The finest RTS game I have ever played.

No matter how smooth, pretty or great sounding a game is, if it ain't got that swing it ain't got a thing. Sacrifice has swing, oh lordy, it has swing.

Over the past 12 months, I have played some of the best games ever made and playing Black & White is just pure icing on the cake.

By far the best sequel I've ever played.

Few games capture me from the get go, but this one did...an absolute joy to play.

With such a diverse assortment of characters in the game, its shocking that 99% of the gameplay is ridden of cheap moves and attacks, graphical flaws, poor sound quality, etc; perfect as you would call it.

It is a rare thing indeed when the builders’ tools are as addictive as the game but the AT presents such a slick, clean interface and ease of use that it is hard to stay away from at least trying your hand in a little Module creation.

One of the greatest games of all time. Splinter Cell redefines what a game should look, play, and sound like. Perhaps most amazing is not that the graphics, gameplay, and sound are so good, but that they all blend together to form a whole so well.

This is the only game I have played where Depends ™ should be in the System Requirements. There are more "leave a stain on the upholstery" moments in the first chapter of this game than in most horror/flasher flicks.

If you want to keep a semblance of a normal life, do not buy this game. It will suck you in and refuse to let go, then you’ll end up with the same stench and bloodshot eyes that I have.

While there a couple of warts, NHL 2001 is, in this reviewer's opinion, the best NHL game to come out of EA Sports, ever.

I really haven't had a game get me so fired up in a while, and this one seems to be one that I couldn't go wrong with. If you were a fan of the original AoE, then you're probably going to love this sequel.

For fans of the genre, Animal Crossing can best be explained as a mix between "Harvest Moon" and "The Sims," and it's just so damn fun.

As complex as the game might seem, its success is contingent on one main feature-fun. It's rare that after 20 hours of solving this puzzle and slashing that boss you'd want to try it again. Expect to do that with Ninja Gaiden.

I was absolutely blown away by Call of Duty. It’s a rare occasion when a game can make you feel as tense as this one manages to do; it’s also pretty rare to find an FPS that just feels so much different from all the rest.

Once I reached that Zen state of immersion, it felt as though the controller and I were one entity, working together to achieve a common goal. As I wove through a barrage of bullets, deftly changing colors in order to survive, I knew that Treasure had crafted a jewel.

Packaged with a new, longer campaign, an expanded roster of COs, a bunch of new maps, and a new constructible unit, the game boasts plenty of original content.

A great game. Pretty graphics. Sweet tunes. Killer gameplay. Exclusive online competition. So damn good.

Overall, it’s just "Super Mario 3," but that’s like saying it’s just a Lamborghini Diablo. This is the cream of the crop of almost all games, and to have your own copy to go with you wherever you go is worth the money for the game.

An outstanding achievement in tactical action, Freedom Fighters soars to the top of the genre with spot-on gameplay and solid visuals. Streamlined tactical controls and solid AI make playing the game easy and fun.

An experience that is concurrently Star Wars and something else. KOTOR is not simply another franchise-supported derivative; it stands as an original vision, independently justified - an RPG for the masses and the few.

One of the best sports games to hit the PC this year. While many of the hockey or football games have better graphics and improved gameplay, Tiger Woods 2003 is a whole new experience in itself.

It's a fresh take on the old turn-based RPG formula and the hilarious, but sometimes slightly plodding story will keep you glued to your Game Boy Advance for hours and hours.

Luring the entire neighbourhood into my house then sealing the doors and removing the food and toilet is just one of the many indignities I have visited to those under my care.

Though few tennis titles have garnered high praise, Top Spin is hands down the best to date. It’s easy to learn and fun to play.

The extra additions of the grooves and super combos was also a stroke of genius, and now that I look at this tiny little disc, I have to ask myself, “How did they fit it all in there?”

It is an inexcusable fact that "OoT" had almost twice as many dungeons, considering it came out so long ago. The dungeons are the most fun aspect of the game and you will be left wishing for more. Also, with fewer dungeons come fewer bosses.

Despite some gameplay options I felt were missing and a more expanded Live setup screen, MechAssault is a boatload, no pun intended to missile boat fans, of fun for both hardcore and casual mech fans.

More so than any other game, it allows complete player-driven gameplay in the progression of the story and character development.

By far the wildest and craziest party game to hit a console system and is a must have replacement title for players who like "Crash Bandicoot," "Super Smash Brothers" or "Fuzion Frenzy" style games.

NFL2K3 has everything a football gamer could want. It has great graphics easy and intuitive controls, and the gameplay is extremely fun.

With the depth of its franchise mode and the abundance of game modes, Madden 2004 has loads of replay value that you will treasure.

They have added some new features, updated the engine and generally given us a good new reason to spend a little of our hard-earned money.

It doesn’t have the flash and hype of big name, but it is one of the best games I have ever played.

A triumph. The application of the job system in conjunction with equipment abilities makes developing characters more exciting and quicker than the original.

The movie license is fully exploited and used brilliantly, the production values are outstanding, there are cool unlockable features, and the fighting action is intense.

If trains are your bag, this is your program. There are other train simulators out there, but this is bar none the most polished, most complete, and with a company like Microsoft backing it up, likely to be the best supported of them all.
