Nostalgia aside, Alien Force is really a pretty awful game, and certainly not one worth paying full price for.

Overall, most people will skip Popstar Guitar without a second thought, but until junior's hands grow to the size needed for a real guitar controller, this is a somewhat adequate solution.

It's going to take even more M&Ms candy to keep you awake while playing this title when compared to the Wii version.

A competent, workmanlike game that never surprises you. If you're looking for a new computer-based card game, this could be it, especially if you don't want to cough up the money for something like Eye of Judgment.

Big props for offering something new for poker fans, but you must go elsewhere for a real poker game and higher production values. At least the career mode is good for one playthrough.

Chicken Blaster takes a player through eight stages of shooting nothing but chickens and it's about as fun as it sounds.

The inclusion of a single player (bot practice) mode is something I always appreciate because I don't have to drop into a game and have my butt handed to me for the first 46 matches while I figure out what gun I'm holding.

Frobot is about $10 and despite some rough graphics is worth the price based on a silly vibe with lots of smiles tossed in.

It's all pretty repetitive and unexciting, and there's not really any motivation to keep running the same boring races over and over again on the same tracks. There are far better racers out there, even on the lowly GBA.

Traditionalist puzzle gamers should probably take a pass on Luxor Evolved, but those who enjoy the arcade classics - or their modern remixes - will probably enjoy it. However, keep in mind that it may be the kind of game that's good for a few hours of play, but not something that you'll come back to time and again when you're looking for a puzzle challenge.

If you love all things hidden object the novel setting will probably make the game enjoyable enough for you, but if you enjoy a good puzzle you should probably look a challenge elsewhere.

There's nothing that The Old Clockmaker's Riddle does really wrong, the match-3 gameplay is a proven formula and it's competently implemented here. However, the game doesn't add anything that's really different to distinguish itself from all of the other match-3 games available. You may as well just stick with Bejeweled.

Evilot is enjoyable enough for those who like lane defense games, but the potentially confusing upgrade mechanic will be a turn off for those who just play an occasional game of Plants vs. Zombies.

I really enjoyed my time with Moscow Dash. The content is cringe-worthy at first, but quickly forgotten when visuals and gameplay get their hooks in. The sole bit of IAP makes little sense, but the base game is great fun.

Sewer Escape has a nice presentation, with bright, colorful cartoon like graphics and a fun sense of humor, and the game does what it does well enough. The problem is that it doesn't do that much.

Overall, I enjoyed Nun Attack: Run and Gun. I like its style and appreciate the challenge, and I like the way that it provides some fun in a bite-sized package that makes it a perfect phone game that you can play while you need to kill a few minutes of time. If you're the type that has to unlock everything, though, be prepared to put a lot of time or money into the game.

I've played all of the major titles released with the Xbox One, and the one that I've had the most fun with, the one that I keep going back to, is Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. If you get only one game with your shiny new Xbox One console, make it this one.

Save the Carrot Pro quickly wears out its welcome, and you'll probably want to delete it off of your phone or iPad within five minutes of playing it for the first time. Even if games lasted longer than a few seconds, there's not enough here to hold your interest for much longer than that.
