Skyward Collapse is a game with simple mechanics, good interface and is visually pleasing, it's just not a lot of fun to play.

Overall, Sid Meier's Starships is simply too simple and bland to hold the interest of empire builders for long, and its best feature, the battles, is neutered by lackluster AI.

If you’re looking for a WWII shooter for your PSP, then Call of Duty is not a bad choice as long as you don’t expect it to match the excitement of the other games in the series.

Resident Evil Resistance is a surprisingly terrific topper to its base game package. It is one of the only multiplayer games where teamwork is genuinely essential. Not only that, but playing as the Mastermind is a truly unique and empowering experience. Accessible, layered, and blood-pumping, this is a marvelous multiplayer foundation that will only get better.

Older gamers will find the gameplay simply too repetitive and simplistic. A new beginning for Spyro was a good idea, but this game is more of a false start.

Too short, linear, and easy to recommend on its own merits, Batman Begins is best enjoyed as a rental to be played soon after seeing the movie while you’re still on a Batman high.

You don't see many platform games in this style these days, especially on the Xbox One, so Super Lucky's Tale delivers something a little different. If you're feeling a little nostalgic for a platformer in a classic mold, the game will certainly help scratch that itch. It's also something that will be appealing to younger gamers, but the youngest ones may find it a little frustrating. Otherwise, you're safe taking a pass on this particular tale.

Killer is Dead is probably the weakest Suda51 game that I have played, but it has a very enjoyable combat system that might draw in some players like it did with me.

Youngblood starts off great, but fails to keep that momentum going. The level-locked missions and daily grind required to level-up and advance just don't work with a Wolfenstein game, especially since it lacks all of the social and gear upgrade aspects of the online shooters it is trying to emulate. This also makes the game stretch out it its already thin story to the point where you'll barely notice it's there. Youngblood is a rare misfire for the Wolfenstein series, and you won't miss much if you sit this one out.

When you stop thinking about how much better this game could be and accept it for what it is, you realize it's an enjoyable, story-driven, partial sandbox, space-flight sim that doesn't hold your hand like most current games. But even a space geek may not be able to overlook all of its out-dated and ill-conceived elements.

It has all of the prerequisites for an amazing game: good graphics, strong fiction to draw upon, and an interesting plot. Unfortunately it stumbles in its execution of gameplay, and not because it tries to hard to do something new.

Speaking of flying on Saphira, that wasn't nearly as much fun as I thought it would have been and never gave me the idea or feeling of power that must go along with being on such a beast. I really would have liked to see more down with the flying and for better control while flying.

If you’re really into fighters, then you may want to rent the game to check out the novel betting feature, but expect to be disappointed by the game’s relatively simple fight engine. However, overall The Con just doesn’t have enough going for it to suck you in for the long term.
