This year, players can customize up to five different players to take through the progression update. Also for this year, in game lighting has been revamped along with updated character animations and skin textures to provide a higher level of detail and realism. Adding to the atmosphere, NBA 09 The Inside utilizes a true T.V. broadcast presentation with highlights, a broadcast-style camera, and a comprehensive and in-depth audio commentary with top broadcast talent.     While The Life remains an eminently pleasant diversion, it’s not enough to vault 09 past its rivals. It’s definitely worth a rental by PS3-owning basketball fans, but NBA 09 The Inside needs more time in training camp before it deserves a spot on the court with Live and 2K9.

    There is a level of frustration that accompanies this game that simply won’t go away no matter how many games you play or in what mode. Sure, the mini-games are fun, but they cannot carry the franchise.

    With a plethora of old bugs and issues rearing their head, NBA 09: The Inside has a ton of problems that overwhelm the title. It's still a fun, arcade-style basketball game, but you're going to have to put up strange gameplay problems that have plagued the franchise for years and some unrealistic court play to fully enjoy it.

    NBA 09: the inside is a very Underrated NBA Game on the Playstation 3 because when i've heard about this game, In my opinion, The reason why iNBA 09: the inside is a very Underrated NBA Game on the Playstation 3 because when i've heard about this game, In my opinion, The reason why i think this game was an Great Underrated NBA Game that was made by Sony. The reason why is because this game had The Life Story where you have 3 different stories on different created players. The Life Story was an amazing game mode Also, they have Player Progressive mode where you create 5 players to upgrade their Attributes by playing game modes so you can get Credits where you can buy your Items, Gear, and Upgrades for your characters. They even have minigames, They have an Franchise Mode which allows you an NBA team and control its player transactions and other things covered by a real General Manager. you have NBA Replay that allow you to real NBA game played in real life and Quick Play mode allow you to play NBA or D-League Teams in a normal match. NBA: 09 the inside is one of the best basketball games on the Playstation 3 and it's my favorite game on the Playstation 3.… Expand
