very much its own game. At first Project Resistance doesn't seem like much, but after spending more time with it and learning how to get better at it, it actually is quite a fun game.- Gamers' Temple

As much as I loved every part of Profane, the whole "time" thing really killed the entire experience. The bosses are truly memorable encounters, the graphics, story, music and gameplay are all excellent; but the "time" thing... it feels like watching anything past season 12 of The Simpsons. The spirit is there, and it is amusing, but something just doesn't work. In the case of The Simpsons, we don't really know what happened; in Profane's case, we know it was being a slave to the clock that took a great thing and killed it, in this reviewer's eyes at least. There is no doubt that Profane is a good, if not great game, and for a certain subset of audiences, it will be a speed run, ultra-difficult sensation. This reviewer, however, is on to less frustrating experiences.- Gamers' Temple

If you're a fan of MK11, then you should already have Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, but if you're still on the fence about it, the added story is great and the three new characters are some of the best so far, so it's definitely worth a pickup.- Gamers' Temple

If you enjoy roguelike games such as Prey's "Mooncrash", you'll most likely really enjoy The Persistence, but if you're not a fan of that style of gameplay this game most likely won't change your mind. It's highly addicting, but it can get frustrating with the continuous deaths you'll most likely suffer.- Gamers' Temple

Honestly, talking a lot about ZAAM is giving away too much about it and for a game that is so short, it’s best to try it out for yourself, especially for a game with a bargain price upon release. Even with a short length, the game gets a lot accomplished in the way of exploration and story. There are many files to collect that give you backstory and the events that unfold as you find key items will piece together your memories and overall backstory. The game has multiple endings as well. It’s definitely worth a play-through for the curious and those that enjoy a good story.- Gamers' Temple

The developers made sure to keep the overall fighting experience as the main focus and it moves at around 60fps most of the time. So long as you have a good controller or can use the joycons with fighting games really well, this is a decent version to play. Of course, the main highlight of the Switch version is the fact that it is portable, so you can play it on the go unlike any other console version. The online portion of the game is hard to review – since you’re playing on Switch, which is wi-fi focused, it’s hard to say whether the slowdown is from the connection or the actual netcode. I do get some matches that play pretty smoothly and some that have tons of slowdown, so it’s very up and down when it comes to online.- Gamers' Temple

The game is a total mixed bag, but most of the bad parts are brought on by the performance issues from being on Nintendo Switch. It just seems like the game wasn’t fully optimized well for the system. If you plan on playing the game portable, you may not notice the problems as much, but the framerate still got to me at times, even in portable mode. Overall, Silver Chains is a decent survival horror game, but I’d recommend another version unless you plan on playing in portable mode all the time.- Gamers' Temple

The game has a few jump scares here and there, but you hear the loud noise before you even see the actual scare. There were times where I didn’t know what the game was trying to show me – all I knew was that I got the jump scare noise and that I just “witnessed” a jump scare. The game does seem to have some secrets which could encourage a replay. For a budget title, the game is actually decent. Overall, it’s a 50/50 chance whether you’ll like this game or not. If the game was more expensive, it would be easier to lay down a lower score, but with its current price point and the fact that I stuck with it all the way through, it’s actually a decent title for the price.- Gamers' Temple

Overall, RE Village is a fantastic RE game with some minor flaws here and there. It takes just about everything from RE7 and makes it better. RE Village loses much of the horror in RE7, but it makes up for it with everything else. I really feel it’s impossible to not like this game more than RE7 and this is coming from a person that greatly enjoyed the horror aspect of RE7. I was a complete naysayer once I saw that RE Village had more of an action approach and was proven wrong by the end of the game. Resident Evil Village is really good and is a definite pickup if you’re an RE fan.- Gamers' Temple
