While I enjoyed the game from an aesthetics perspective, I wish that the controls were tighter and the puzzles more challenging.

Culpa Innata is best left to the most masochistic of adventure game fans.

Transformers: Decepticons is a very entertaining mid-summer treat for DS fans everywhere, especially for those who tire of always having to save the day.

You'll get several hours of play out of the expansion, and if you enjoyed the original game's campaign you'll have fun with this one.

The Sinking City is an overall good game if you enjoy investigation games with a bit of horror elements in them. This is really not a game that I would recommend to a horror fans since it focuses far more on investigation and the overall story is slow from the start. Once you get deeper into the game, the horror atmosphere gets better, but it never does stray too far from solving cases in order to gain evidence that takes you to your next lead. Basically, it's not up to a Call of Cthulhu type of horror atmosphere, but it does have its moments where it gets a bit freaky in between all the investigation moments.

All complaints and setup times aside, FF XI is one of the stronger MMORPGs out there, and when it comes to console MMORPGs (not PC), it may very well be the best.

Perhaps 'Boringgirl' would have been a better title.

In spite of the short length, repetition, and glitches, Regeneration does provide enjoyment to Evil Dead fans. The voice acting by Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi's brother Ted is excellent and the game packs in a surprisingly large amount of dialog between Ash and Sam.

F.E.A.R. Files is a disappointing expansion to a fun and scary game. The gameplay, and especially the graphics, seem to have gotten very old very quickly.

Mole Control could have just as easily have been called Molesweeper

Sim racing fans will find that it is too easy and not realistic enough, and will grow tired of it before too long.

Features some great tracks and can be fun to play at times, but it does not have the challenge or features to give it real staying power.

Fans of One Piece might find something to enjoy in One Piece: Burning Blood, but newcomers will be totally lost.

Putting aside preferences, the control scheme for Operation Surma works just a bit better on the Xbox’s controller allowing more sensitivity and precision.

Best suited to younger gamers new to RPGs as veteran gamers will find it too simple and repetitive.

The puzzles needed to be more creative and challenging, a bit of a help navigating would have been nice, and I could have done without the timing-based puzzles with the sloppy controls.

If you’re a fan of old-school survival horror games, definitely give this game a try. I greatly enjoyed it and could look past the flaws, but the flaws are too bad to ignore (in some instances) when reviewing the game. Alone in the Dark is a series that has been MUCH in need of a reboot and reimagining and this latest Alone in the Dark does that quite well. This game may have its problems, but it’s certainly nice to see that Alone in the Dark is actually relevant once again.

So I was interested to find out if my enjoyment for football overcame my disinterest in strategic games. Well in my case the micromanagement aspect was just too much for me to overcome.

The action's not enough of a payoff for all the time spent in robot design.

Call of Cthulhu is such a dark game that if you turned off the lights while playing it, you might get sucked into the void.

Great visuals can’t make up for repetitive and unchallenging gameplay.

It doesn't bring anything new to the table past the usual Warriors style gameplay, so if you're both a Berserk fan and a Musou fan you'll get the most out of it.

A good mix of manga characters along with some SEGA goodness, but deep down, the game feels shallow as a fighter.

It's a shame that the battles can so often be frustrating in the game, because everything else about it is enjoyable. The hand-drawn artwork is fantastic, the video game references enjoyable, and the story a lot of fun. However, unless you have a high tolerance for frustration it's doubtful that the game's positives will be enough to drive you to play it all the way through.
